SO SO SO SO MUCH FUN ! Top 5 most fun games I have ever played, so much to do, cool weapons, funny dialogue, interesting missions, awesome character customization, never a dull moment, once you get use to the controls the skating, jumping & navigation in general becomes second nature. I remember being blown away by this game when it came out, I ended up playing it twice & getting all the achievements at the time, I'd rather play this on repeat than the Halo's or Gears of Wars.

Combat is amazing & beautiful, other games should take notes. Instead of lame cutscenes to show off fighting they have them in real time as you're sparing, it's sick. Graphics are gorgeous with beautiful landscapes, the puzzles were easier this time around which isn't a bad thing, story wasn't as fulfilling as the first one & the lack of real boss fights also was disappointing. The fluid feel of movement & fighting was a huge upgrade over the 1st game, but story & overall the game felt less meaningful.

Infuriating controls & camera, sluggish to walk around & on top of that having annoying puzzles that make you constantly walk around make movement even more torturous. If you can get past the bad, there is good to be had, combat is decent & the story is interesting, beautiful graphics & interesting idea's throughout, some of them are just executed poorly.

I usually hate these types of games, but this game had so much to love, bunch of different combat abilities, varied enemies, clever platforming/puzzling, cute animals & sad stories all around. I only had trouble with 1 boss, & most of the in-world enemies are doable. I only have 2 complaints 1. The hidden stuff in this game is ridiculous; paths & collectables you would never find without the in-game marker you can buy with currency & 2. the insanely hard boss rush mode achievements which will keep you from 100%ing the game achievement wise.

Biggest complaint is that it's really short, 2nd would be lack of more bug variants, 3rd would be lack of cards/powers/abilities. Overall, a good start, hope to see more games or DLC's from this developer, good series premise.

This is a 1st Person platformer/shooter you're in "The Abyss" fighting your way out while meeting very interesting NPCs in an attempt to locate a god & bring him down, you dodge enemy attacks, return fire, platform your way through levels with several different ways to traverse, while listening to beautiful eerie music & moving through gorgeous gothic Victorian era surroundings. The atmosphere is interesting & otherworldly, the strangest game I've played vibe wise for sure, was almost like a throwback to the original Prey (2006) I loved that game & it still lives rent-free in my head, unique guns, unique enemies, unique environment, slammed together into a crazy story. Another thing worth mentioning is that CODEX entries you pick up are well written & an interesting easy read, I don't tend to read every scrap of paper I pick up in games, but I certainly did with this one. Overall impressive job, hope the company/developers do more like this & improve upon it.

May 25, 2026
One of the greatest monster catching games there is. Wish there was more Studio Ghibli cutscenes though, still a really great game, full of heart, fun filled adventure that is worthy of every second of your time. The difficulty spike at end game may annoy a few players, big boss battle is hard to get through, while rest of the game felt too easy at times. Taming rare creatures was a treat & the funny pun names was always exciting to see who you'd find next, also the option to choose which path for your monster to evolve into at the end of their level cycle is an amazing feature. Cities were pretty, characters were interesting, story was sad & meaningful, combat was a delight, I think it's awesome you battle alongside your companions & caught creatures instead of just making them do all the battling for you, more of sidekicks to assist you than standalone "tools".

Amazing game, almost perfect but fell short in a few areas, characters were mostly good, half the companions were interesting I wish there was more social events in the ship instead of repeating dozens of times, dialogue between you & the companions could have had more. A lot of the overall branching stories & missions could have been more interesting. Combat was good but I hardly used the companion abilities or the slowdown mode. Later on the weapons & armor stats became weird & hard to follow, once your skills are high & you're perked out the game goes from being somewhat difficult to way too easy, I assume they didn't want to do area scaling in case you wanted to skip side missions & only do the main quest line. Fun open world basically Fallout in Space. (I later found out it was made by same people that made the masterpiece Fallout New Vegas, which makes so much sense since the whole time I was playing, I kept saying this reminds me of Fallout.. but in space!)

Starts out strong & interesting, as the game goes on the puzzles get to the point where you start looking things up because they're too hard to figure out in a reasonable time. The 1st ACT was amazing & full of heart, I would loved if the game stayed that good throughout, I found the following acts less meaningful & less interesting, still overall a fun journey to piece together. Very simple puzzles,. It's nice that you don't have to stop & look things up like most puzzle games these days, but at the same time things could have been a little more challenging. Story was decent, but hard to follow at times. My biggest pet peeve is the lack of voice acting, I would have preferred to play in silence vs the annoying made-up language that was just distracting to hear when you're trying to read all the dialogue.

Never played a RE game before this, now I am a fan & will check out the rest of the series. This was the most intense & scary game I've played. The puzzles could have been harder, I ended up figuring out how to do & find most things before I was supposed to or even got the games hints via notes.., I'm not against easy puzzles, but I would have liked more of a challenge in that department, instead they made boss fights way harder than they had to be, I didn't beat a single boss on my 1st attempt, they all took multiple tries. The atmosphere, story & gameplay was all top tier though, I ended up playing it twice for both endings.

