After one hour I have refunded the game. PC version has DENUVO DRM and MICROTRANSACTIONS both awful decisions. They delayed this game 3 months to supposedly polish the parkour system, implying that it had been changed compared to previous entries when it is just as clunky as always if not worse. The movement feels so on rails like I'm not allowed to get creative. Even though you're in a 3D space it feels so restrictive like you're only allowed to follow the game's predetermined paths. Imagine a game with a jump button and free movement like, you know, most other games .Then they said from the beginning that the game would be shorter. On paper the game is shorter than previous entries but according to other reviews you're still looking at ~40 hours of playtime where roughly 80% is allegedly open-world bloat just as it has always been. If you can't tell a compelling story that draws me in for 40 hours, then just don't and make the game shorter. I really don't see the issue with this. They tried incredibly hard to sell this to people as something new for the franchise but the released product doesn't deliver on any of their marketing points. My biggest gripe though is with the gameplay. I feel bad for the artists and musicians who pour their blood, sweat and tears into these games only for the gameplay designers to just lean back and go "Same as last time? Alright". The combat looks and feels boring and repetitive and paired with a clunky, hard to control parkour system, it just feels bad to play. Every single entry in this series feels the same and there's zero innovation to be found in any of its systems. Everything that is here has been done better in other games, so simply copying other games' mechanics and then neither innovating on them nor polishing them is sadly what we've come to expect from AC games. In a way, Ubisoft really never stopped making Far Cry games. Yasuke also was a very bad call as he just does not fit this setting (from a gameplay perspective) and I have no idea what these devs were thinking dropping an absolute unit of a man who is slow and heavy as a playable character into an AC game. He is completely overpowered and just walks through enemies with ease while also being unable to engage with any of AC's interesting game mechanics. No climbing, he falls off of ropes because they can't hold his weight, etc. . Your job with him is to just walk into enemies and slaughter them. I don't care about historical accuracy or anything like that - he just feels bad to play.I really like the idea of Naoe though. Playing an underpowered character that is fast and agile is a good idea and the new stealth mechanics like crawling and being able to hide in shadows are a step forward. Instead of trying to do everything, the developers should focus on the core of what they want to achieve. On a technical level there's little to complain about - for me at least. 10700K, 32Gb Ram and a 5070Ti and the game runs at smooth with all very high settings. I would have liked a film grain toggle though as some parts of the screen can look very ugly with it enabled. Also the cutscenes have a 30 fps lock (why on earth?) and I couldn't find a toggle
Sloppy and half-baked game with many bugs. Mutants are exclusively exist to waste your resources, dropping nothing. **** in particular are cartoonishly, to the point where I am almost positive there is a bug with damage falloff, or they're invincible past a certain distance / when cloaked. You'd think the devs would have taken anything besides the awful AK reload from the years and years of popular mods.- Spawning seems bugged and it's awfully anticlimatic to gameplay. I jumped into a warehouse, for example, and fought 2 ****. Then an emission hit, finished, and another **** spawned out of thin air. Then I left the warehouse, and 2 *more* **** spawned outside coming from nowhere. I am already tired of fighting them and I doubt I'm even 20% of the way through the game. Enemies also frequently spawn in response to me looting a stash, so it feels VERY artificia. You don't need to sleep, despite being able to sleep and pass time to skip night time. Nor is there a thirst mechanic, and yet we need to eat. Why one and not all three? You need to basically shove your character into somebody's nose in order to speak to them. It feels really silly getting skin-licking close to someone to start a conversation.- No reputation system. Doesn't seem like there's much of a faction system either, but I'm not done with the game yet so I'm still uncertain.- Most quests seem to have a be-a- option that rewards you with valuable items, and a be-a-good-person option that gives you significantly less stuff (or nothing) and the feeling that you helped an artificial person. I have yet to be rewarded for being a good person comparably to murder-hoboing my way across the zone, and while that may be the point - from a gameplay perspective it is really stupid. Overall, the game is less mechanically dense than the original Stalker, and has SIGNIFICANTLY more running in empty spaces with enemies randomly spawning either in front of or behind you this is disappointing. AI still have infinite ammo and can't path worth a damn (but have perfect grenade tossing and either machine-precise accuracy or drunken mag-dumping into nothing accuracy with nothing in between) and it's really hard to not make comparisons to a modding community that has enhanced even the simplicity of the original game with more depth than the main studio has. The game is a mess i can not recommend this.
Shallow MMO combat system in a single player game (this feels like a multiplayer game sometimes) with a dumb plot written by school kids (?) A completely forgettable game. Baldurs Gate 3 is a far better RPG than this.
