All In The Family proves that groundbreaking television is not limited by series like The Sopranos or Game of Thrones. Approaching issues such as racism, sexism, the holocaust and even the Vietnam War in such a discomfortable, yet familiar, way, this tv show produced by Norman Lear proves itself as something welcoming, funny, smart and, foremost, revolutionary.

It's hard to tell what this series aims to be in the first few episodes. You'd probably get yourself wondering if this is just another generic work on imperfect justice. By the end of the season, though, you find yourself confronted with something unlike anything else on TV. It surpasses the simplicity of "guilty or not guilty" and explores an important aspect of the human condition and the value of life itself. Even though it sometimes lacks depht, it's moving and I sure am excited to see where this is going.
