Sony going the way of EA and Rockstar. Always online DRM, micro transactions, RNG rewards and earnings nerfs to push you toward spending real money. RIP Gran Turismo. I’ll be skipping GT8.

This will be the last GT game I ever buy due to ruining the game with disgusting always online DRM, RNG rewards and manipulating car prices to increase the amount of grinding required to push people towards paying for micro transactions. The icing on the BS cake is Yamuchi saying the price adjustment was to make it more realistic - insulting our intelligence. What a shame as this could be a such a great game. RIP Gran Turismo.

Best FROM software title and that’s saying something. Nothing I can add that hasn’t been said before other than make sure you get the dlc as well - well worth it for the whirlygig alone. If you’re a fan of the “souls” genre, this is worth buying a PS4/PS5 for. Here’s hoping for a remaster as It’s almost criminal this was never patched for PS Pro.

I’ll keep this simple. The game is shallow, tedious and broken. Don’t get **** in by the shiny visuals. The people giving this high scores obviously haven’t played very much of the game nor have they encountered the many gamebreaking bugs. The combat is tedious and clunky, the loot is boring, there are only three areas in the game and they all play the same. There is no mission variety, in fact when free roaming any world all you do is activate a beacon that leads to 3 garbage puzzles and once you finish them, the game doesn't give you anything else to do except warp back to the main hub so you can reload to the same area to do the same thing again for little reward. At the the time of this review there are several major bugs that make the game unplayable. These vary from not letting you attack enemies, to not being able to open chests and collect resources to being permanently unable to complete the free roam beacons. There is some potential here and with a lot of work, this could be a decent game. At present this game is not ready for prime time and was rushed to release. Avoid.

I don’t understand why this game is copping such mixed negative reviews? Sure it’s not the most original concept and sure it wont be for everyone, but it is very well executed. I can’t believe people are comparing this game to State of Decay 2. Days Gone despite it’s issues is one of the most technically impressive open-world games made using the unreal engine; whereas, State of Decay is a somewhat fun, but not technically impressive game at all. There’s no comparison. Check the game out yourself and make up your own mind and don’t listen to BS reviews. I’m enjoying the game myself and a very impressed with the end result. I feel a bit sorry for Sony Bend getting this kind of undeserved negative reaction after all their hard efforts. The game is solid.

A broken mess ****. It’s insulting to think this game is asking the same amount of money as some polished AAA releases. The developers must have known how bad the game is before release as it took ages for any reviews to surface after the game’s release. The presentation isn’t bad, but the physica and handling are terrible beyond belief and the game is very bare bones. Modes like the treasure hunt seem barely an afterthought. The game map may be bigger than Fuel’s, but it’s far uglier and much less interesting. Avoid this game like the plague.

This is a rushed, buggy and ultimately unpolished product. At first glance the initial presentation and visuals may lead you to believe this is a polished AA or even AAA game, but once you start playing you’ll see it is not The vehicle handling is servicable, but can be very glitchy and at its worst the physics even resemble goat simulator. I can literally exit the vehicle on foot, let my driver take a run-off into the front of the car and knock it like a bowling pin - the game can be that bad! There are lots of amatuer oversights throughout the game such as a camera inversion option that only affects vehicles and not your onfoot driver, which can be very disorienting. The game overall lacks polish. There are all sorts of collision detection bugs, clipping issues and bad animations that simply should not be in a game in this price-range. This game was released before it was ready. I could live with many flaws if the fundamental gameplay were solid. I never expected the production values of a big publisher game, but what I did expect was excellent polished vehicle handling and good physics. In a driving/navigation game this element is essential and unfortunately the thing that lets this game down most. My advice is to either wait until the game’s major issues are fixed - not sure if this will ever happen - or if you must, wait for a dramatic price drop.

This is Expensive, overpriced garbage. The developer who made this has zero understanding or respect for the original game. I am a huge fan of the Wonder Boy series and 1st game and this game couldn’t be more disappointing. The level layouts and enemy placements are not the same as the original nor are they an improvement in any way. The artwork is no better than a low budget flash title and the audio is just lazy. To top it all off the controls are sloppy. You would think a remake would improve on the original, but this does not. They would have been far better off remastering the original. As it stands I’d rather play the original classic on mame than this. If you are a fan of the original AVOID, you will only be disappointed. CFK should be ashamed of themselves treating a classic IP in such a sloppy and lazy way. AVOID! You have been warned.

Forget about playing this in a car, on the subway or anywhere with patchy service. On top of that it's bugged and will often not detect your connection even when it's fine with other apps. Looks good, sounds good and plays ok. The base game is thin on content with alot more locked behind an expensive season pass. I'm not sure the game has enough depth and content to last past the holiday season and the price of the season pass will ensure most people will be playing the vanilla maps anyway. I predict this one to go the same way as Battlefield Hardline and Titanfall with the majority of players dropping off after a short period of time. If you **** the base game, but hold out on the season pass and see how things pan out before dropping the cash.

This Game is absolutely superb and fortunately the PS4 port is very well done. It runs very smooth with the only drawback being semi-regular load hitching, which to me wasn't frequent enough to disrupt the flow of the game. The story is very engaging and the atmosphere spot on. At one moment you'll be on the edge of your seat wondering what dangers lurk around the corner whilst the next you will be exploring a safe area soaking in the scenary. It's hard to say anything specific about this game without any spoilers so ifyou're wondering why I am being so vague that's the reason. If you're remotely interested in horror/puzzle solving, the do yourself a favour and experience this game.

Way too many reused assests and a very large chunk of the main story line involves traversing through areas already in the game. Ignoring update 2.0 (which was free) TTK doesn't offer anything much above what the previous expansions offered and seems the higher price is to subsidise the stuff in update 2.0 that everyone supposedly gets for free. Basically, just enough here to tide us over until the next expansion.

I would describe this game as Journey set in a realistic environment. You do little more than explore, take in the scenery and step by step piece the story together. Fortunately, the story is interesting, the size of the world ample and the scenery gorgeous. It's slow going at first, but becomes more compelling as the story unfolds and the world opens up. Should also mention that the sound track - when it kicks in - is amazing. There aren't really any game mechanics in the tradional sense unless you include the trophies, that require discovering certain items and performing certain actions. This game comes highly recommended to anyone interested in something different. Full marks from me.

I enjoy the driving physics and have never had any issues with AI that others speak of and I think most people complain, because the game is actually challenging and doesnt give you many easy victories. You will have to learn and improve in this game and with it's sense of speed and best in the business visuals it's an absolute joy. Ignore the haters and try it for yourself, you will wonder what the hate is even about. Half the haters have never played the game in the first place and only echo what they've read from others who have likely done the same thing.