So far its Meh no ultra wide support no FOV slider in 2024? A tiny campaign with only 6 missions and all weapons feel the same and they ask you to pay them $60 for this? Give me a break! !! Absolutely junk controls right out of the gate, had to remap pretty much all of them to make it remotely passable, middle mouse to aim down sights and two buttons for parry and dodge feels like a console game sometimes
Generic FPS based on mindless shooting with a barebones plot. Nothing new to the genre. The maps are good but the gameplay is very repetitive and the story is forgettable. After playing 2-3 stages you almost do the same things you just shoot everything you see on screen try to sneak sometimes and that's all about this game...
Garbage game trying to please dark souls try-hards but even they don't like it. Game is generic you fight the same sponge enemies in soulless environments bleh.
1) Micromanagement is crazy in this game you have been warned If you are not fan of micromanagement don't even bother buying this 2) Enemy factions getting constant reinforcements just to make the game feel "competitive" such a cheap and lame game design 3) Your units don't know how to shoot in this game they spend all their bullets on targets with little accuracy feels like you have to command a group of useless people and you expect with some luck to hit their targets 3) Supply, manage, repeat again and again and again so tired of having to babysit every unit 4) It's a niche title trying to be hard for the sake of feeling hard developers want to please Dark souls fanboys. I prefer playing real RTS games
Elden Ring DLC Is boring, overhyped, overrated TRASH. You can tell that the game was basically made for a console. The open world feels empty, the style is hideous, Lore/story is badly written and doesn't make sense, the PC port is unpolished and badly optimised. Enemies killing you with only 2 hits you must be a masochist to enjoy it. Probably this is the worse open world game that i have ever played. Fanboys of this game streaming this because it's trending and making fake reaction content to steal more and more of your time and money, and they don't give a **** about a good game design. If you disagree with the fanboys they will only scream to you something like "gid good" or "skill issue" or some other stupid line. What a waste of time and money what an insult to their own legacy. Save your money for a better game.
AWFUL!! All game characters look like plastic toys taken from a kids tv show. I am not 5 years old anymore to enjoy this trash. Game is a money grabbing scam and the graphics are so cartoony and dumb looks pathetic. Treating all your costumers as underage kids and try to exploit them with every chance. Blizzard and its fanboys are cancer
1) Cash grab 2) Denuvo DRM that keeps track of your activity, and the developer is treating all gamers as potential pirates 3) Combat is a mess you feel like you have barely any control when compared to the other games 4) Path finding and AI are bad 5) Short campaign with only 13 missions and awful story that has nothing memorable to tell. Keep your money for Homeworld Remastered Collection previous games are far superior.
In one word AWFUL where to start. The game is soulless without any story, characters or a real lore. You're just getting resources to unlock the next tier of resources to unlock the next tier of resources, just for your items to decay. Graphics are dated with cartoony animations and the actual ARPG gameplay loop is just not fun enough to justify all the hassle. Overall this is just a very repetitive game made for coop junkies and it's not fun or deep.
Boring co-op game. No plot, no quests it's not clear what you have to do just shallow shooting and surviving, NPCs are dumb and you basically have to play with other fools from the web. Feels like playing Fortnite basically it's made for GenZ internet idiots that want to compete with their so called "friends". It's a game about competition at the end and nothing more than that. Disappointing it's getting over-scored by russians.
