I have had more fun playing this game than any other title this year. People complain about microtransactions but two points about that : 1) **** is incredibly fun who cares 2) I have only about 20 hours invested and already unlocked 12 players without using microtransactions. God forbid if you have to invest time to unlock players. You don't have to pay to unlock players, but you do for swag items....something you don't have to have. A best friend played 2 games with me and bought a copy for himself on the way home. Great game.

Great game! Just finished playing it and had a blast. Movement of skaters has improved so turning is quicker and smoother than ever before. There were a lot of penalties called, but majority were justified since I was rattling the poke check at inappropriate times causing tripping of opponents. The old time controls is awesome and one timers are much easier to execute this year. The new modes are awesome too. Highly recommend to any sports gamer.

The fact that this game is getting low scores BEFORE IT'S EVEN RELEASED makes sites like this useless or unreliable. Is it NBA fanboys trashing the other big sports title being released the same time as the NBA games? Is it people who hate how NHL is considered one of the best sports titles year after year? I have played evey NHL title EA has ever made and NONE of them was deserving of a failing grade. Click on each reviewer to see if thier biased towards certain systems, sports titles, etc before blindly listening to them. This is great game, threes and sim modes both. Best sports game this year PERIOD!!

Ask yourself 2 simple questions: do you play games to have fun or do you want to be frustrated to the tenth degree? This game is alot more fun than dirt rally was, that was a great game too but the realism in it made it so frustrating it was not fun. GameRogue has an unfair opinion that games should cater to hard core gamers, but most of us have jobs, families, friends etc so we cant spend hours upon hours playing games. Especially if they are so punishing that they are not fun. There are alot more causal gamers than hardcorps gamers, so game companies need to focus on us or they simply cant make enough money to survive. Best. Option would be to make games that have sim and arcade settings to please both types of gamers. Giving a game a 0 because the difficulty isnt perfect to just you is ridiculous. I could give dirt rally a 0 for that reason, but since I am rational I would say that while it is to focused on sim for my taste, it is a great game for those looking for that. Dirt 4 is a great game for those that just want a fun racing game thats easily accessible.

This is a great game and I hate to see its score be lowered by people who cant spell, put together a proper sentence or contradict themselves in thier own reviews!!!! Example: one guy gave this game a failing grade because it was to easy, that he didnt die once but three sentences later said he hated how he kept getting killed over and over!!?? These types of reviews should not be allowed on this site, opinions are one thing but when there are obvious contradictions in said review then it is not worth hearing. The low scores may keep people away from a great game and fan boys over rate games that should be avoided. This game has a mature story for us ADULTS who play games. I wish just one first person shooter would have one, thats why COD still isnt nearly as good as fan boys, and even most professional critics, say it is: if you want to just mindlessly shot stuff play duck hunt or better yet try growing up.
