What an annoying piece of **** ****. If I were to summarize this game in a few sentences: You have to hurry up so the fuel will not run out, but watch out for traps. At the same time, you have to slow down so the beast doesn't hear you. You have to carry a bunch of tools and items to progress and deal with obstacles, yet you have no space in the inventory, so you move back and forth. The beast is as sensitive as a wman during her period and waits a long time in the way of your destination to f you up.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon
7
User ScoreRockerKR
Jun 28, 2026
Tainted Grail is a worthy imitator of The Elder Scrolls series. It contains the elements that the TES series is loved for: a lot of terrain to travel and many places to discover. There are many crucial mechanics to develop and diverse missions to complete. The developers’ approach to the plot gives players many moral dilemmas. As we progress through the story, we encounter consecutive choices whose results are hard to predict. Moreover, there are rarely any simple solutions. The problems we face are usually complex, and neither side is flawless. This creates a constant feeling of uncertainty about our decisions and difficulty in supporting any one side. Learning combat is pleasant and satisfying.Unfortunately, there are major and minor bugs and unpolished elements common throughout the game — from missions, NPC hitboxes, and missing voice files to quests full of potential that end suddenly without resolving the main case, among many others. All of this causes the player to lose immersion and interest. Overall, it’s a good production. I wish to see another developed piece.

Cool, satisfying combat, great map design, diverse terrain, beautiful graphics. A nice set of different weapons with special attacks and magic spells to choose from. In Wuchang there is a cool, non-standard mechanic called Skyborn Might which upgrades basic abilities or lets the player use spells. There is a huge difficulty spike between common enemies you meet along the path and the bosses. The variety of enemies and bosses is substantial. In my opinion the best part of the game is discovering new areas. Unfortunately missions crucial for the story ending - are easy to miss. However, the developers didn't put much effort into to the plot – just like in other soulslikes. Overall, Wuchang's gameplay was engaging.

Forspoken

User ScoreRockerKR
Nov 18, 2025
Forspoken is a title made for players who love exploring vast landscapes, discovering new structures, and encountering new types of enemies. The world is enormous and divided into several biomes, each with its own unique environment and climate. The map design is compelling, filled with natural wonders that make traveling across the land and finding new locations genuinely enjoyable. The gameplay is equally impressive. The protagonist has access to a wide range of abilities that make her incredibly fast and agile. On top of that, the developers enhanced movement with stylish acrobatics, giving exploration a dynamic and fluid feel. But the absolute highlight of the game is its magic system. At the beginning, the player starts with Earth magic. As you gain experience, you can unlock new spells—ranging from projectile attacks to AoE abilities and crowd control. As the game progresses, the protagonist unlocks three additional magic sets, each offering a unique playstyle and its own strengths. Players can switch between them quickly to adapt to different enemies or simply to match their preferred approach during combat. However, the game does have shortcomings. Aside from the main storyline, side missions are almost nonexistent, and the same goes for side characters. Only the encounters with the Tantas feel meaningful and well-developed. The variety of enemies is also limited—many of them repeat across different biomes. Being a sandbox, the game is filled with points of interest, but many of them are copy-paste content. The main character also isn’t among the most liked personalities, though she does have some narrative reasons for her attitude. Overall, the core strengths of Forspoken lie in its exploration and the delightful magic you can wield during combat.

Cool, demanding action game that tests the player’s reaction time and ability to learn and adapt by using the environment and the right equipment to your advantage. Ghostrunner 2, just like the first installment, is extremely dynamic — staying in motion is key to surviving in areas full of enemies and using different weapons effectively. Another improvement is the skill tree, ultimate abilities, and three basic abilities that give the player freedom in choosing how to complete each map. This game surpasses its predecessor with the number of epic moments it contains. Riding the bike while avoiding obstacles, killing enemies mid-air, or jumping from one enemy to another without being touched feels awesome. This title was very invigorating to play.

