The only reason this isn't higher is because so much of the game is something that was seen in a previous game by hazelight. Different setting but same mechanics. Its a solid game, worth a play through.

A game that hopefully lets the industry know that if you do turn based combat well and make it engaging people will play it. It was a very somber and engrossing game that only lacked in a few areas: no real challenge to put the fun gameplay to work against and some of the music was really juxtaposed to the tone of the area or story and mixed in a way that it overshadowed everything or became insanely loud and jarring. I am not a huge fan of the tone this game has typically but it did it well and I played through it multiple times. Worth every minute of playtime.

A great game and a great sequel, it peaks in Act 2 leaving Act 3 to feel more like a clean up rather than a climax. The music and sound is weak and repetitive and had to be turned off eventually but the game itself is solid. Definitely a standout in the genre.

Definitely a disappointment now that we've got the full game. Lots of times when you aren't playing, just watching the game play out without any interaction on your part. Watch your party members play for you, watch the water run in that sink while things happen off screen; is it to build suspense? No because the literal next scene will always tell you everything that happened off screen in a convenient dialogue box. Watch those credits multiple times, no skipping! Run down this corridor or across that bridge, don't worry no enemies, no jokes, no story just go right. Do it again in another chapter not even a new asset to look at, the exact same corridor. When things are happening and you are playing its fun, some of the characters are lovable some of them are not. I do wish there was more combat in the variety like the color change effects from Undertale. It ends up feeling more like a cash in on Undertale rather than a passion project like Undertale was.

I am sure if you are a bethesda loving person this game will scratch the itch. It is the ultimate example of going for quantity over quality. Also weirdly upset with the lack of Jank, it added so much heart to the bethesda game and without it something is definitely missing. Generally just another Bethesda game but bigger and more chopped up with loading screens.

If you love Harry Potter and Nostalgia is a selling point this game is 100% for you, don't hesitate to play. If you don't... may be best to skip this one. Currently the game is riddled with bugs and sadly some of them completely debilitate your ability to get all the achievements. Many require hard resets or re-doing quests multiple times. I encountered multiple instances of falling through the world, being stuck in walls and generally think the game needed 3 more months of just bug fixing. A few collectibles can be obtained without registering, there is also a side quest that is impossible to complete if you explored before receiving it. No fix yet despite 3 updates. The story is laughable at best and vomit inducing at its worst. It seemed like it was being played for laughs but would then turn around and act serious which did not do it any favors. The world is very rich and lively with lots of little things to appreciate, but that does not make a game. The gameplay is easy but enjoyable, on the absolute hardest the game has to offer there was not a singular challenging fight. However going into dark arts does feel pretty good. The game does get my title of "Worst loot system ever". Making you hold a button for 1 second to sell gear, while limiting your inventory to an insanely low capacity is baffling. I can only assume they were aiming for the gear system to feel tedious and unrewarding and they knocked it out of the park. The gear system of this game should be shown to anyone attempting to develop an RPG as an example of what you should never do. Gear boils down to 1 stat per item and it gets bigger with higher levels and better quality. No variety of any kind. 20 pieces is your max starting limit which will fill up in about 5 minutes of playing. you have to spend 1 second per piece selling or destroying. I even now am going to lower my score for this game again because I despise this loot system with every fiber of my being. The best thing the game has going for it is its music score which is 10/10. Calling this game a masterpiece is an insult to video games as a whole. The game wholeheartedly deserved its 5/10. The joke of a story does not drive you through the bland world and tedious/repetitive gameplay. The game tried to be many things but didn't put enough effort into any aspect to really make it stand out as something memorable. And I actually completed the game before writing the review unlike 99% of people apparently.

Final Fantasy VII Remake7
Apr 13, 2021
Was the gameplay fun? Yes it was, absolutely a pinnacle of the genre and a framework for how RPGs can move into the current generation of gaming. Fast paced, full of action, yet the aspect of strategy is still rewarded. Its the first step in the right direction since they ditched the standard Turn based strategy in FF12. Was the music and sound good? Absolutely 10/10, final fantasy music has always been excellent and the Remake didn't disappoint. An additional positive for me was the Hard Mode... I didn't know that I wanted that, but I did and it was great. So why isn't it perfect 10/10? Nomura is a moron! Not only should he not be in charge of the story he should never be involved in the development of any game ever again. The mastermind behind the **** show that is Kingdom hearts has **** all over the story of FF7 which was already questionable at best and laughable at worst. The issue is the original FF7 story felt silly and grandiose, with certain moments being serious and others being satirical. Going all out on the story and characters being "Gritty and realistic" makes the laughable stuff seem insulting to the characters and story. By the time this is all said and done it will likely make KH seem like a coherent and childish story. FF7 shouldn't be a shonen jump anime, but this is the beginning of that downfall.