Worse than Zero Dawn in some ways. The first game had a better designed map more interesting characters and everything was just more straightforward and simple. Now in this game Alloy has suddenly a chubby face (not sure why they changed her face for no reason probably a WOKE decision from this company) and in this sequel they seem to try to copy some combat parts from Elden Ring from FromSoftware (yuck). I hate all the pretentious unrealistic try-hard combat in games where you have to fight 10 robots at the same time attacking you from all sides having to press some dodge button every single time and at the same time you have create more arrows in the middle of the combat because according to some weird game limitation you can only carry 10 arrows for each bow. This sequel feels so shallow and so childish for me and with some crazy unrealistic gameplay elements becomes unappealing fast and i just don't want to keep playing it anymore. She is supposedly to be a human clone in the game and not a superwoman that can do everything. Controls are also now WORSE you can tell that they were made for a gamepad using keyboard and mouse makes movements extremely imprecise, jumping, gliding and all those maneuvers are a complete pain to execute they were made all made with a joystick precision and there are so many buttons to press just to use a simple function. In this sequel you also have a bigget map but with spawning robot areas close to each other with random robots always try get in your way when you go for explorations and missions they were made as obstacles just to get in your way. To kill a machine, you need to spend far more arrows (even against weak spots) compared to the first game and the melee combat is far weaker and using 3 or 4 combos is now mandatory to kill enemies effectively. Almost every single machine in this game has a ranged attack in this sequel and they always run to your face and just throw their bodies on you like kamikaze when this happen they knock you to the ground every time. Aloy's constant backseating and telling the player what to do should be an accessibility setting she doesn't stop talking to herself like a weirdo. It's frustrating when you can't figure stuff out on your own. Side quests are a chore and all of them have to do with helping stupid tribes in the game. The skill tree being uninteresting it opens some extra attacks but most of them at the cost of wasting more ammo, Upgrading your equipment being needlessly grindy searching for 500 (or more) materials and robots parts every time just to upgrade a bow or an armour. Everything now requires a lot more resources compared to the previous game the grind is crazy. The main story line is also nothing that memorable it's mostly predictable from the start to finish (not going to spoil it)
Very poor combat system. You can't command your units you just throw them in battle with a plan and the only thing you can do is watch a cinematic with your units and wait to see if they lose the battle or not. They promised for a big patch that adds more battle strategies etc we will see. The combat system in this game is so poor and ill conceived that feels like an afterthought. Also the game universe feels souless from the single player perspective. The first game had more details about factions and felt more unique and interesting
Live service trash plus bugs and some terrible balancing. You will see MMO fanatics giving scores 10 and 9 which is laughable. Community in this game (mostly TikTok brainless individuals) cares mostly about socializing with their fake friends in this online game world than the game itself...
Live service garbage. Demands online connection even for playing single player (Always-online DRM). Abysmal story with mostly fetch quests, boring and frustrating gameplay but according to Ubisoft the most important thing is that you can play with friends from the web just like every mediocre co-op game out there. According to Ubisoft playing with others from web is the only thing that should matter to you anyway. Perfect game for the average TikTok user with a two-digit IQ as for anyone else just stay away.
Another Dark Souls dumb clone and this one is extremely overrated from fanboys and paid reviewers for the wrong reasons. The game is dull, repetitive with a barebones story. They even added intrusive DRM Denuvo on top of their game (because evil pirates will crack our game and play for free LOL greedy *****). Seriously aren't people tired of this trash formula with clunky combat mechanics that comes from consoles. It's made from a greedy dev that tries to copy-paste Dark Souls and by adding Denuvo means that this is actually a cash grab...
The mood, gameplay, and character progression are all very good. It truly feels like an RPG in the W40K universe, and it is nice to explore it as someone with political power. The graphics are passable and the soundtrack is fitting excellent. It's not perfect, but so far I think it's well worth the price tag. Only problem the game suffers from bugs
A rough diamond with technical issues and some weird gameplay choices but also the best Robocop game i have ever played. A faithful adaption of the 90's movies with all actors from the films and a very accurate representation of a dystopian Detroit with light cyberpunk elements. If it didn't have technical problems this would be one of the greatest story wise single player FPS games i enjoyed it despite its problems
Great game that truly test your skills and having an interesting cyberpunk story to tell. Much better than the first game that felt like a generic arena game
SCORE 1 BECAUSE FANBOYS GIVE SCORE 10 TO THIS ABOMINATION !!! A remade of a bad game that only brainless Dark souls fanboys would probably appreciate and no one else in the gaming community. Masochistic gameplay with sponge enemies. If you are looking for a decent characters/story RPG sorry but you should look somewhere. Graphics are nothing special textures feel flat most of the time.
Masochistic surviving gameplay you need a big amount of iron not only to build things but also to keep your hull from deteriorating or else it's game over. Who in the right mind thought these outrageous ideas are fun? In every system that you travel your hull becomes smaller and smaller and you need a crazy amount of Iron not only to survive but also to build things !! Even during planets exploration and missions later in the game your need again an amount of iron for a good outcome or else you get mostly failure messages !! It's sad as the game looks pretty but the gameplay is not fun and crazy. It's plain masochist always asking you for huge amounts of resources. This is one of the worse management games i have ever played it's outright unfair feels more like a survivor game than a strategy title.
Meh game made for console peasants and Soul-like tryhards. Dated graphics from the 2010 era with bland textures and poor lighting. There is no real story or any interesting characters. All random missions working for various factions the plot is barebones and poorly made you don't even understand what is going and probably doesn't matter. Maps are all average sized with invisible walls it's so annoying. All enemies are weak with a dumb AI only final Bosses are competitive with a huge life bar, most of the weapons are weak against them except lasers it feels impossible to win unless if you follow a certain strategy. Feels like hard work at the end and not something made to entertain. Game is full of restrictions and it's so bland. I can tell this was made for the GenZ tryhards it's very gamepad oriented and not that friendly with keyboard and mouse.
