Knack 29

A great platformer beat 'em up game, I wish there were more like this one! Excellent action, great story, decent **** of course, Knack is nothing short of awesome character, especially when huge :) Even ending credits are cool! I immediately started on hard difficulty - do it if you're looking for challenge. Definite recommendation, I hope there will be Knack 3!

As I was always a fan of games with a horror theme, this was a truly great experience. Story is complex and interesting, atmosphere is more than suitable, graphic is great as well. For those ones looking for hardcore action, I would suggest to avoid the game, however if you're into immersive and catastrophic story / experience, this is a way to go. In my opinion, it's better and more complex than Amnesias. Definitely looking forward to the next Frictional Games title of this genre.

Regardless of frustrating controls and camera movement, this is a truly amazing game. All the cons are completely substituted by excellent story, which is more emotional than I'm used to in games. Great work, and Trico character is truly marvelous. Definite recommendation to people who are into these types of games.

Dante's Inferno8

Although many here call it a GoW clone, I cannot deny it, but this still is a good game. It was annoying occasionally, with all the stupid falls over the edge or dumb placed checkpoints, but if we ignore it and focus on action and game graphics, it's very enjoyable. For example, leveling up is much more interesting then in GoW. I find it doubtful that GoW fans won't like Dante's inferno as well.

This is truly a unique game, I liked a lot the way how you're collecting Folks (your army), feels like you're fishing with dual shock :) Graphically, I'd never say it's a 2007. game, atmosphere and music are close to perfect. The only thing that annoyed me occasionally was leveling Folks up, and I have to admit that chapters between Ellen and Keits could be a little more distinctive. Advice for all of you planning to play it - play 2 chapters with one character and then 2 with the other, to avoid boredom. Overall, very good and highly enjoyable game.

A perfect mixture of Tomb raider and Prince of Persia. Addictive game that forces you to play it until you pass it. Combats are dynamic and occasionally pretty hard. Graphics are a bit outdated, yet still beautiful, but what the hell, it is a 2007. game. I truly hope that the later series are at least equally good as is this one.

Although the game seemed boring from time to time, with pointless overacting dialogs, it's a great game overall, like each FF. Graphics are beautiful, as well as the soundtrack, story could be somewhat more interesting but what the hell. What I liked a lot was the new battle system, even if it seems stolen from the Grandia serial. I see that people argue about its linearity...I didn't mind it, as long as the rest is nicely done. Anyway, for all of you planning to play it, if you liked FFX, you'll like this one as well.

This is certainly a unique game, and it's a must have for all fans of interactive/psychological/thriller games. It's like a long movie with great story and atmosphere where you're the main actor. Although it was sunny outside while I played it, I kind of felt drawn into the depressive and dark atmosphere of the game...drawn that much that I finished it in 2 days :) Since there are so many possible outcomes, it's a perfect game for playing more than once and to make different choices and consequently view different endings. I used PS Move and that made it even more interesting. I'd give it an even higher grade but controls where annoying sometimes, especially when moving a character around the screen and it seemed like Move controls could be a little bit more precise, sometimes they simply didn't respond well.

Since I'm a huge fan of turn based strategies like this, I'm giving it an eight. There aren't many games of this genre on PC, or anywhere. I really liked the darky atmosphere of the game, as well as its soundtrack. Some battles were really tricky and hard to win, and even if the game consists of battle after battle, it was never boring. If the character development system wasn't so complex and consisted of many meaningless skills, I'd give it a nine without second thought. I'd recommend this game to all Final fantasy tactics fans because since that time no game was even close to it.