Monster Hunter Rise2
Mar 27, 2021
Ive given 3 monster hunter games a try and Rise will be the last, no matter what advertising says was improved these are daed to me. I would describe monster hunter games as the series that is "like that other game, but intentionally tedious and frustrating. Sound/music - What is in the game is acceptable, but annoying and repetitive. Song clips are short bursts of 30-40 seconds of music that you're going to be hearing through an entire 30-50 minute hunt. Story - Like all monster hunter games the story exists because other games have story. It is inconsequential and skipping everything the game will let you skip won't impact the game in any way. You're doing some random story about a rampage but you go hunt random monsters that are just living life. The fact that I can't just skip all of the story despite it being useless is baffling but whatever the core design of Monster hunter is developers saying "hahahaha that'll piss the players off". Visual/Graphics - Monster hunter has alwasy skimped on visuals and graphics to allow them to put out more product more quicky, however it actually has impact in a game thats all about timing hits and dodges in clunky combat. The lack of smooth frame rates and character movements will result in you missing an enemy and getting hit by their move. The end result is that the combat ends up being slower than most early gaming JRPGs. Its somethiing you can learn to play around but it would work much better if it just worked as you see it rather than having to learn the little nuances that conflict with your senses. Gameplay - This is what really matters and where Monster hunter baffles me endlessly. Every aspect of interacting with the game as a player sseems to be made intentionally annoying, not difficult, annoying. Tutorial menu/blurb, push a to close, "Are you sure?" - default selection of "No", move cursor... select yes. Talk to the same person again cause you just want to upgrade your weapon. Oh hey another annoying menu pop up with the tedious multi click requirement. Loading times have been improved but are still annoying. The tutorial/introductory zone "shrine ruins" features 3 large monsters to fight. Of course you can't just grab the quest for all 3 monsters go to the shrine ruins and explore everything and hunt the monster... That would be fun and make sense. You have to select each monster one at a time, load in hunt that one monster, leave, turn in the quest, select the next monster you already guaranteeably encountered (cause they are all in the zone every time you go), go back to the zone, repeat everything you did the previous time, repeat all of the above again for the 3rd monster... and so on. While what i'm describing should already sound like a form of torture... it gets worse! The monsters you are hunting run away... all of them. What does this add to the game? More tedium, delays and annoyance. It isn't more realistic (if something you're hunting IRL runs away that **** is gone). It isn't more fun to stop the fight move locations and start the same fight again. You can't lock on to something like in a good game, you can choose which large monster you're hunting, and tap R to focus the camera on it (for a nano second) then its back to flailing wildly, so as a player you constantly have to just tap R prior to unloading your combo, again this isn't because its more challenging, more realistic, more fun its just another little frustration that works better in every other game its in. Hit boxes for yourself and monster are just atrocious, sometimes the hit registers normal and does normal damage sometimes you hit the armored part of the animal and do less damage, visually though you hit the same spot 4 times and it just said F-You 1 of them. Monsters get the same benefit, sometimes you're no where near the visual of their move but you're getting hit all the same because F-You thats why. Ive seen the swing of a monsters claws hit a player in front of them and hit me who is about 2 feet behind them sharpening my weapon. Sharpening your weapon is another insanely frustrating thing, its literally a "must do" function roughly every 20-25 swings of a weapon, which comes very quickly. Usually in one of the 20 encounters you'll have with the monster prior to them running away to delay the fight you'll have to sharpen for every single one. At the end of everything all i can say is that I am shocked and amazed that monster hunter still exists. The only thing Monster hunter truly excels at is making other games look amazing. Games with real monster targeting are incredible, games with varied high production sound tracks are incredible, games with tight controls and well constructed combat are incredible. Games that push the graphics and programming of a system hardware are incredible. Games that take the time to polish the UI to make the game accessible and user friendly are incredible. Monster hunter is none of these things.

