WOW, was this game a waste of my time, this has to be the most underwhelmed i've ever felt by a game. There is no depth in this game, the driving is not rewarding at all. The career mode is boring. The physics feel cheap. The only fun I had was driving backwards during a practice session because any contact with an oncoming car will cause you to be flung like 300m in the air. The AI is a joke. The entire game feels like a cheap mobile game rip-off. I hope that Ignition is actually good unlike this garbage.

This game is definitely in my top 5 NFS games. For me though, it was the first game which gave so much freedom in how you wanted to customize your car. I like the tracks, the cars, the setting, the racing modes. The only thing I don't like about this game is rubberbanding other than that it is a solid 9/10 game!

Over 120 hours in, and I can confidently say that this is the best F1 game of all time, there are tons of great features in this game, the AI is actually believable because they make mistakes. Creating your own team is a great idea, immerses you more into the F1 world. The graphics look amazing, and the game is well optimized. The casual mode is a great addition for players who don't want to get too technical. The driving mechanics are well refined when compared to previous games. Online can be a bit glitchy at times, but is well functional and playable enough for me. Overall this is a 10/10 game in my opinion, better than F1 2021 by a mile, and well worth the $5 I paid on Steam for it.

Potentially the best arcade racer of all time, great AI, great setting, great cars, the physics are fun to mess around with, and you can easily download more cars and tracks to drive on from various sites on the internet which are still active today. A certified must play from me.

I have been observing the status of this game ever since launch. At first the game seemed so underwhelming that I'd even refuse to play it for free. However, I played it recently, and I can say for sure, that the developers have done a mega job, in releasing updates and fixing this game, however it might be too late by now... The optimization is NOT good on this game, The game suffers from stuttering issues for me, even though I have a decent specs. The graphics don't get progressively better at higher settings which they should. Even on lower settings the game looks fine, so turning up the settings for little to no gain in graphics while halving your performance. The tutorial portion of this game is an insane chore and doesn't feel engaging at all, it becomes very tiring, very soon, when you have to find sodium which is spread who knows where on a planet, this "tutorial" never seems to end, and no, it didn't help me the story a single bit, I had to go on to the wiki to learn about the different characters. There is no clear line in between the tutorial and the actual story of the game, and it doesn't help when the game seemingly decides itself about what mission you are going to play, you interact with an object and it adds another mission to the list and changes your current objectives, this is very obnoxious. Gameplay wise, the game is exactly what initial reviewers suggested, Minecraft but in space, and I am not complaining at all. It is fun to explore different planets and there moons just for the view. Finding materials can be a chore since you don't have an economy outpost scanner or whatever its called installed in your ship. The saving mechanics of this game are very poorly designed, I still can't figure out how to manual save properly, there have been times where I've exited the game only to find out later that I've lost a huge amount of progress and all that copper that I gathered. The crafting is absolutely horrible in this game, trying to construct a basic house feels like bashing your head into a concrete wall, twice. The game can't figure out that a floor is meant to be in contact with the ground, the flattening tool doesn't work, expanding areas in a ship lead to weird structures hanging in mid-air, the inventory management is absolutely broken, there is absolutely zero sense in how the game calculates the amount of storage you have. On top of all of that, the game is insanely hard to play on mouse and keyboard. This idea is amazing, but it managed to amaze me and disappoint me at the same time. But honestly, no matter how much the developers try to update this game, its now far too late, and the gaming community has generally lost interest in this, like what is happening with Cyberpunk 2077.

Honestly every single game from F1 2011 till F1 2013 feels the exact same to me in terms of the handling, graphics, gameplay, audio .etc. The graphics are mediocre at the best, sometimes the lightning looks good, but nowhere as good as other racing games from the same era, it honestly suffers from the lack of power of 7th generation of consoles, there are certain things which make the experience unimpressive, like the lack of podium ceremonies, the 3D model of pit-crew, the name of the driver you are replacing appearing on your car. All settings maxed out on a modern-gaming PC, will make the game appear a bit decent but honestly I think the graphics are a downgrade from F1 2012. The career mode is decent enough, but the difficulty of AI is seriously underwhelming, they have no sense of where other cars are. Classic mode is what you expect, apart from the filters and the legend Murray Walker commentating, you have a half-decent selection of tracks and cars to race, but the cars are hardly any challenging to drive when compared to the modern cars. Now the driving mechanics in this game, HOLY SHI- are absolutely horrible, I can't fathom who thought it was a good idea to make the car literally glued on to the track, the cars feels obnoxious when going into the corners even with no assists, an F1 car should not stick to the track at all times with this much level of grips even with blown diffusers. You can absolutely chuck the cars into corners and be unscathed, you can set unrealistic lap-times using these physics. The tiny little information panel you get on the right side of the screen is not helpful, it is very hard to tell your engineer that you want to pit in. There are only 2 things that can justify playing this game: > you have a very low end PC, like HD 4000, then this is the most definitive F1 gaming experience you can get. > you hate the V6 turbo-hybrid engines. This is an okay-ish racer, but this feels more like an arcade racer than a simcade which it was supposed to be.