Don't understand IGN saying that this game deserves score 9.0 do they only care playing games for multiplayer ?? Dune the novel is full of stories and complicated characters and lore and this game has nothing of that. It's missing a proper campaign/story mode with missions there is only a "conquest mode" basically a battle of skirmishes in a map where you do the same battles and economic choices . Overall gets boring and very repetitive it's barebones. Also, diplomacy feels lackluster with only basic choices and as for the Tech tree there is nothing really worthwhile to invest just few upgrades. Feels like a poor early access game made for multiplayer i am very disappointed.
Pretty good game actually a great 4x strategy game without diplomacy and with all latest DLCs and patches this is very entertaining indeed only thing lacking are diplomacy options but in the Warhammer 40,000 Universe exists only war. It's understandable of why the Developers chose to stay true with the lore and not turn this into another Civilization type of game.
Not a good game overall this is a poorly made Dark Souls rip-off with guns and made for consoles in mind. Runs poorly on PC despite using the latest UE5 engine the textures look bland and dated. Has terrible generic story with woke characters, oriented for co-op the solo mode is a poor experience, mechanically demanding yet hitboxes and timings are just straight up inconsistent. Lifeless procedurally generated environments with only 2 boring types of unoriginal enemies in each world. Game only attracts a small segment of try-hard players coming from the console community everyone else don't like it and feels so generic, Overpriced and not recommended for PC
One of the very few quality games of 2023. No microtransactions, no battlespass, no awful multiplayer for brainless Tik-Tok / Forthnite fanboys. Just pure old school fun a game with incredible storytelling and thousands of choices in a spectacular game worth every penny if you are a CRPG fan and a scope that's only rivaled by very few other games, if any nothing short of a revelation in these dark days of gaming.
Calling it average is an overstatement. Makes the impression that only a Tik-Tok fanboy would enjoy playing it. Feels so cheap and shallow even the story is dumb and nothing serious feels like watching a B-movie comedy. Everything is so linear and for a horror game it's not scary at all even the zombies look dumb. What a waste of money go play something else
One of the worse and craziest hard games. It feels more like a puzzle game with lucky shots and not a real tactics game. Upgrades are useless even if you gather a big amount of money and buy the best upgrades the enemies are always stronger and always at bigger numbers. This is the type of game made for try-hards it's for people that love of what i call playing with a masochistic gameplay the kind of people that don't bother losing even by the weakest enemy. It's not fun at all it's just feels like hard work so no thanks
In short ALWAYS ONLINE CANCER (or a "service as a game" if you like to call it) overrated by the so-called pro reviews and Blizzard fanboys. Lag issues and other travesty even in single player the game feels soulless and it's boring if you expect a worthy Diablo 2 sequel you will be very disappointed. The Grid and repetitive elements make the game a drag and the story is not even as interesting as early Diablo games. I got bored after several hours you can tell that this game is made out of greed at the end it's only about money and Blizzard does not care because they know fanboys will still buy whatever garbage they throw to them
Awful console port with bad optimization and DENUVO DRM on top of that which is suspiciously not mentioned in the official Steam page (Typical EA practices). Feels like the game was prematurely released because EA wanted money fast. Even with an expensive top graphic card based on RTX 4090 you get stutter all the time and other performance **** a game that costs $70 this is unacceptable and a scam. As about the gameplay it's nothing revolutionary the same arcadish fighting game we have seen 10000 times that other games had done better and the story has some good moments, but it's nothing memorable.
Another shallow game with Denuvo DRM anti-tamper garbage the game suffers from performance issues because of this DRM junk. As about the game itself it's an insult to Harry Potter universe side quests are all boring and feel like a chore as for the main story is actually a short experience and not something that J. K. Rowlings will ever write forget any replayability. As about the open world approach, forget about random encounters, forget about finding something unique, forget about random fun stuff. The world is full of boring activities and boring NPCs with similar faces (Ubisoft style).
Another Denuvo DRM infested game extremely subpar from what was advertised. The overall production quality is very mediocre. The art is bland and cartoon-ish. The sound is weak and un-immersive. The game is zoomed in so much and you can't zoom out (despite hundreds of community members requesting it). The lobby is a joke (you can't even host a comp stomp and label it as such, and no chat in lobbies). AI pathing is broken. Balance is pre-alpha. Unit abilities do not compliment each other or feel well thought out.