Persona 5 Strikers2
Mar 15, 2021
The combat is good, quite fun to have the action rpg combat style but its way too easy because of the ability to dodge. Once you master that one technique literally nothing in the game presents a challenge on any difficulty. Dodge can dodge everything in the game and auto counters if you can even kind of land it. Additionally because there is no restriction on using items (it stops combat to use an item), and no restriction on leaving the dungeon, full healing and just comng back in... its just way TOO EASY. Overall its not great enough combat to justify the existence of the whole game but would be awesome to see it utilizied in future Persona titles like P6. Hopefully they can utilize it for certain scenarios and events in dungeons. The music is also banging... but most of it is just Persona 5's music, many of the new songs come off as quickly made video game music that doesn't have that same flair and doesn't mesh with the game llike most persona titles soundtracks. Now for the bad; The story is appalling; the new characters is a bait and switch literally because subverting expectations (in and of itself) means you've succeeded at writing. Its kind of insulting seeing them just pretend nothing came of the first game. Cops know the Phantom thieves and are willing to pin any crime on them at the drop of the hat. Good to know we didn't fix anything in the justice system. Politicians and CEO's are as corrupt as ever, basically you made no impact on the world and nothing has changed... good starting point. The game starts by informing you the player that everyone (except the lovely ann) has basically forgotten about you and puts no effort into maintaining your friendship. All those confidants just immediately were like pish posh to that **** So now you get an AI friend to do everything cause plot would be hard to write so we'll just quickly exposition all that away with this AI can solve everything. If you know anything about how AI's work this **** will be laughable to you, its so like AI = GODs that its impossible to take it serious. The villain is also using AI's... AI's everywhere because; again, writing anything would be hard, so just add AI's and make them "Deus Ex" everything that would normally be plot. I consdered Persona 5's writing a downgrade from 3 and 4 and this stuff is a far leap lower than that, Id be really shocked to hear any of the writers say they tried with the story, I like to imagine they'd be open to saying "yeah we kinda slapped it together to meet a deadline." Now for the true reason Im giving it a dog**** score... My game has crashed roughly 20 times, for some reason loading screens have a roughly 10% chance to just turn the game off... this is extra frustrating because the game doesn't have any sort of autosave feature. There isn't any reason for it to use the old school JRPG "you have to save manually" model of saving. There aren't decisions to be made about how you spend your time... they just kept mechanics for a different type of game in this new game... could you imagine playing Dynasty warriors or Hyrule warriors and having to manually save constantly during missions and after missions and on menus, its just stupid. So i have to constantly save to not risk losing any progress made but consistently have to redo 5 to 10 minute bursts because I have to get from one save point to another. (Don't bother blaming my build, its literally the best of the best available, i cannot upgrade any piece of the build as no better hardware exists at the time of writing this.) If you want to play it... go for it, but pick it up on console they seem to be more stable. The frequency and sporadicness of the crashing make me question any review that doesn't notate it, Not one person i know has played without a crash on PC and its so bad for some they've completely abandoned the game. I know someone playing on PS4 with 0 issue so thats a good platform as I hear it.

