The Witcher: Season 11
Dec 22, 2019
Might be interesting for people who played the game. Otherwise, skip this show and you won't miss out on anything. There are better quasi-medieval fantasy shows to watch in the limited time you have.

Swamp Thing (2019)7
Jul 7, 2019
Quite watchable. + Good cinematography
+ promising story
+ the dude in the suit looks great - sadly not truthful to the weird comic
- miscasted main character with fake lips. That's no doctor, but a random Insta Kardashian wannabee

Game of Thrones: 8 The Bells3

Who would have thought that the real villains that destroy Westeros are producers David & Dan. They murdered every intelligent aspect and story arc of the main characters and turned GoT in a mindless CGI fest. 3/10 but only for the great actors, costumes, cinematography and music. So sad.

Black Lightning: Season 14
Feb 15, 2018
Another Marvel show with a generic storyline, replaceable characters, bad CGI and a silly suit. This time with a black, middle-aged hero that can shoot sparkles. This has nothing to do with being overly sensitive about racism or political issues. I wish this show was like Atlanta with superhero action. But it's just generally boring. I'm not a big fan of the whole Marvel television shows. I think they're overrated, uncreative and only reason for their existence is that they carry the same brand as the excellent Marvel movies. If you think likewise, skip this show. Go watch The Tick if you like something fresh.

Dirty Money (2018): Season 16
Feb 15, 2018
The documentary show the other side of Gordon Gecko's "Greed is Good". It's good for a couple of people and bad for the rest. The show picks up the moralistic tone of Michael Moore, criticizing society. If have followed the news, this feel very familiar and a bit stale. Yes, we know that the AIDS medicine guy Shkreli is probably a sociopath that only cares about himself. Many people on the top achieved that position by being ruthless crazy or evil, what's new? The only new thing are random people attacking it on the internet by calling a documentary biased. Ever seen a true neutral documentary? That will be the most boring powerpoint slideshow ever.

Altered Carbon: Season 17
Feb 6, 2018
Let's start with the good part. It's a bit similar to Bladerunner. Visually good looking, the future is a dystopia, that classic film noir vibe (the smoking detective in a long coat), good acting and great action scenes. Then the bad part. It isn't Bladerunner. The main characters are both overly sexualized to get more viewers. 250 year old dude wakes up, ripped like Wolverine and meets this supersexy girl-cop who can do anything whatever she likes, apparently. You know a sex scene is obligatory now. Spoiler: the sex scene is without a bra, a revolution for American television. Throw in a political correct character like 'the sympathetic muslim' (what was his function, except pleasing a certain crowd?). And of course there's the black sidekick of the white hero, because we love stereotypes, don't we? So I'm confused. What is this? A romcom? An action movie? Or a proper sci-fi that makes you think about your own reality? I have the impression that the show tries to please every crowd but loses it's own identity with it.

Knightfall: Season 13
Dec 26, 2017
A dramatized historic television show that might interest a 13-year old about templar knights, with nicely groomed hair who yell and fight like WWE wrestlers. Filmed in some kind of archaeological museum, with huge modern windows, safety railings in staircases and exhibition rooms with unclear medieval objects. If you look passed all these mistakes, you can enjoy a basic superhero show about good guys with capes and manly-man looks fighting an evil conspiracy (involving Arabs obviously) and a secret weapon.

The Walking Dead: Season 86
Nov 19, 2017
I kept watching because I'm an apocalypse nerd and I like soms characters, like Rick, Glenn (RIP) and that autistic dude. Not sure what happened with Carl (good riddance), moody Michonne or other main characters. Instead, we have Ezekiel. The most annoying, corny and very unrealistic leader with his pet-tiger, toy armour and that dude with his ridiculous fake axe. Is Kirkman mocking us? The character Ezekiel was bad in the comics, but in the television series he's even worse. It's cringy to watch the actor try to put some human emotions in this clown act.

Star Trek: Discovery: Season 15
Nov 19, 2017
Average show. While the acting is done well (Rapp is fantastic), the writers lack inspiration, the story doesn't have any depth or surprises and the costumes are just horrible to watch. Especially in the clumsy fighting scenes, done in a giant rubber Klingon suit. Or the non-existing facial expression in 'emotional scenes' with First Officer Saru with the autistic/Vulcan main character.

The Tick (2017): Season 19
Nov 19, 2017
Highly recommendable and bingable. It makes fun of many aspects of the superhero genre like Deadpool did before, but more quirky with intentionally bad suits, bad lines and bad stereotypes.

Marvel's The Punisher: Season 14
Nov 19, 2017
People attacking 'the critics' ad hominem because they don't agree. Babbling about unrelated (American) politics. But they still give the show a 9 or 10, without a single argument. This kind of negativity and stupidity will kill off the social media factor in media. If you like the show, tell as detailed as possible WHY you like the show. Talk about the action, the story, the actor, anything. But don't bother others people with your unrelated, uninteresting and predicable rant about **** or SJW. Don't make this about you, it's about The Punisher. /ontopic: Good things about The Punisher: a good insight on PTSD, nice action and Bernthal. Bad things: way too long, boring and it feels like another Marvel cashcow. Not recommendable, only on a hangover day.

Designated Survivor: Season 24
Nov 19, 2017
The first season was exciting and fresh. The second season is cheesy without a fun campy factor. It looks a soap, a shallow representation of things happening in the real world. The president staff is always represented by the same 4-5 people and president Kirkman is starting to get annoying, just by being way so nice and reasonable that even doctor Phil is more edgy.

Master of None: Season 26
Aug 14, 2017
I really enjoyed the first season, it was fresh and recognisable. Although the characters are likeable, the show got boring. The Italian scenes are very stereotypical (kid in wifebeater shirt, you don't have to lock your bike, everyone eats pasta all day). The acting of his parents is painful to watch and the jokes aren't that funny. The show turned from awesome to meh.