I don't like this one, I am going to be honest. I never played it during its era. But this doesn't mean that I hate it because of this reason as I also didn't play NFS: Most Wanted in its era, but I revisited it and liked it very much. I was hoping the same for UG2, but I am disappointed. The main problem is the story, I don't like a complicated plot in my racing game, it takes the fun out of racing games, you saw what happened to NFS: Payback and Heat because of this. The other problem are the graphics, they feel like a downgrade when compared to UG1, they lack detail, even on the PC version. The handling of the cars also feel a bit odd, when compared to other titles in the series because NFS has always been an arcade racing series (exception of Shift, Shift 2), the handling of the cars feel a bit stiff and they take way much time to respond to my inputs. The events are uninteresting and not memorable at all, and there was a bit of repetition in the events Now lets come at the good side of things. I like the openworld city a lot, the weather feature is really innovative when compared to NFS UG1, the cars sound very good, the tuning aspect is decent. And that was all I could say good about this game. I feel like it didn't introduce something new to the series. It felt like a remake of UG1, than a separate game. Most of these events were already in UG1, and they were fine. If people like this game then good for them, but that is not the opinion of everybody. I personally don't like this one that much.

Like I don't want to rate it 8/10, it deserves higher, but the number of issues I have with this game is insane. So I'll vent about the negatives first and then the positives. The graphics, look unimpressive for something made in 2018, even on Ultra settings, they don't look appealing at all. If logic works, you would expect the graphics to look good on Ultra at the expense of FPS, but no, the graphics look almost exactly the same as High but the game drops about 50% of the frames. My rig runs the game just fine at Ultra settings, I'd be getting around 55-60 FPS in-game, but as soon as I alt-tabbed out of the game to do something else, switch back in, and boom, FPS DROP, the game will then proceed to run at constant 15 FPS for the next 5 minutes, before it will come to its senses, and go back to 55-60 FPS. Another place where the game acts weird for no reason at all is when you use a flashback, you use a flashback, then the game just gets stuck for 2 sec, and you miss your braking point, and off into the wall you go. The game also has this issue during flashbacks, during replays, in the garage .etc, and it’s a fairly common issue. The AI feels a bit unfair to me, and in heavy rain, it still feels like they are driving on rails, they are hardly hindered by the weather. The damage model of AI is also questionable, sometimes they will hit you in the back at 300KPH, and not even their front wing is going to be damaged. Also if the AI feels like you are making the sin of defending to their overtaking attempts, they will not go for a divebomb or try to find a gap, they are seriously going to just straight-up rear-end you and spin you out so that you end up in the tyre wall, and they don’t even get a single scratch on their front wing. Now that the negatives are out of the way, let’s talk about the positives. This game is one of the best F1 games out there, it’s a complete package, the career mode is great, the tracks are highly detailed (although some are unrealistic), the cars sound great, you great audible feedback if you go on a kerb. If you go into a tunnel, you’ll start to have radio connectivity issues, and then you will not be able to hear your engineer, which is a nice touch. The R&D is such a great feature, it’s so satisfying to see your team, which is at the back of the field when the 1st season begins, to be fighting for championships at the end of 3rd season, because of you, they’ve got such a fast car. Not only the R&D is required for performance, but also for durability because if your gearbox has too much wear on it, chances are that it will fail, and each failure will be unique, you could end up missing a gear, or even worse, it could fail completely and you’ll have to retire. The 25% per cent race, is the way to go if you don’t want to spend hours, a typical race then is just 23-25 minutes long, and you still have a good experience. You’ll never get bored with this game if you enjoy this genre, because there is so much happening during a race, that you will be completely immersed, you have to worry about your tyres, you have to worry about the fuel, you have your engineer reminding you of the gaps to the cars ahead and behind, and when to pit. You make a mistake into a turn, then the car behind is in a position to overtake you, you swerve right and left, in an attempt to keep the car behind, they get ahead of you, you then brake late into a corner and retake that position, honestly it is just a very immersive experience. Driving aspect in this game is tailored towards both, casuals and professionals. I’ve tried both Keyboard and a Controller, and both of them are well optimized. The difficulty system of this game is just fantastic, you have so much customizability to set the difficulty to what your pace is. The assists can also be adjusted so that you don’t have to worry about spinning out into the gravel, and just have a fun time playing the game. As it is a simcade, the simulator part of this game is well designed also, as this game can be ruthless if you make a simple mistake like accelerating too early out of the corner with all assists turned off and then it will reward you by spinning your car 360 degree, and that’s how it should be. I’ve now had over 100 hours in this game, and I still play it to this day, something about this game just makes me come back to it often, and start the career mode again and again and again and again... Honestly, even with all its flaws, this game is still awesome, but I’d recommend you to get F1 2020 or wait for F1 2021 instead because those are far more polished and refined than this game. TL;DR: The game is good, has some optimization issues, slightly unfair AI, underwhelming graphics, great career mode, great gameplay, easy to control/hard to master, 8/10 game.