Story - Oh man, I can’t come up with a proper way to explain how bad this story is! The easiest way to describe it is, this game was never intended to have a story this long when it was first made the writers weren’t expecting to come back a dozen more times with story updates, and it is obvious. The game has a great mechanic for this in the “Disney” franchising as they can just have the disney element of any given world add a new chunk of story and dialogue that is self contained and will be solved within that same world. The problem with this is that the story is heavily reliant on a movie that many players have probably scene. Its best described by “Video Game Dunkey” as “Watching a Disney movie where someone fast forwards through the story and stops at a few select scenes, but the in game characters tell you what you missed”. Im going to go so far as to say this game is the absolute “Worst Video Game Story Ever”. - Straight up 0/10 Game Play: Side - We will be splitting this in to two parts, side and main content. For the side content I am talking all things not combat and story involved. The game has a major amount of things to do that come off as mini games or optional events. The returning champion here is the “Gummi” ship, a portion that plays like a starfox style rail shooter in SPACE… Vastly improved from the previous games, this is now a free exploration shooter similar in feel to bring the classic “asteroid” into a modern 3D game. Exploration, leveling, bosses, missions and hidden secrets (not all that secret) it’s more flushed out, but its also “required” if you want the Ultima weapon and a Platinum trophy. I know this will effect some people but im fairly neutral to this, it features the hardest boss fight in the game and is not bad but its just not Kingdom Hearts and it kind of impacted the level of immersion you could feel with the actual game. The smaller side and mini games are vast but not as flushed out. You have; Cooking with Remy from Ratatouille, snowboarding in Arandell, Playing Superman 64 in SanFransokyo (who would try to replicate Superman 64 what were you thinking). Dancing with Rapunzel, Mech combat in Toy Story, bejeweled in 100 acre wood, Sailin the Carribean. They range from tedious to fun with the most personal joy coming from being a pirate and the gummi missions. Sadly they were all a little too easy and had some simplistic and one dimensional mechanics and just lacked substance. Game Play: Main - No major complaints, it is quite enjoyable, flushed out, and involved despite using almost 2 buttons exclusively. The effects and flow of the combat is nothing to scoff at and many developers are far behind KH3 when it comes to fluid combat. The issue is… it’s too easy. Playing on “Proud”, as hard as it gets, i ran into no combat issues. It wasn’t until the very end i realized i had never died in the game. You have two things that trigger before you die that prevent death and full heal your character. It makes everything just a little too easy. In previous titles there was a plethora of Post game bosses that got quite difficult and even when playing the remakes they stayed hard. Despite this in KH3 there is one secret boss post game and he is a laughably easy event. I clicked through the warning window and came out victorious on my first try with 0 preparation and 30 levels below max level of 99. I wasn’t using the ultimate keyblade and still didn’t even use have to use both of the life saving options the game hands to you. 6/10 Sound/Music - The majority of the songs are popular Disney songs that you’ve probably heard a billion times. You also have the characters saying the same 2 or 3 lines constantly while exploring and within an hour of being in any zone i resorted to turning the sound off in favor of something less repetitive. The Classical pieces from Square Enix were nice and usually only used for one scene giving some redemption. 3/10 Level Design/Graphics - Beautiful and flushed out, most every level was a wonder to explore and quite beautiful to look at. The promise of the levels being giant and sprawling seems true at first glance but the mini map dictates to you that it’s not actually much larger than the previous titles and with the update to the speed at which Sora can traverse the levels it ends up coming out pretty equal to KH2 in just how big it actually feels. As a whole this may be the truly best part of the game and i hope the design team gets some praise internally cause their hard work shows and it was worth it. 9/10 In the end, everything felt unfinished. The vast array of mini games and change ups in game play were ok at first but by the end everything was kind of a let down because there was no challenge or substance. it was like they put everything into expositing the story at you and it just wasn't a good story.

Do Not purchase this game for more than $20. Easily the shortest JRPG I've ever encountered, if you count the revisitable screens its 11, towns is 3, there are like 2 or 3 dungeons that you only get to be in while you are in that part of the story. The majority of the main story could be accomplished in 10 hours less if you could skip the boring cutscenes. They do an entire space battle through the cunning use of dialogue. "Fire torpedoes, we've taken down the enemy." I hope you enjoyed your amazing space battle that visually was a wall of a ship." This alone makes it the worst star ocean game ive ever played, the worst JRPG ive ever played, and the worst PS4 game. You couldn't **** animate a space battle for us to watch... really? **** REALLY? why do i sit in a **** room doing nothing, where is my space battle this is star **** ocean. I just recently became the lucky owner of this game... I don't know if i can do a review that gives justice to this game. Normally i would assess the game on its individual merits but this game is too good for this, I will just discuss all things that are amazing. Affinity system and all things relating interaction amongst the PC and NPC of the game. The daunting size of the world and quest system, the beautiful scenery and amazing views, the depth of the world **** you in like no other RPG has ever done. The world itself being 2 huge colossi that are dormant after an epic battle is quite possibly the greatest world I have ever encountered. I cannot stress enough that this game is absolutely amazing in all aspects and will leave you playing for well over 100 hours.

