Luna Abyss
While it’s not perfect, Luna Abyss gets so much right and the attention it pays to details in nearly every aspect is outstanding. As such, it’s something well worth experiencing — just be ready for a finish that might not land.
If you want to get lost in an eerie yet super-stylish game world that's filled with visceral combat and nifty challenges then play Luna Abyss.
Luna Abyss is a dystopian first-person shooter in which the story, characters, and platforming sections take precedence over the shootouts. However, the boss battles provide the necessary dose of action.

All around a very good game. The story is far better than most in the genre. The pace is fast but accessible to the average skilled gamer. The voice acting is very well done. Its not amazing (TLOU) but not cheesy or bad like so many mid to low budget titles. The graphics are unique and the level design kept me from feeling like I new what to expect. All in all I didnt expect anything as good as what I got. A very pleasant surprise!

Incredible indie FPS reminiscent of early Destiny and Housemarque bullet hells, with a dash of Nier, all addingup to something exciting and unique that doesn't out-stays it's welcome!

Digital Chumps
Luna Abyss uses the framework of a first-person shooter as an easy pill to swallow down its distinctly bizarre existence. In this universe of gripping, alien weirdness, players may get lost in an obtuse plot that gleefully plays with expectations as layer after layer is uncovered for meaning. All the while, it is a bullet hell that works to feed new mechanics to the player keeping them as equally engaged with the gameplay as they are with the narrative. Though strange, it’s difficult not to be transfixed by what Luna Abyss has to offer.

Luna Abyss presents a surprising blend, driven by a unique formula and a strong identity. It is an imperfect success, but one whose qualities manage to charm and make a good part of its flaws easy to overlook.

Loot Level Chill
Despite some ropey platforming and some uneven pacing, Luna Abyss is a compelling debut from a new indie studio.

Finger Guns
On its own merits, Luna Abyss is a tightly put together first person shooter/platformer with an interesting enough story and concept. The gunplay is rewarding and not bogged down by tacked-on upgrade mechanics. The platforming is a neat little mix of brute force and lateral thinking, sometimes both simultaneously.

Luna Abyss is weird, chaotic and completely unafraid to do its own thing. Beneath the vague story lies a fascinating world that keeps pulling you deeper, while the fast-paced gunplay and slick platforming rarely give you a moment to breathe. It’s not flawless thanks to the clunky lock-on system and repetitive environments, but if you’re into relentless action with a bizarre edge, this is one to keep on your radar.