First of all, I want to make it clear that I have only played the GBA version (alot) in my childhood, and have only watched the PS2 version being played by someone else. So I am not reviewing this game through nostalgia goggles. The remaster is faithful to the original, the gameplay is so good, the controls are responsive and feel good. The music is delightful. There is something so satisfying about collecting the shiny objects and destroying the robots. The story is great, and quite simple to understand. The only thing where it sort of lacks is the repetition of the dialouge, which makes the lines of dialogue repeat themselves whenever you go into a specific area or perform an action, It could be easily fixed if the repetition is toned down a bit in a later update, but it isn't worth deducting a point from the score. Even as a modern day platformer its on par with something like Crash Bandicoot. I would say the developers did a pretty good job in making this remaster, and I am looking forward to them remastering some more old SpongeBob games. Overall this game is a solid 10/10. I am having alot of fun with this remaster. See IGN it wasn't that hard to make a reasonable review?

Cars feel like they are driving on literal rails, it feels too planted, if you are understeering into a corner, you have to stamp on the brakes which will cause the car to oversteer and then you'll end up in the grass. The physics can be horrible and unrealistic at times, which isn't due to its age because F1 2012 felt realistic enough to me. The AI difficulty is a literal JOKE. The UI feels clunky and horrible. This is coming from someone who hasn't even played F1 2013, so I can’t compare it to that on their similarities. I can't even complain about car sounds because that's how they sounded in 2014. However, the game is still worth enough to boot up on an evening, and you can still have some fun. The game also has some of the best optimizations I've seen from 2014, it handles well on integrated GPUs and even gives me stable FPS on my main rig (unlike F1 2018's garbage optimization). The game looks amazing and still holds up to this day, it is impressive how good the graphics are for a game made for X360/PS3. Sadly, there's where the positives end. It's still a mediocre racing game in 2021, you can pick it up for less than $2 on Steam in sales, but I'd recommend F1 2012 over this any day.

One of the best sim-racing games on the market currently, totally worth the $4.20 I paid for the Ultimate Edition. I don't even have a wheel or a controller, I play with mouse and keyboard, and still do well with all assists turned off, that's how optimized the controls are for this game. Multiplayer can be fun and frustrating at the same time, sometimes it's intense wheel to wheel racing, and other times it's just one guy who teleports to the pits and keeps bumping into cars trying to ruin the day of race leaders. The car selection in this game is just fantastic (in the Ultimate Edition). You have lots of variety, and each car is very detailed and handles realistically. The game is optimized for PC, even my friends can play it easily at 40FPS on Intel 10th Gen iGPUs. It handles well for me at Ultra 1080p@75FPS. The tracks are highly realistic, although the backgrounds can feel a bit paper sometimes. The AI is lethal, even when you don't want online competition, you can adjust the AI aggression and AI difficulty level to suit it to your liking. Couldn't find a car that you want in the game? Don't worry, that's where the mod support of this game shines, 75% of the time, any car I have in my mind that is not present in the game, I can find a highly detailed mod of it, for absolutely free, like I was able to find a Suzuki Alto mod of a specific generation, and it was perfect, like how cool is that? Overall, if you are on a tight budget and want a decent sim-racer, you should definitely consider this. 9.5/10

The canyon racing mode was the main highlight of the game for me. The car handling feels snappy and responsive for a NFS game. The drifting mechanics are decent. The graphics look half-decent, the cars look a bit low quality, but the environment and the scenery are one of the best I've ever seen from a game of that era. I don't like racing games which put more emphasis on story than gameplay, but the story in carbon is acceptable, its not great, but it's not bad as Payback. One thing I hate about the game is the police chases, once you finish a race, there is a 30% chance that you will get the police, and evading them is very hard. If a race lasts for about 3 minutes and you got the police on you in it, then you are going to spend the next 10 minutes evading the police. The game had its fair share of compatibility problems on PC, the HUD didn't fit on my screen. After trying several "fixes", which didn't work, I almost gave up on trying to get the HUD to fit on my display. The game released in 2006, and the PS2 version had widescreen support, but for some reason, PC lacked proper widescreen support. Overall, I give the game a solid 8 out of 10.