Please forgive this review it is part of my desire to strengthen my reviewing prowess and is the first all multiplayer game I am reviewing. (Also MetaCritic was crashing hard when posting this) Sorry if it looks weird I couldn't get it to work so many times. Gameplay/Playability - Can I just put a 10 and call it good? I’ve never played a game with more addicting gameplay. There is a reason this Mod Birthed five games and a new genre of gaming. It is addictive. The constant updates mean that after a Six month break it will be vastly different. The game is hard, and requires time and effort but it will reward you for it. I could spend years discussing the finer side of the gameplay of this game and the way it evolves over time without breaking the surface. 10 Sound – Routinely impressive. The sound quality is great, music to fit the mood and the voice work is incredible. There are well past 90 characters each with multiple layers of voice work. Heroes in the game have lines to interact with each other as they: Walk past each other (friend or enemy), kill a hero, fight a hero and run, assist in killing a hero, survive a big attack. The spells and hero motions become so resourceful that you can react to a sound from a hero well out of sight who is en-route to murder you. Yet you hear it coming and run. Honestly the part of the game that most of the community ignores but it is such a strong factor in the gameplay. 10 Graphics – It is beautiful and graphics intense. Think WoW level of spell textures and scenery/shadows. You need some power to crank this game to full and it will be beautiful and worth it. 10 Story (Community!) – Seeing as this is multiplayer and has no story I will call this Community for this game. The community is crap, I’ve played potentially tens of thousands of hours at this point since the release of Dota Mod back in Warcraft 3. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that ever massive arrogant **** in the world is playing DOTA 2, Right Now! The game is riddled with terrible attitudes and bad sportsmanship. Your games will start with someone who sits in dead silence waiting to last pick then rages at everyone because something happened that they disagree with, these items that invoke such rage would usually be prevented with a simple amount of effort or giving a **** but they would rather stay silent and flame everyone when they don’t get there way. The developers are of no help and have done nothing to fix this issue in three years. At this point im not 100% sure this is a game, it could be a social experiment based on anonymity and arrogance. 0 Replay ability – The game is nothing if not replay-able. With matches averaging around 45 minutes there is nothing to prevent a person from sinking hours of their life into just one more match. 10

The Order: 18862
Feb 23, 2015
The Order: 1886 - Gameplay/Playability – I will probably lose anyone who tied themselves to this game prior to playing it, but this isn’t a game. Many people compare it to currently existing episodic releases from TellTale games as a Story driven game. The game strips gameplay for street cred and hipster flair. Meeting Tesla, being a Knight of the Round Table, the Steam Punk punk, Vampire & Lycan wars, Conspiracy theories (which are of course always true in gaming). The game felt like someone rushed to piece together all the big ticket games of 2013 + 2014 to make a sweet tech demo. There is shooting, which I personally couldn’t get behind as it all felt extremely scripted and a majority of it goes into QTE that aren’t about measuring reaction time so much as making sure the movie you watch is very intense. Im going to go by the fact that as far as a 6 hour game is concerned I only need my controller half the time and of the time I was using my controller it was very minimal, usually around 2 buttons or joystick only. – 4 (No bugs or fails just boring) S – Sound quality was great but nothing amazing, no amazing songs, no amazing sound in all it was a very hit the AAA standard moment for them on this. – 6 Graphics – They are definitely next gen and definitely console. It’s pretty, however if this is a selling point for you then buy a PC otherwise you will be lacking on the greatest available graphics. – 6 Graphics are good but still console and still not anything awe inspiring when compared to last gen. Story – Ugh… Can we just call it a self-indulgent rip off of most every video game movie in the genre it’s trying to hit? If you are up on Pop culture of any aspect of the game it will have not one original moment and as with all video games the writing is just a bit clichéd and saddening only because it is trying so very hard. – 2 It has a story and they attempted to make it flow and makes sense minus the drop off of so many thing. Replayability – If anyone tells you this game has replay ability they are lying to you or they are trying way too hard to defend this game. Like all story driven games its really one and done. Most of the gunfights happen in narrow one room hallways or artificially opened corridors. It is very linear and defined, It would be like saying you want to watch a 6 hour movie again that occasionally pauses the movie for you so you have to push play again. Once is enough for me – 0 Though it averages close to a 4 Im docking 2 additional points for the developer’s reaction to criticism. The game is only 6 hours for them to say it was 10+ is an insult to gamers, it means they assume were too dumb to follow written prompts or so desperate to explore everything that we will check out floor grain textures for 4 hours. Also never compare steak to a video game, they are hugely different. Final score 2 – Its more of a movie then a game. Check out a good Lets Player.

