Pokémon Legends: Z-A fails on almost every level. The combat system is broken, with lock-on glitches and frequent freezes that force restarts. The graphics, as per usual, are disastrous for such a popular gaming trademark. Lumiose City feels empty and uninspired, and the story is forgettable at best. Technical issues, from soft-locks in quests to visual bugs and frame drops, make the game frustrating rather than fun. Even for longtime Pokémon fans, this is a massive disappointment. Avoid it entirely.

This game is a perfect showcase of the PS5's potential and a must-play for fans of platformers and the PlayStation trademark. It's a beautiful journey that appeals to both casual gamers and long-time PlayStation fans. Nintendo couldn't do any it better and they better step up their game if they want to keep up with this level of perfection.
