Motorcycle Mechanic Simulator 2021: Prologue7

Feels like a less polished and considerably smaller version of CMS21. Good fun! But feels more like DLC than a stand alone game

Very fun and addictive game, even better with mods! I love stripping old cars and rebuilding them from scratch with modifications. Career mode gets tedious pretty quickly though

Call of Duty: Black Ops 49

A refreshing return for what was, in my opinion, a series that was dying a slow and painful death. Did anyone honestly enjoy playing Advanced Warfare, WW2 or Infinite Warfare? I was sceptical to buy it at first but really glad I did. The multiplayer is fun and fast-paced. I know others don't but I actually enjoy playing with the specialists - but each to their own. The 'Blackout' game mode really makes the game for me. It feels like they've taken elements from each of the other popular battle royale games and put their own spin on it - it works. It really works. My friends and I play frequently and get really **** into it! I've never been that keen on zombies but for the few games I have played I've enjoyed. (Although it does seem much harder this time around?)

I was really intrigued by this as I do enjoy puzzle games and it looked quite quirky and different. In my opinion, the game could have been really successful, but it has a huge flaw. It is far, far too difficult. Honestly, I would get stuck, watch a Youtube tutorial and just think "how would I have ever known to have done that" - over and over again. This isn't even me being dumb - I am generally quite good at puzzle games and have enjoyed playing Portal, Qube 2 and The Turing Test in the past.

Far Cry 59

I loved it. Thought it was great fun. So much to do and explore in the open world. The graphics are great and the gameplay (especially shooting) is smooth and works well. This was one of those games where I genuinely felt sad to have finished it.

Dying Light5

I found the game a bit 'meh' to be honest. I appreciate it's meant to be realistic, but it can be so frustrating how hard it is to kill zombies if you haven't got strong weapons! I wasn't bowled over by the storyline, or side missions, or the time trial runs. It's a shame because I really tried to like this game and get **** into it... but it just didn't happen.

Mafia III8

Well clearly this review is going to be the black sheep... but I really enjoyed Mafia 3! So much so, that I even bought all 3 of the DLC's that were released. I can understand why people became frustrated with this game as it can be very repetitive, buggy, and the AI can be really really dumb at times, but overall I thought it was great fun. Good levelling up system keeps you engaged with new weapons, perks and safehouses. I enjoyed the stealth element of the game as well as going in all guns blazing! I thought the storyline was very engaging and the soundtrack is brilliant. I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this, especially as I read such negative reviews beforehand. But for £15 it's certainly worth a shot!