Apr 3, 2014
As the game opens, we see our hero rebelling like any normal angst filled teenager, making "elaborate" graffiti work on pictures of his loving family. Just don't mind the fact that he is well over twenty and his antics are the definition of childish. The opening of the game says everything you would need to know. It is an under developed child trapped in an adult body. Visually you will be deceived but as you become acquainted you quickly grasp just how underdeveloped and mentally lacking the game truly is. The game brings nothing new to the infamous table, the protagonist gets 4 powers each of which contains the same spells: A ranged attack (like a gun), a sprint, a ranged power attack (grenade), and a melee attack combo, and a finishing move that removes all difficulty or thought. The only thing that each individual power does is change the particle effect surrounding that move. I guess they also add an extra grind to the game farming all 5 of your moves 4 times is a much cheaper way to make a game then giving you 20 unique powers... so I gotta give the developers their points for that. Cole brought a lot to the table in the previous games with more abilities in his 1 conduit power. Delsin brings a small fraction to the table with 4 powers, he makes up for this though with his angst and hipster beenie. 1.0 Graphically the game is definitely the beginning of a next gen, its very polished and runs smoothly but nothing mind blowing, it pulls out the bare minimum it should be with the power it has behind it. Other games have already pushed the graphics and frame rate to much higher calibers then this game dares to. It is a let down as they had so much potential but left it high and dry. 1.0 The sound work in the game is definitely the best part, it does not disappoint in the slightest, each power gets a unique sound set, the different sounds are integrated beautifully and play simultaneously in a way that makes the world feel more realistic then any previous game could hope to do. The voice work is acceptable with some of the cheesy or cliche writing getting in the way, but over all this is the most inspiring part of the game. Its just too bad they couldn't pick some better songs and give it a story. The sound is good but it has no backbone to stand with. 8.0 The game starts fairly strong giving you new powers and pushing you along, but forgets major portions of what a game must have. A purpose, the game is so lacking in this point. early in the game the antagonist has the hero trapped and tortures his people. Augustine is a no holds bar villain from the very beginning a cruel woman that tortures innocent villagers to learn of your secret conduit abilities. Yet she does NOTHING with this information. She simply leaves you in your bed, because why not. The game doesn't have just 1 glaring inconsistency, it seems each mission was written by completely different people with nothing but a cliff note to go off of for previous missions and story. By the end of the game there was no way of knowing what the intended story was supposed to be, large chunks of the story seem to be missing completely. Delsin is tasked with doing something to help bring down the DUP but is quickly met with a new mission talking about new characters and developing a new plot line which is left to dry on a clothesline and never returned too. A good 60% of the game has nothing to do with the main story, just a side character wanting help with their problems then you jump back to main story which has progressed without your involvement or knowledge. I would call it a story but was left with jay dropping shock by the blatant disregard to keep anything consistent. 0 Finally the part everyone cares about. Game play and replay - I finished the game with a playtime of 5:47 minutes. I fully unlocked 4 of the (I wanna say 13 zones but can't be bothered to turn it on... just too disappointed) I left all the other zones at the final step before they are clear (the showdowns). I had a friend come over and just play the story at streamlined speeds. It was incredible how fast he finished a whopping 4 hours and 12 minutes. The game play is lacking entirely there are 4 types of missions 1 that require you kill DUP agents, and the 3 that require nothing but quick filler. As far as replayability goes these missions are it a whopping 4 mission types that you have to do 13 times each. Thats the entire game. THey force some of them on you to prolong the story as you cannot unlock certain story missions until you have killed some DUP forces. So if you want to play wheres waldo in a 20 foot circle with 7 people or spray paint 13 walls with tags, then what are you waiting for this game literally has everything you've ever wanted. There is a set of missions where you listen to audio logs but they are independent and completely pointless. In all I'd say wait it out the game is not worth $60 and is not a good start for the PS4's life.

Might & Magic X: Legacy3

Im here to save you time and money... Don't bother with this game. Everything great about the previous games has been lost. The pacing is out of control bad, with day shifting happening in mere moments of walking around town. Resting has been destroyed the open world joy is gone because its all turn based grid movement all the time. Classic and iconic Might and magic is completely ruined. If you have no life and don't like gameplay that is fast and measured by seconds this is the game for you. it will take hours to do the simplest and most boring tasks like walking across the world to get from one group to another.

There is a reason those 2 neg reviews have not said anything. They can't possibly tarnish this game without the world knowing they are trolling. Gameplay: 10 - The pacing is amazing, the combat is different then any other game and works beautifully, you gain rewards often and none of them are too powerful or underwhelming. Combat flows well, puzzles are rewarding. Graphics: Beautiful, different, a treat for the eyes. Sound: Sound effects are great and music is insanely well matched to the game. Entertainment levels: At maximum! The game is very fun with a lot of side quests to keep the player busy and entertained. Worth the money and so much more.