While I am not a big fan of all of the AC games, I like this one this has childhood memories attached to it. This was the second games I first beat from finish to start. This ran beautifully on my old E6600 PC with only 2GB of RAM. The graphics looked fantastic for the time period, and still are decent. The gameplay was fun and fluid especially the combat and parkour mechanics. Traversing around Rome on the rooftops was very fun. The story was phenomenal, i always liked Desmond. I always liked the split story, One second you are in ancient Rome, the other you are doing parkour around modern day Italy. The only problem I sort of have with this game is that the dialouge during battles repeats itself quite often, but that doesn't get in the way of how great this game is, also I have yet to see a game which offers this level of fluidity in combat. Overall its a great game, i would highly recommend you to pick this up, as it is usually pretty cheap on steam. 9/10

Until recently, I didn't like this game, I was a long time fan of the series and I've played every single title in the series from NFS 1 to NFS:UG, I skipped on UG2 and MW because I hated the idea of a story based racing game. So I didn't play it. But I've got to say, this game is something. I actually enjoyed this game, a lot. It didn't feel outdated in anyway. In fact, it was a breath of fresh air after playing the trash what NFS Payback and Heat were. The story doesn't interfere in the gameplay at all, the story is believable and isn't like Payback where we are cops who are chasing after criminals. The story nicely blends in with the gameplay. The racing feels good, the graphics are great but I've seen some games which look nicer than this and came out before it, or it could be just the fact that I am not a big fan of the greenish-yellow tint. The setting and atmosphere is great. And lastly the cop chases, they are a massive upgrade over NFS:HP2. The only issue I sort of had was the optimization, as I faced micro stutters on my modern gaming PC and the lack of proper controller support. Overall this is a great game, and I had fun with it. I feel bad for not playing it earlier, when it was popular. Now I can see why people consider this to be the best NFS title ever, and I can agree with that, although for me, its not the best NFS game, but one of the best. I will recommend this game to anyone who wants a racing game for their low end PC.

There was something about this game that made me come back to it again and again for some reason, even though I hated its performance and the numerous amounts of bugs I faced on my 2006 PC. The game ran at about ~40FPS on medium settings at 1024x768 resolution on my C2D E6600 2.4GHz 2GB DDR2 Quadro 410, but I faced serious stuttering. I then saved my pocket money and bought another 2GB DDR2 stick. Every other game I owned had a massive performance boost, except for this game. But I still played the cr*p out of it. I really liked the driving and cover system of this game, which were refreshing after playing the same styled GTA's for the previous 7 years. The story was okay but it never was appealing to me to finish it as GTA V's story is, but still, its a great story. I recently got the game again for my modern PC, and still wasn't able to finish it (probably due to me being busy with GTA V). Overall this game is 7/10, but I won't recommend it to people who have little to no patience as this game still has performance and optimization issues on modern PC's. I would suggest downloading community based patches to improve your experience. But to people who want to experience a good open world game with realistic driving, I'd recommend it.

