Game is fun and feels large and epic. Entitled snowflakes like to hate as it gives them clicks and self importance feelings, but the game is simply a really good game. 6 million players and 1 thousand snowflakes screaming on their reviews. Anyway; Game can improve a lot with mods and DLCs. Just compare Skyrim in 2011 and Skyrim fully modded today. Bethesda games are built with all this in consideration. I feel my money was well spent.

Game was refunded on STEAM. Just feels cheap; bad animations, bad game loop... Regulars enemies are too easy, "special" enemies or bosses take you down fast and you have to enter "souls mode" and keep dodging and rolling and.... Game feels indeed like a PS1 game from 2001. Story is ridiculous.. just a bunch of text in white letters while you are shooting faceless and countless enemies. STAY AWAY, i'm a huge mech fan and bought it instantly, but can't find it fun at all. You never feel like you are piloting a mech.. more like you "are" wearing a badly animated mech suit.

Game has dumbed down mechanics hidden behind weird stats just to provoke grinding and give the illusion of a complex system. You have critical hits.. you have "Skill X gives 20% chance.." AND you also have.. LUCKY chance. The classes are dumbed down, 6 skill only, boring things. I HATE I spent so much for so little. Game feels like a Diablo Immortal sequel with less online mobile BS but still WAY less than a game that costs 1/4 of a minimum wage in my country should. I tried all classes up to 40s.. and never had fun. Ended uninstalling this sad thing.

The quest structure is a mess. You just finish 3 quests in a monster hub and the SAME NPC says "oh, please, now go back there and do some more stuff with THE SAME MONSTERS you just killed a ton". It happens in MOST areas! Renowns and "Factions" are really not interesting. A few quests are actually good and visuals are ok. Dragonriding is ok, but dumb. You cant brake or slow down, so most times people are "crashing" at the ground at full speed just to land. AND your drakes are more like gliders.. they cant really fly.. just glide. It's an interesting mechanic that makes NO SENSE in game. This expansion just feels "ok" cause Shadowlands was a pile of boring . . . stuff.

The game had a few bugs, nothing gamebreaking, when launched. But It was expected, given that nothing as big as FO4VR had ever been made on PC-VR. And this is my main praise for this game. Together with SkyrimVR, they make all other VR games look like tech demos. I have my VIVE for 3 years and these are the only real games I come back to replay every 6 months or so. I repeat, so far there is NOTHING as large, grand and still beautifull to look at, as FO4VR and SkyrimVR. I'm more of a fallout player. IF you have VR and enjoy open world games, you MUST play FO4VR. Dont let poorly made reviews of "jittery" or "bad graphics" discourage you. Some people were comparing this games graphics with the pancake version. This game is, as of 2021, one of the only real VR huge games. The others are all party games like saber blade. AND on 2021 your hardware most probably will handle the game WAY better than when it launched and a GTX1070 was one of the best available. I'm signing off to play again. ps: No bethesda fanboy here. I Greatly enjoyed the game. NOT as much as the original trilogy but like 70% as much. THE ONE THING I HATED was that I decided to buy on launch and ended the game really fast. THEN they patched in a bunch of stuff that was problematic. INCLUDING cutscenes and animations. So I am really pissed that my experience was actually a lot worse than if I had waited a month before buying.
