Very good. A lot of possibilities, even if some are miss (need a little more weapons, and tactical actions). Multiplayer is non-existent too, it's very disappointing. But the solo is huge ! A hundred of unique missions plus a mission generator, and a complete editor to do it yourself. 3 campaigns, cool but not enough taking, poor scenario but attaching customizable team of 10 SWAT. I love it ! It fell me missing again the perfect SWAT series, mainly the third and the fourth... Try them if you can, on GOG you can vote for in the wishlist. :)

FUN A lot of fun in this game. Just CRAZY. Really. There is no other one like this one. I love it because of the huge gameplay, full of surprises, impossible to understand without take it and torn it apart during two weeks, night and days. The wiki is very helpful, as the tuto everywhere on internet (youtube, wiki, blogs). Losing is fun! DF is VERY fun. :)

I am on a late 2011 Macbook Pro, I am playing a lot of strategy games, without a single problem. This one doesn't work! Graphics in low or high change nothing, a friend of mine tell me that the reason of the very huge lag of the play is because the studio (Uber), has chosen to "stream" this game from their servers, which are weak and dumb. Too bad.

DW is instantly marvelous. The micro-management is incredible, you really feel the power in your hands, and you lead the fate ****. Background is correct. Hard to play it is very FUN (in a Dwarf Fortress means ahah). You could design your own ships! BUT : Graphisms are in 2D (however it is certainly better for your computer). And some gameplay features are not perfect (the beginning in dark ages is too fast, space creatures too weaks). THE 4X, until DW 2 is coming! ;)