Don't listen to so-called professionals and Sony fanboys. This game is a monotonous and boring slog killing the same enemies again and again and again and starting from the start if you die. It's trying hard to be another Dark Souls wannabe with some rogue like elements. Typical new age garbage completely soulless tries hard to be "competitive" with overpowered enemies and giving you weak weaponry to fight them. The story is bare-bones and the main character is awful also from the technical perspective suffers from stutter issues
The developers preferred wasting money to add DENUVO DRM than perfecting their game, they sure are greedy. Where to start the animations are pretty bad, walking animations look stiff and slidey as the move speed of the characters dosnt match the leg movement speed. Also some textures look bad and pixelated. Most of the time characters theyre speaking during cutscenes there is zero body language, just stiffly standing there conversing. Is this a 2023 game title or a game made in 2008 it makes me **** the writing at times is just cringeworthy and characters mostly wishing they would be quiet. The gameplay is nothing special, it's casual don't expect any real challenge. Overall the game was short as hell too, took me around 8 hours to finish. Don't waste you money
1) Denuvo Malware checked 2) Overpriced 79 Euros checked 3) Empty world fighting the same bullet sponge enemies checked, 4) Woke annoying character checked 5) Repetitive combat and most enemies are stupid 6) Forgettable story checked,...Square enix is a greedy and awful company and this is one of the worst games ever released
What a trashy unbalanced game you only have a few soldiers (only 5 squads most of the time) and you have to fight huge armies that spawn out of thin air so many stupid limitations and the micromanagement is just horrible. Gameplay reminds me of some old games from 1995, but this is far worse and the lacking of tactical pause, and you can't manually save makes everything a pain. Completely unplayable after a mission where the game throws veteran armies against you in a timely manner, and you have to defend a tree. Horrible gameplay made for masochists.
Terrible handling model all cars feel like driving a bucket with wheels and what's with all the unnecessary cartoony animations they even pop-up during gameplay they are very annoying, Feels like this game was made for 12-year-old kids so childish and completely out of reality. NFS IS TRULY DEAD uninstalled and refunded. Don't waste your money for this.
Welcome to THE STUTTERING PROTOCOL with Denuvo DRM what a sad surprise. Besides the failed technical aspect of the game with bad optimization and stuttering and shady DRM there are also more concerning problems. The story feels bare-bones and pretty much every cut scene available was already in the trailers. Combat gets boring, and melee combat is clunky plus the game isn't scary as advertised. Disappointed and REFUNDED.
It's a standard triple A title of this age ; - Horrendous stutters (Denuvo DRM probably has to do something about that) - Microtransactions in a Single player game yes I am not kidding!! They are so greedy for more money. - Consistent glaring visual bugs. the character models look like plastic toys, clothes look like cheap plastic and everything else just look off. Graphically, this looks like an early 2010 game. -The card system swings between either meh or tiresome as the game would be better without them in my opinion. - I wonder is the story written from a teenager, feels stupid and childish sometimes - The downtime in the hub can just **** up so much of the playtime if i wanted a social type of game i would buy The Sims
THEY EVEN USE DENUVO MALWARE DRM FOR THIS DISNEYFIED ABOMINATION OF BATMAN'S UNIVERSE (We dOn't wAnt peOplE plAy thIs fOr frEe duh). The audacity of greedy companies trying to sell this unoptimized woke ******** game and trying to milk people in every way possible. I wish Warner Bros Montreal gets bankrupt soon.
Graphics: 4/10 Very poor like watching a cheap cartoon show this looks almost worse from previous games. There are no details, it's full of low polygon animations Gameplay: 7/10 Puzzles felt ok for being hard mode altho I haven't played it in casual mode so can't measure it. Story.: 3/10: Just MEH nothing memorable i expected more from the way the story was being told. It left me with a weird sense of disappointment and tiredness.
Horrible hack and slash game with roguelite elements don't waste your money. 1) Very poor animations for 2022 standards 2) Clunky combat no fun at all and if you die you have to play the level from the start!!! 3) Bugs bugs bugs and more annoying bugs 3) Barebones story mostly a repetitve shooter 4) Unable to progress due to softlocking
It's a bit rough on the edges at first but with the necessary changes at settings this is an excellent Ace of Combat type of game with an interesting post-apocalyptic campaign after an ecological disaster and a conquest mode. Overall a great work from an indie developer, hope they release a sequel in the future.
Feels like a 90s sidescrolling action-platformer from the snes and genesis days injected with features like upgrades and exploration rewards that we enjoy in modern games. The core gameplay loop is solid and the plop has genuinely interesting, however the game can feel rather short and just when the level design really starts getting interesting, the game is over. I look forward to see where the team and this game are going, as it stands now I would say the game is worth a play