This exceptional RPG-FPS immerses players in the intense realities of modern warfare, placing them on the front lines of conflict. The game’s atmosphere is highly engaging, effectively transporting players into the role of a soldier navigating present-day battlefields surrounded by cutting-edge technology and urban environments. The depiction of clashes in densely populated city centers, filled with civilians, highlights the complex and high-stakes decisions soldiers face. In a fraction of a second, players must distinguish between enemies and innocent bystanders, with the lives of their character, comrades, or civilians hanging in the balance. These moments underscore the stressful, demanding, and profoundly responsible nature of a soldier’s role. The game equips players with a diverse arsenal of rifles and special forces gear, enhancing the authenticity of the experience.More than just an outstanding shooter, this game offers a compelling, albeit slightly exaggerated, portrayal of the challenges faced by special forces operatives. It stands out as one of the few titles that effectively blends thrilling gameplay with a thought-provoking depiction of modern warfare.

The plot is decent, but the game lacks living characters beyond the protagonists and enemies. Every part of the town where the action takes place feels repetitive and visually similar. The sandbox is filled with monotonous activities, and even a simple mechanic like gaining experience is frustrating. Players must hunt ghosts, collect items from them, and then find specific locations to convert those items into experience points. Who thought this mechanic would enhance gameplay, especially in an action game like this? The variety of enemies is severely limited, and while players get a few magic spells and tools to fight, the overall gameplay feels highly repetitive.

The story centers on a special agent tasked with resolving a crisis involving machines that have unexpectedly switched to combat mode. Initially, he follows his superior’s orders without hesitation. However, after meeting key characters and receiving only vague, brief information from his boss, he grows suspicious and begins to distrust everyone around him. The narrative keeps players immersed in a constant sense of mystery, skillfully weaving in numerous understatements. As the plot progresses, darker secrets are gradually unveiled, adding depth and intrigue. Beyond the compelling story, the game’s primary strength lies in its dynamic combat system. The protagonist has access to a vast arsenal, including a variety of weapons, abilities, and attributes. The gameplay incorporates crafting mechanics, requiring players to gather materials to obtain additional ammunition. Since different enemies have unique weaknesses, players must strategically manage their equipment to succeed in battles.Overall, this is a highly enjoyable game that blends an engaging story with thrilling gameplay.

This is an excellent souls-like game inspired by the novel The Adventures of Pinocchio. The action unfolds across ten large, diverse, and creatively designed locations, each with its own unique atmosphere and distinct enemies. However, one drawback was the unbalanced progression system. This installment returns to its roots in terms of combat. The game, constantly, forces the player into a stealth approach, which is not only much easier but also downright overpowered compared to open combat, which lacks special abilities. The map is significantly smaller, and the story is much shorter than in previous entries, to which the developers have accustomed players. The areas outside towns feel empty and dull. The plot doesn’t surprise, as the goal remains the same as in previous games. However, it is still mysterious and somewhat engaging. Remnant is a game created with exceptional care. Its atmosphere is meticulously crafted to immerse players in a constant state of danger. The sound design enhances this feeling, with unsettling noises coming from every direction. Enemies can spawn unpredictably, even behind you, requiring players to remain ever vigilant. The game offers a variety of outstanding encounters and hidden lodges that reward curious adventurers with valuable treasures. There are many beautifully expansive locations to explore, but it's easy to get lost in the labyrinthine environments. Remnant also boasts a wide variety of enemies, bosses, weapons, and tools, adding diversity to combat. However, these items are often difficult to acquire, requiring significant grinding, which is one of the game's biggest drawbacks. Another notable issue is the design of certain bosses. Many feature unreactable attacks, deal massive damage, and have overwhelming endurance. When compared to the slow and fragile protagonist, these encounters can feel frustrating and unbalanced. In my opinion, enjoying the game without mods can be quite challenging due to these factors.

Flintlock is a combination of soulslike and action-adventure RPG. The game portrays the efforts of a sapper striving to save humanity from catastrophe. Her altruistic personality is clearly evident as she helps everyone she possibly can. The protagonist’s story is engaging, consistently drawing you to continue the journey to discover how it ends. You also have a supportive team that not only aids you but also relies on you. The combat system is well-designed, offering players a wide variety of weapons, armor, skills, and spells to create a personalized fighting style. One of the game’s standout features is the protagonist’s remarkable mobility, further enhanced by the ability to unlock numerous portals that enable short-distance teleportation. This feature significantly boosts the dynamics of gameplay, allowing for attacks on enemies from different angles and providing breathtaking aerial views of the game’s map. The map itself is large, intricate, and diverse enough to make exploration thoroughly enjoyable. Along the way, you’ll encounter a wide range of enemies that will require you to adjust your combat strategy. The only issue I encountered was the slightly chaotic camera control when choosing targets. Sometimes the reticle would jump around, selecting the wrong enemy, or when trying to detonate an explosive barrel next to a group of enemies, I ended up hitting only one of them instead. While the options menu includes settings to adjust camera behavior and target switching, these didn’t work as intended. Overall, the gameplay was highly enjoyable, and I wholeheartedly recommend the game.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II

