With a good script, Lee can make greatness. Da 5 Bloods is not a good script. The characters and plot are not believable, there is zero subtext. If you are able to suspend disbelief for longer than 15 minutes into this, more power to you. I could not, and still I sludged through the entire thing, hoping to find a reason for some of the more positive reviews. Sadly, I could not.