This game is basically perfect. You manage a crew of yourself on a ship in space, trying to outrun the sun, yes, you have a time limit, it's not a relaxing builder/manager, it's a survival game, don't let that deter you. It's fantastic, the game tells you how much time you have left so as long as you're paying attention & time managing properly you should have no problem not burning alive. Some of the most realistic dialogue & emotions you'll find in a videogame. Your goal is to manage your teams emotions & mental state while gathering materials for your ship & mission, while making necessary repairs to keep it moving to outrun the sun & return to earth. The different personalities make the game have high replay value, something I usually don't care about or like to do, but I ended up replaying this game 3 times to get all the achievements & experience all the different Alters. Replaying it introduced me to tons of new dialogue, more fun managing since I knew what I was doing the 2nd time around & a better overall experience than my 1st time playing. Highly recommend playing it at least twice.

Had a chance to be great, instead it's very mediocre. 1. Nothing is explained to you at all, & certain things aren't easy or straightforward for you to figure out how something works. 2. Combat is broken, if an enemy rams you, they can just keep rams you until you're dead, if you get stunned, GG you have to let them finish you off. 3. Buildings/gathering/management is awful, not only are the menus bad, but it's near impossible to keep track of what you have & wherever everything is, even the map doesn't show you what direction you're facing. Just everything feels half done & sloppy.

Builder/Gatherer with a twist, YOU ARE ON A TRAIN! Gathering materials is fun with grappling hook, but you also recruit cute little helpers who help you out on the train, including gathering stuff for you. There's also combat which is cool since you can customize & upgrade weapons to the way you'd like, however enemies are extremely repetitive, since there's less than 10 different ones... & half of them are just variations of ones that exist. The Arena side missions had potential but were wasted being the same thing over & over, they could have at least changed the bosses at different locations, arriving at depots & looting them was fun though & fighting enemy trains on the tracks was awesome, just wish there was more types of enemies to fight. I spent a little less than 50 hours in this game to get 100% & had a good time through the whole journey.

A horror game that actually gives you a good fright, it's very good at using sound effects to get inside your head & distract you, add in scary enemies that pop out at you while you're 2 hits away from dying & a creepy environment/atmosphere/visuals, you're in for a good time ;) Survival game that is extremely do-able, don't waste your food or heals, look on ground & open all crates, you'll get through it no problem. Combat was intense & satisfying; my only complaint would be certain boss fights not being straight forward on what you need to do. The story was amazing, basically you're in your own head, fighting your thoughts in demonic monster form, trying to get over your past love. Very intense stuff.

Could see this being fun with friends like when I watch VTUBERS player with each other on YouTube. But playing online with randoms, you either get games of people just insulting each other or nobody talking, which results in guessing who is imposter with no actual evidence to support theory, the actual detective work is hardly there, the most fun I had playing was in Hide n Seek mode not that actual game mode.

Since it's Double Fine, I expected another near perfect game like most of their work, but I was actually left disappointed with this one. Maybe it would have been more fun with a controller. But using the mouse to control the light was awful, combine that with the camera angle & trying to navigate the boat with WASD made things more annoying, didn't help that the ocean sections alone were the hardest to navigate & find the path/puzzles. Beautiful game, creative visuals & ideas, decent puzzles & navigation, cool silent story, but with the awful boat section which is almost half the game... mixed with bad mouse & keyboard controls it ruined the adventure for me.

For what it is, it's great. It's a fast FPS where you blast enemies to have a blast. I wanted more dialogue though; the retro anime style mixed with girls & cheesy lines was fun but not enough of it!!! A longer story & better boss fights would've made this game perfect.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage9
Mar 12, 2026
A real raw emotional story game that feels genuine. The camera recording aspect & making little movies with memories you film is fantastic even though the little snippets I recorded were mostly trash. You end up feeling bonded with all the amazing characters & are sad when the summer is over, the flashback aspect & current day premise was well done like you'd see in a high-end TV series. There could have been more done though, dialogue & delivery was odd sometimes, not enough time spent 1 on 1 with friends, & the fact that there's some "wrong" choices made me look up what to choose instead of playing naturally. Also, not sure what was with all the weird anti-hunting propaganda, I guess the writers don't know that deer hunting is actually good for deer & the environment? Or maybe they're showcasing how clueless teenagers are in their views, which would actually be genius, like all the kids protesting for silly causes in America & they have no clue what they're talking about.

I love story/puzzle games like this because they always have amusing dialogue that's an actual joy to read every word, the only bad thing about these games for me is I have such a hard time figuring out what to do next or what items to use, thankfully the majority of this game was pretty straightforward unlike other games in this genre I've played, but I still ended up having to look up guides for solutions 5 separate times which takes away from the journey. Overall, the other worldly wonderland mysterious vibes were all on point, the frogs were hilarious & the facial expressions of everyone were top notch including all the dialogue. The game is a bit on the short side, but the ending hinted at a DLC or sequel though which is exciting to look forward to.

