Player Career - Can't request a transfer. Can't transfer in January window. Can't go on loan. Demands from clubs are ridiculous, such as you must make 100 slide tackles before you can transfer. The game is trash.

Amazing! Paid £54 ($69.50) only for it to crash 1 second into the intro video. They literally can't even program a game to make it to the main menu. And no way to report/submit bugs to anyone at Rockstar! Great! A two day closed beta period before release would have solved this. Excellent!

Downgraded in every area: --- Gameplay --- 1. AI still constant cheating by man marking every player and closing down. 2. AI score every header including NEAR POST. 3. Every near post shot goes in. 4. Awful shooting accuracy. 5. Increased wrong-foot accuracy with no system to force them to use correct foot more often. 6. Keeper palms perfectly into their path. Same with tackles/deflections. 7. Slowdown on first touch. 8 Can't outsprint ANYBODY. Constant catchup. 9. Lone striker will never score due to constant blocks and closing down. 10. AI constant dragging back from behind. --- Career Mode --- 1. Can no longer buy players from their profile, only from the shortlist. 2. Can no longer scout players from shortlist, so have fun with 0 information about players. 3. Can no longer compare players with R3. 4. Can no longer loan youth players because they always reject. 5. Two games in one day if playing leagues with 46 games. 6. No asking for slightly more cash from owner. 7. STILL constant international offers. 8. Reduced save game slots 9. STILL constant complaining about not playing even though they play all the time. 10. Removed transfer history. Moved to another screen that only shows 3 on the screen at a time. 11. Removed form list screen. --- General --- 1. Removed replay zoom when moving analog stick left/right. 2. Replays still 30fps for most angles.

A poor game, poor port, and the controls are terrible. When climbing a fence, you NEVER know if he will vault over it entirely, or climb onto it. This can get you killed and stuck in places you didn't want to be - you just wanted to climb onto the ledge. Suggestion - let us walk off edges and have climb only climb, not vault. Swoop only activates when releasing the key, not on pressing it. It's clunky and annoying. When faced with a chest of drawers, instead of being happy, you'll say "oh, no", because now you have to watch 4 annoying cutscenes where the camera jerks around, not even returning you to its starting position. When you crouch the Field of View zooms in making it painful to play. Imagine playing while looking through a magnifying glass. Sometimes it blocks you from walking off a ledge, unless you're running, so you have to press a key to drop down, but sometimes it will drop you when you didn't expect it. Have fun with that. ~ From a big fan of Thief 1/2/3, Splinter Cell 1/2/3, Dishonored, and even the stealth elements of Batman: AC. This game is not in the same league.

The Field of View makes the game unplayable. We need a simple FoV setting in the options somewhere. It would take less than an hour for one programmer to implement.

FIFA 12 is a step backward that allows PES to catch up slightly. They should call it FIFA 12: Online, because the offline game is a terrible experience. Tackling is terrible, with the CPU cheating to beat you. Go into replay mode and you'll see the CPU's animation firing off the same time you make the tackle. It's near impossible to take someone down with a slide tackle. The new collision engine just ignores them. There are still only a few ways to score. Running up the box line then Finesse shooting is still the easiest way. The heading system is awful. They had it perfect in 2010 with regard to who wins the header. When you do get an opportunity the CPU will block your shot 90 percent of the time. All the games play the same, with both teams passing to the edge of the box within 2 seconds, then passing like Barca around the box until a player finds space. Counter attacks are impossible because of the sluggishness of the players when recieving a pass. Truly boring offline gameplay even after mastering Tactical Defending. FIFA needs a new development team.

If you like Hitman, buy this game. The gameplay is similar, and the graphics are better than Blood Money, but it also inherits some of it's problems. It's clunky and slow to pick up dead bodies, with no drag option, and the camera control disappears during the animation. Another issue is that when you raise the alarm, you might aswell reload a previous save. There doesn't seem to by any way to recover or turn off the alarm. The AI can all see through walls to where you are and just run and shoot you, not matter what disguise you are in. The levels are large and sometimes have expanding objectives, but there are only 7 missions, and the first one is probably a little too difficult and should've been the 2nd/3rd. Overall it's a must-buy if you like Splinter Cell and Hitman.

Overall, a weak game with the same basic problems. When in possession with an AMC, your strikers will rarely make any runs at all. FIFA fixed this with L1/LB to force a run, but PES still lacks this. When at the side of the box ready to cross, your strikers will not get to the penalty area, instead, they stand on the edge of the box. Sometimes they will even run backwards when they are in a good position. When you do a low cross to your strikers, and it heads straight to their feet for a tap-in, the cursor often won't select them, so they just watch it go past, even when you're pressing shoot. When closing down with X, your player will often not even attempt a tackle and just let a player run past them. None of your players are able to control the ball quickly, or do anything with any finesse. It's very clunky and slow. The classic "Wide" camera view has a terrible swing to it, which is unadjustable like in previous PES's, and there are no good replay cameras. None of them give you the freedom to create your own angles/zooms like in FIFA and earlier PES's. Making subs and choosing a team lineup is a nightmare. It gives you a PC-style arrow to guide around, and you have to press L1/R1 just to see what positions they play in, which hides the circle which shows if they make the bench or not, and comparing players requires a press of Triangle, and you can't flick quickly to other players. It always changes up your substitutes, forcing a GK in, so you have to adjust it every time. PES is not a simulation of football like FIFA tries to be. It is a seperate entity all of its own. If you treat it as such, there are parts you will enjoy.â

Truly an awful boxing game. When you come up against difficult opponents, it becomes a counter-punching spamfest. Almost every decent punch you throw gets blocked and then you get whacked. The game also runs at 200mph making it impossible to judge your own counters. It's an unrealistic, cartoon boxing game.

This is the first PC FIFA with "next gen" graphics. It's basically FIFA 10 360/PS3 ported to PC and branded as FIFA 11. This is not a bad thing, because every previous PC FIFA had PS2 graphics and gameplay. A 360 controller for your PC is a definite. Playing with a keyboard will limit you. You can play Multiplayer Be A Pro 5v5, Teams 5v5, or Head to Head 1v1. At peak time there are 6000+ people searching for matches (as of 25th March 2011). At later times there are still usually 400-600. You can adjust graphic settings like Resolution/Rendering Quality/MSAA/Vsync. Taichoojack and spartan2600 don't have a clue what they are talking about. Click the huge Game Settings button on the startup window.

The first game is one of the best RPG's you will ever play, but the sequel is a massive step backwards with a lot of pointless changes for the worse. One pointless change is the firing of weapons. It's now a case of holding down shoot and spraying until you need to reload. Your weapon will never overheat and your accuracy never affected. They've listened to complains about the inventory in ME1, but instead of fixing it, they've removed it entirely. They have turned Mass Effect into a mindless action shooter like Gears of War. Steer clear.

The gameplay's terrible. Drop of a 1ft ledge and your guy will delay on the ground for a second. Swing a weapon and your guy will delay for a second. Change clothes and your guy will delay for 5+ seconds. There's also friendly fire which makes fighting zombies with an NPC near impossible. The camera during strong attacks snaps away completely disorientating you. They should've made their animation system more fluid and responsive, but as is, it feels like a game from the 90's. It's clunky and horrible, and not worth full price. The only good thing is the combo weapons and the environmental graphics.