This game is great The different features this milsim offers make it stand out from the others. The greatest thing about this game, in my opinion, is the mission editor, A feature that ARMA games are known for. The mission editor offers endless possibilities for you to create your missions, Like defending a town from an invasion, a special ops mission, or just a multiplayer map for your friends to enjoy. If you are more into this mission-making, then you could learn scripting (which I struggle with, but at least I know the basics). The weapons and vehicles featured in the make the base game feel a bit stale, but the mods make up for it. I have played all the previous games in this series, and if you want more current-gen weapons than I would suggest you download a few weapon mods from the workshop. The campaign is very plain in my opinion and is very forgettable apart from some iconic characters, But it follows the same story as every other modern shooter which is US “good” and everyone else “bad”, but I can’t blame the developers (they need to follow the trends). But that’s not the only issue with the campaign. The campaign gets very difficult to understand from the start and it is very hard to keep track of what's happening and why it's happening. On top of that, the devs give you little to no freedom in how to complete the missions, If you go out of the boundary of some missions to approach the objective from a different angle, the game will sometimes blow you up. And worst of all, in the end, the plot remains open-ended. The game doesn’t explain what happened afterward but simply slaps a “The End” on top of the black screen. If you are more into the campaigns, I would suggest you play Arma Armed Assault or Arma Cold War Assault. The graphics of the game are great for a game released in 2013, However, the game seems to have massive performance issues on high-end hardware as well. The multiplayer is fantastic, It has a great variety of game modes to offer like Roleplay, Deathmatch, KOTH .etc. It even has servers that are dedicated to realistic military operations. If you are more into realism then you should consider joining a unit. The gameplay is decent also. However, the gunplay is very different from COD and Battlefield series, so you would need to get used to it. The driving in this game is okay, not great but okay. The flying is very simple as the ARMA series does not focus on air to air combat or dogfights. But still gives you a decent experience. The running and different stances in this game are great. However, I have only one complaint about the gameplay which is the lack of a cover system, sure you can lean in the game but taking cover and firing from cover seems a bit off in this game, and as far as I know, there are no mods which can offer a better experience. AI is somewhat improved, The AI finally knows how to properly take cover and drive. But the AI still seems to have aimbot as it can headshot you 600m away with a 5.56 Rifles using an iron sight while you are hiding in a bush during the night. You still need mods to make the AI work properly. The weapon customization in this game is revolutionary even when compared to modern titles, and the customization is not limited to multiplayer only. But you can also customize your weapons in the single-player and the mission editor. The weapon customizations include bipods, scopes, suppressors, flashlights. He*k you can even put a 16X scope on an SMG. The graphics of the game are great for a game released in 2013, However, the game seems to have massive performance issues on high-end hardware as well. So loading up hundreds of objects at the same time in the mission editor could be impractical if you have an HDD, For an optimal experience, I would suggest using an SSD and at least 8 GB of RAM. However, I have seen people playing this game on weaker hardware (such as a Core 2 Duo). The lightning and shadow effects in this game look great to me, However, you could use different mods to make the game look more beautiful. As for the sounds, It depends, as the environmental sounds are a nice touch, but something about the sound of the guns is a bit off to me. That’s why I use mod weapons only in this game. In my opinion, the sounds of guns in ARMA 2 were the best. The community of ARMA series is great, they are very helpful and they are very accepting of new members. There are some great scripters out there as well. I would suggest you check out BI Forums. TL;DR: The game is great overall, the campaign can be confusing and difficult to understand at times. The gameplay is great, AI is not. The weapon customizations are great. The graphics are decent for 2013 standards. The multiplayer is great. The mod support is great. The community is great also. A must buy. Overall this game is a solid 9/10 from me.

Its one of the best, if not the best game ever created. The story, gameplay, gunplay, location, graphics .etc, Rockstar nailed every thing. The story and the characters are memorable. The humor is great. The graphics look fantastic on ultra settings. The optimization is great, you can even enjoy this game on a PC from 2006. The game is fun even when you are not completing missions, you have tons of things to explore, and tons of side missions to complete. The level design in this game is so good that even when you've completed a level you can come back to it and complete it by using a different strategy, it literally has hours and hours of fun packed into it. I got this back in 2016, and I've been playing it ever since. I think this is one of the best games ever developed to date. Its a 10/10 of game, and I recommend it to everybody. Its a fine racing game, but the AI is far too unfair for me. The AI never seems to slow down when taking a corner even on the amateur difficulty. The gameplay is great, it really immerses you when you are going down the road at 200 KMH. The graphics are the one of the best I've seen in a racing game. The career is quite bland in my opinion. Overall its a 6/10 game.

Look, I am going to be straight up honest. If you don’t mind the tons of optimization issues, game-breaking bugs, launcher issues, textures not loading, Focus on paid content, needless gambling system, toxic community, very poor SBMM and little to no support from the developers. Don’t download this game. It's not worth your time. If all of these issues were not present I would probably have given this game a 1/10. But for now, it stays at 0. Edit: It seems that they have removed SBMM but it doesn't mean that I am gonna rate it any higher.

This was the game which introduced me to the world of PC gaming, as it was one of the first games I played after buying my first GPU. This game had me hooked I played its campaign so many times, the characters were so great and lively. The game looks so good nowadays even for 2007s standard. The story is phenomenal (not best I've ever seen but still), the level design is so great, that's why this game never gets old. The multiplayer is also great. Overall 10/10.

The fact that the game crashes whenever my FPS goes above 60 is just annoying. No thanks make it paid but fix its bugs and crashes. The textures don't load also. Another insult to injury for this game is that people use vehicles to run other players over. No thanks, I will pass on this one.

Plain nostalgia. Back when you paid for a game and that was it. No DLC, No Micro-transactions.

I mean if you ignore the fact that pressing start on the controller causes the game to crash immediately and that there is a 1-second input lag. It is a solid game.