An excellent story game would love to see more like this. Great game all around besides being too short, the dialogue is wonderful, really showcases how flawed most people's beliefs & lives are. The graphics were beautiful. The puzzles were fantastic, sadly there wasn't many, but enough of them that I wouldn't call this a walking simulator. The flashbacks being told through old school pixel gameplay was an interesting unique choice I don't think any game has ever done before, but it kind of works in a weird way. More gameplay such as a longer story & more puzzles would've made this game perfect.

So refreshing to have a puzzle/story game that doesn't require you to look up guides/walkthroughs/solutions, all the navigation & puzzles are self-explanatory, you pretty much never have to look up anything & can figure out everything on your own without issue. As the name implies "Mythwrecked" It features the Greek Gods but in like chill modern day form with tablets, you get trapped on an island & have to figure out what happened there to get off. Good game, but could've been better, dialogue could have been voiced & more in depth, graphics could have been nicer, characters could have been more appealing to look at, & OMG the grunts & sounds people make, just STOP I had to play the game muted. Overall, a good game that could've been great.

I found the story, environment, jokes, & NPCs in general overall better/more interesting in the 1st game. But the guns & skateboarding in 2 make this the more "fun" one to play gameplay wise. 2D is pretty, can be hard to line up with enemies properly. Combat is fine, but gets very repetitive, & on top of that the game is very difficult, I gave up after a dozen areas/bosses, you have to repeat whole 10-minute missions over & over again until you level up to beat it. I thought maybe the bounty board was like training for XP & gear, NOPE! The bounty board is even harder than the missions in most cases.. So, the game basically sets you up to fail & you get some XP, die some more, get some more XP, & then finally win. Not interested in playing a game that sets you up to fail just so you can finally beat a boss. The class types are interesting, but I wonder if some are way better than others, because I struggled a lot with the one, I ended up sticking with (since you only get XP on your active class) I stayed as the dual wielder & struggled horribly with bosses.

What an enjoyable journey, this is a very calm relaxing game of saving lost yak type animals & herding them back to their forest in a journey through cities, fields & mountains. Fun gun play, cool & interesting dialogue/story, replay ability is high considering it's one of those games where they want you to repeat the short missions to go for higher rankings, my biggest complaint is that S rankings are near impossible to achieve, I've repeated missions 20+ times & have gotten S rank only 1 time out of all the missions (which is required to finish the story)

Amazing game, I had a lot of fun with it. One of the easier "souls-like" games I've played, but still challenging enough to punish you if you're not careful or you play braindead just running in. There's a lot of bonuses to aid you in your journey. Side quests & finding collectables will increase your health & stamina, relics & talismans have different perks/bonuses to fit your playstyle, also you have NPC helper who actually can be a life saver, & huge help, especially on the final boss. Overall this game isn't too difficult, even the bosses are simple, the final boss is the only real challenge where you'll feel like giving up, took me 4 attempts & i probably died 10 times total in the game to give you some perspective on how hard she is. The trek back to her is brutal too. I hate when games make an OP final boss, also this game could have used a sell item system instead of collecting so much junk in your storage, glad there wasn't a weight limit system though.

Customizing your buildings & making your own little town square is fun, changing recipes becomes annoying when you can't satisfy everyone. Petting cats, & cleaning up trash while time lapse is a cool way to force you to stay active while you wait for the day to finish up, speed up buttons was nice to make mission days go by faster, art was pretty, but overall after the first 2 missions i stopped having fun & then got stuck on mission 3 for hours where I eventually gave up, the made the game way too hard for what it is, almost like they purposely did that to make the game seem bigger/longer.

Feb 4, 2026
Game becomes very difficult to navigate quickly, unless you're a genius at navigating you will be looking up guides or where to go constantly, after the first couple areas you will be lost, you will get lost, you will have to backtrack & look for what to do next, & everything is so vague & up to you to figure out where to go & what to do & how to solve these insane puzzles, really holds the game back in my opinion. There's not really combat which I loved because so many games feel the need to add random or lackluster combat into games these days, games can be just as fun & good without combat. This is a Survival game where you run & hide from enemies, you do have a stun gun that is also used to unlock doors, & navigate the ship. Atmosphere was cool, concept was cool, the little robot guy was cool, but with complex puzzles & navigation with literally no hand holding in this confusing environment, it becomes a chore to play, I ended up watching a guide while playing the last 2 areas because nothing is clear.

Upgrading your robot companions is cool. Navigation in this bare desert wasteland is annoying & boring, the platforming is too clunky to be enjoyable, the story didn't interest me in all, the audio log collecting & cutscenes are skippable in my opinion. I played the re-released edition & it still had a bunch of issues, including enemies getting stuck in walls, & platforming button prompts not working forcing you to quit the game to main menu & reload your file, this happened multiple times in my 7 hour playthrough, yes I gave up on the game 7 hours in, not worth my time.

Anyway, you play as a Forest Ranger who is in radio communication with a partner, you grow a friendship & learn about each other, then weird stuff starts happening, the story & dialogue is realistic & interesting, you want to find out what happens next, the gameplay is really just going around & picking things up, they had an opportunity to add puzzle solving to the equation but chose not to for some reason, so this is just an interactive story game that can be beat in one sitting.