User ScoreRockerKR
Nov 15, 2024
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a psychological thriller that explores the struggles of its protagonist, Senua, who suffers from schizophrenia. Set in a Norse-inspired world, the story follows Senua’s quest to save the lives of enslaved people. Throughout her journey, she battles the dark influence of her abusive father, who tormented her during her youth. Despite her remarkable skills and kind heart, Senua is constantly challenged by the voices in her head, which cast doubt on her abilities whenever she faces adversity. However, when she achieves success, those same voices shift to praise her efforts. Regardless of her victories, Senua is plagued by recurring doubts about whether she will prevail in the next challenge. A significant burden Senua carries is the curse that haunts her, which inadvertently causes tragedies among those she strives to help. These events inflict immense mental anguish on her, as her desire to save people often leads to catastrophic losses. Her heart repeatedly breaks under the weight of these unintended consequences, adding layers of depth and tragedy to her story. The overall plot is shrouded in mystery and maintains a gripping tension throughout. Gameplay is enriched by intricate puzzles and cinematic combat sequences. However, the game does have some drawbacks. Optimization is notably lacking; while I’ve seen stunning visuals showcased online, my seven-year-old GTX 1070 struggled to maintain 60 FPS at Full HD resolution. This forced me to lower both the resolution and graphic settings, which somewhat detracted from the experience.

Lords of the Fallen

User ScoreRockerKR
Oct 31, 2024
Lords of the Fallen presents a classic narrative of the fight between good and evil in a soulslike format. It stands out from its competitors with the unique mechanic of a hidden undead world called Umbral. In this world, distinct types of enemies continuously spawn, and actions taken there impact the realm of the living. The map is intricate and visually captivating, designed as a labyrinth with locked doors in the walls; reaching certain points unlocks shortcuts, allowing for freer movement. Combat is well-developed, offering players a variety of close- and long-range weapons and several types of magic spells. Unfortunately, during fights, the camera occasionally shifts to different enemies, which can be frustrating, and the option to disable automatic target-switching is ineffective. Enemy attacks have fair hitboxes, so dodging an attack genuinely avoids damage, unlike in Elden Ring. A drawback is the poor enemy level scaling, which diminishes the purpose of leveling up, as enemies in most areas scale to match your level, resulting in consistently similar damage output. Although the game includes a few different enemy types that appear repeatedly across locations, which feels somewhat lazy from the developer’s perspective. On the other hand there are also numerous unique bosses and mini-bosses with impressive designs. In my opinion, there are too many common enemies, and they deal too much damage, often forcing players to backtrack. This can become frustrating when it happens too frequently, causing players to lose interest. Side quests are easy to miss and challenging to track. Overall, it’s a demanding game that may not be suitable for everyone.

Jun 15, 2024
Dying Light 2 stands out primarily due to its continuous action, ensuring players are engaged without respite. The pace of the main campaign is tense, with an absorbing plot filled with surprises. Side missions are diverse, featuring interesting characters. Outside of these strengths, the game is a typical sandbox with repetitive activities, elevated to a new level of monotony through extensive copy-pasting. The parkour mechanics are exceptional, offering smooth and satisfying traversal. Weapon handling feels primitive, but it is complemented by hand-to-hand combat techniques, ranged weapons, explosives, and other tools that enhance combat's depth and tactical options. In my opinion, the most annoying aspects were the overly aggressive infected enemies that often manage to grab and scratch you when you try to run between them or fly low above them. This often led to the protagonist being brought down to low health. Another disadvantage was the prohibitively expensive blueprint updates that necessitated excessive grinding. Despite these drawbacks, overall, the game provided a pleasant experience.

Designers put a lot of effort to make corpses to behave natural. So aimining at specific part of body has impact of damage and visual effects. Variety of enemies with different strengths and capabilities force player to adjust weapons to be efficient. Another characteristic is constant danger and high pace.
