This game is fantastic. People have been lamenting the fact that you can't die, which is true, yet also completely irrelevant, as this is by no means a traditional platformer. Rather than from mastering difficult platforming sections or boss battles, its difficulty comes from exploring every nook and cranny of these worlds so that you may uncover all the creature secrets. An endeavour that, without guides or buying all the hints in-game, will surely take some time. It's abundantly fun, creative, and yet another homerun for the Nintendo Switch 2.

A true masterpiece. Unique story and setting, excellent facial animations, relatable characters, beautiful environments, and simply grandiose. Just play it, you won't regret it. You may however struggle to find something to play after.

Bloomtown: A Different Story

Bloomtown gets the vibe it's going for right: it's a cozy JRPG with a superb 1960s Americana small-town vibe, and while it could on occasion explain some of its mechanics a little better, it's overall easy enough (especially on normal settings) for it not to matter, while still consistently fun to play. Exploring the town and friendships by day is just as fun as fighting demons at night, really transporting you back into a simpler time and what it feels like to be a kid. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves JRPGs, and the Persona series in particular as it borrows quite heavily from these games.

Game itself is great but please, please, please, fix the performance on the PS4 devs. In the meantime, I'd advise everyone to buy the PC version.

This game is brilliant. I love all the kingdoms, the characters, and mostly the gameplay. Building your kingdom is fun, so is finding & recruiting new citizens, helping people out, going into battle to level up or fight squirmishes, exploration is plenty & engaging, and the main story just makes me smile. I'm currently on chapter 8 & am spending a lot of my time doing side quests now just because I don't want it to end too soon :) If you like JRPGs you'll love it I think. It's got so many different parts and they blend together beautifully.
