The Shape of Water4
Jan 5, 2018
I'm sorry but this movie is just not as good as people would make it out to be. There were some good parts but overall I'd say it's too stupid, unrealistic, and just overall bad. I could already tell what was going to happen at the end before the movie hit the halfway mark. The actors, while skilled, were held back the the horrendous script that was completely irrational. Maybe I just don't get it or something, but it seems like it's trying too hard. I think it deserves a four. I would definitely not see it again.

The Space Between Us1
Feb 15, 2017
Seriously, what a terrible movie. I saw The Space Between Us last night and every aspect of it was just laughable. The writing was terrible, the plot made no sense, and the acting was abysmal. You're supposed to believe that this Gardner kid is some sort of genius, and he's smart enough to hack into the internet to talk to this girl. However, he only seems to have access to old movies that people bring onto the settlement, and apparently he is too stupid to Google anything. When he gets on Earth he acts like a complete idiot to everyone he meets. His relationship with Tulsa just ends up being so cringe it's hard to watch. The plot "twists" are the most predictable things I could ever think of. This movie is a sad excuse of cinema. Don't waste your time.

David Brent: Life on the Road4
Feb 13, 2017
I re-watched The Office in preparation for this movie, and I must say it sadly falls short. The music isn't as funny as someone like Flight of Conchords, and David Brent isn't as funny as he was on The Office. There was so much potential for character development and some good humour, but the whole thing falls flat on its face. Overall, a waste **** opportunity, but still worth a watch if you are a fan of The Office U.K. and you like Ricky Gervais.
