Right up my alley! Brutally difficult and punishing in the beginning, but as you gain experience and slowly build your reputation the game opens up. I also love that the characters feel like they actually live there, no one is particularly happy (except from mud) and no one thinks you’re going to survive more than a day. I’ve had a few bugs and two crashes in 20 hours of gameplay, but nothing game breaking and certainly not anything that’s rare in a rpg game. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s into action rpgs. Only reason I won’t give it a ten is because it’s unreal engine 5, so it’s poorly optimized and it has the typical lumen artifacts of ”boiling” in poorly lit areas.

I’m a souls veteran and this is my opinions. Pros: Great graphics and art design Cons: Bad audio design, bad level design, floaty combat, horrible co-op and online play overall. People complaining about performance are exaggerating. I would only play this if I had nothing else to play, and there is always something else to play.

To call starfield an open-world rpg would be the equivalent of calling a chihuahua a great guard dog. It thinks it’s a big open-world rpg but it’s really a very linear corridor shooter with ALOT of loading screens. Anytime you feel tired of a main character and you try to kill them it turns out they’re “essential” for the storyline so you really can’t do anything to anyone when you want to. You might be able to kill them later but who knows or cares. Most of the time you’re just following a blue quest marker and you’ve skipped all the worthless dialogue because you just want to shoot something. They’ve also added ship building, outpost building and weapon upgrade system and unless you like to farm **** for stuff you don’t need then it’s completely useless. What’s good about it? It has decent gunplay and once you’ve gotten some points into better ship combat then that’s decent aswell. The main story is also decent, actually better than Skyrim and fallout 4, but nothing amazing. I could go on and on about all the negative stuff about this game but there are tons of videos on YouTube, just search for “starfield is creatively bankrupt” and “Todd Howard caught lying about starfield”, you’ll se very quickly what I’m talking about. Play baldurs gate 3 instead if you’re after a real RPG game because this ain’t it.

I spent around 150 hours in this game close to launch and my feelings for this game have rapidly declined since then. Diablo 4 has a strong foundation with nice graphics, fluid animation and great art style so there is still plenty of hope left, but in its current state I cannot recommend it to anyone. Here is what’s wrong, so take note Blizzard employees: 1. Microtransactions in a full-price game. Your ludicrously priced armors should be earned from bosses etc, when all the cool stuff is in the shop the incentive to play is reduced. 2. You think by making the game slower and “grindy” players will stay for longer when in fact it has the opposite effect; it just becomes a chore to play. 3. Your mission structure is incredibly repetitive, it feels like I’m just searching for prisoners all the time. 4. Your open world is boring. It has no secrets to uncover so exploration has no feeling of exploring, if that makes sense. So overall: stop trying to minimize effort and maximize profit, focus on making a great game. There is passion here, but it’s overshadowed by greedy corporate practices.

If you want your bank account **** and want to be treated poorly by blizzard then play Diablo Immortal.

Pretentious plot that needs the characters to force feed you exposition through lengthy cutscenes so you know why you run with bags on your back across the country, but it stills doesnt make any god damn sence. i've played for 5 hours and it hasnt been fun for a second of it so im not giving it any more of my time. The best way i can explain the traversal in this game is to compare it to spider-man PS4. Remember how the web slinging was so fun you never used the fast travel system? This is the complete opposite. Sam is a slow and grumpy piece of **** that doesnt know how to keep his balance with a backpack on. im not interested in the reasons why you cant fly helicopters in this game, or why bodies explode after death or why you need to burn them at a specific spot. There is no humor to be found in this game, everyone is super **** serious all the time and act like the edgy cool anime guy. **** me this game is bad.

Ive put almost 100 hours into this game now and now i can tell you what **** and whats good. The only thin im going to say about the bugs is that im stunned that CD Project shipped the game in this poor state. Whatever happened to "Coming: When its ready"??? I've lost all trust in that aspect to them. I begin whith the first thing you experience: Graphics. Is it any good? Well, yes and no. Very uneven. Some parts of the game look amazing and the citys architecture is fenominal, but everything that isnt tied to the main story or the side missions have a noticable lower graphical standard and the difference is too big its distracting. Sound design is the same way. The sounds that are there are phenomenal and the music is captivating but then there are actions that completely lack sound like breaking certain windows and crafting makes no sound at all. The stories told in this game are slightly above avarage but nothing a will reflect upon. There is no satisfaction after completing a questline like when youve done something in the Witcher 3 for example. The biggest problem this game has though is the main character V and his/hers trusty sidekick Keanu. V is the most generic character ive seen in a videogame since Cole from the first two infamous games. Grizzly voiced tough guy with a heart of gold paired with an overrated actor that has only put out mindless action movies the past decade that pops in out of nowhere to say something snarky. Either you have a silent protaganist like in skyrim, or you give us a character that already has a story and a real personality. Gun play is suprisingly good, i thought that aspect of the game would be bad and the role playing would be good but its completely reversed. Guns have a real kick to them and shooting holes and limb off of people have never been this much fun. The cyberware is a good way to customize your character to how you want to play. Wanna be a sneaky netrunner who hacks into people and things or do you want to be a superfast ninja that cuts people up without anyone has the time to react? The choice is yours. So if youre looking for an futuristic action game with a decent story then i would highly recoment this, just dont expect to be **** into an amazing story of how cyberenhancments is changing us as people, its not there.

I really wanted to like this game because of the great shooting and good co-op mechanics but its bogged down by horrible level design, low enemy variety and very limited selections of weapons and armor. The high point of the game are the bossfights, but everything in between just feels like running through a corridoor shooting targets. After 10 hours i had played enough. If the game had better level design with good reasons to explore the levels like random rare encounters or loot, more weapons and armors with randomized stats and attributes and more enemy variety this could have been a 10 out of 10 game, one of those games you can just play with your buddies for hours on end for years, but it falls short. Dont pay anything more than 10 dollars on this game because its not worth it.

Pretty graphics but thats pretty much it. The game is an insult to story telling in general. Uninteresting characters? check. Plot holes? check. Dumb character decisions for the sake of making the story fit a narrative? check. Beaten over the head over and over again with the cliché narrative "vengeance is bad"? check. Insultingly badly written male characters to the point that im asking myself if this game is feminist propaganda? check. The gameplay is fine, but it didnt innovate anything from the first game so i wont give it any points for that, its basically more of the same but they removed the puzzles. Just stay away from this piece of **** game.

Thankfully i didnt buy this, but from what ive seen its an updated graphics pack for 30 dollars, and in some cases a graphics downgrade. And Blizzard outsourced the work for the new models to malaysia... This is the worst attempt of a cash grab ive seen in a long time.

I just finnished the game and im changing my review. I expected alot more. The enemies are repetetive and the camera is pure cancer. The only memorable bossfight is the dragon which isnt even that hard to beat. The story is ok, but it fell short. Just when you think the game is going to take off the game ends, like, WTF? IS THIS IT? The game has some really memorable moments but if youre expecting Big fights with large monster bosses like the previous god of war games you will be dissapointed. The 10 out of 10 reviews are obviously paid by sony because there is no way all these critics are this blind. Its a decent game but not a 10/10