Just avoid this game. The hype was unjustified beyond reason. Started the game on the Very Hard difficulty (the hardest of 4 difficulties) within 11 hours of gameplay I was on the second to last mission (had to check due to problem that will occur further into the review). This gameplay flew by the whole time I was thinking this has to get harder Im trying for difficulty but no matter what my approach, stealth or combat I found that nothing was an issue. Walking into a square with 12 people took them all down with 1 skill didn't need a weapon or any of the other fancy things the game offered. The entire game came down to blink on them push attack cut their face off and repeat. Health and mana potions were beyond abundant. I always seemed to have all full potions full health full mana and an abudance of ammo and money. As I progressed getting ever more bored and distraught with the game, I reached a massively game breaking error. The 2nd to last level you do (a very specific thing) and are met with a cutscene this is followed by a loading screen, Every time the loading screen ended it would replay the same cutscene and go straight back into the loading screen after 14 hours of leaving it on to load and attempting to restart to try loading again I finally gave up. The games setting was nothing new and nothing else offered by the game made me even remotely interested in restarting in an attempt to get past that bug. The game is extremely dissatisfying and should be avoided. Gameplay 0 - The stealth mechanics are shotty, the AI is hilarious in its levels of bad, the originality is non-existent, Combat is laughable in its ease, Character development is non existent as well. Insanely short! Concept 1- The game offers nothing new just a mesh and swarm of everything that's been done before put into 1 game, the sad part is every game it is using as inspiration is longer and has much more depth to every aspect that was "stolen". Sound 0- Turned it off within 10 minutes, music was dull and never matched the pace of the game, sound quality during all game mechanics was the same... time always slows down, blink possess, opening menus, using any of your powers, blocking, swinging your sword... they all had the same sound effect of time slowing down. Play ability - 0 - Game glitched tot he point where beating it became a physical impossibility no game that does this will ever be awarded anything but an absolute 0 in this category. In addition to this massive bug there are little ones that I constantly noticed around the game. Things like getting shot by a guy holding nothing but a sword, or killing someone only to have their dead body kill you as well (death by cutscene into they somehow managed to shoot while you were ripping their face off). Replay -0- I dont think I would ever replay this game, I couldn't be bothered to replay it to see the ending of it and the only other 2 people I know agree that its so easy on the hardest difficulty that there is no reason to replay it. Overall .25 which will be rounded down because they lose 1 point for un playable game. If I could neg this game I would.

Diablo III0

Played the game for 10 hours with a bunch of my friends. By the time I finished Act 2 I had 0 desire to log back into the game. I honestly consider this game a waste of 60 dollars. The ten hours I did play weren't fun so much as a way to waste time. There is no PvP of any kind, There are no RPG aspects to make leveling an event worth succeeding in. Every single character has access to every single spell and no one plays anything different then you, even if they do, it will never matter to you as PvP is non-existent. The servers are riddled with issues and you can't play in a single player mode offline, so when the server goes down the game is over for you. There is no story and what some people do call story is a joke. The graphics are out dated by computer game standards and the gameplay hasn't been changed in any way from the previous games created by blizzard. The scenery is boring and makes for a bland experience no matter what area of the game you are in. The final straw of this game comes in the form of the real money auction house. As it was released the desired goal of Blizzard was made clear. This game is literally a means for them to make money off of people buying items to win the game. Everyone purchases the best available items at extremely high costs (it was attack speed based weapons, costing 250+ per weapon) after millions of dollars had been transferred in this way they nerfed attack speed (silently) then started the selling over. If you want a game that costs you hundreds and hundreds to win, then Diablo 3 is the game for you. If you want a game that is fun, has a good story, Interactive and interesting gameplay, Multiplayer with PVP. Then look to any other game, none of those will be found here.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time5

It is an amazing game... However it is the same game as 4 of its predecessors and was followed by one of the best and most original games in the series since Link to the past. Ocarina of time did the same thing as link to the past but cut out substance for graphics. Fewer items, fewer side quests, fewer dungeons, fewer secrets, less varied world and less manipulating the game for speed runs (without the hacks) and had most of the same bad guys. It was than followed by Majora's mask which was original with a new story, a new villain, new items and some of the most exciting side quests I've seen. Not to mention the fierce Deities mask which was and is my favorite item in the series thus far.
