Crazy and much confusing story, but well known for the developer. Maybe a little to much to me. I loved AW1 cause of the balance of story and gameplay. Here the part of the story and the derivation of the meaning of the story is in focus and none gameplay scenes overweights a bit. Apart of that a few oddball comedic sequences, which are undoubtedly intended to offer some relief from the otherwise somber paranormal horror subject. Overdosed, in my opinion. I didn't want that. I would have liked a little more gameplay here. Anyway a nearly perfect horror game in a Remedy universe, with very pretty and up2date graphics technologies. Lots of atmosphere in truly immersive locations.

The game all in all is simply too good overall to be judged as mediocre, even tho some shortcomings are noticeable. Graphics, in any case, are simply breathtaking (at least on the highest settings in WQHD or 4K) and worth a screenshot at least every 5 minutes. A big plus, there is almost always a stealth option to complete a quest or when simply moving inside the open world. Additionally some tactical procedures, not alone executed by a tiny cute friend you will simply love and which is by your side the whole game. Greets from here, Nix. In my opinion, the story isn't really predictable, but all in all it's a bit thin and too ordinary. But we know that from the movies. So what, I kept the main fokus on playing a game in a wonderful setting, not consuming a movie. All in all, from my perspective, a very successful open-world game in a Star Wars universe, only without lightsabers but with one or two familiar characters or known races from the popular film series. But for a 100 of 100 it simply isn't varied or innovative enough, also the weapon- and skill system is a bit weak and the fights against opponents??...well, I would not really call this shooter fightings, so a good 80 of 100 for a nice and easy, good looking action RPG in a familiar Star Wars setting.

To play this game you need nerves of steel, endurance and espacially frustration resistance. The game principle reminds hard off games like Alien:Isolation . It generates a ot of immersion and really makes you in a mood, because of the very realistic gameplay. The graphic is less good. Very old -fashioned, but anyway still atmospheric for this setting cause of some nice lights and shadow effects. Unfortunalty no HDR support cause of OGL API. I would wish at least a Vulkan engine. The Game is very short but the mod compatibility is great. You can download some new campaigns from moddb in www for no money, if you like the game principle and play on. Thumbs up for that.

Atmospheric, straight and classic Horror Shooter in TP view like Dead Space. For me camera view in TP takes a lot of getting used to, I don't really like it, because there´s too much character in the field of view, that irritates a lot. 10/10 for integrating multi audio langauge support. Thanks a lot for that. 10/10 for immersion. Specially if you turn on all existing effects like f.e. raytracing on "Quality" and with high res the environment looks awsome and real. Story and Dialogs: Story isn´t that hard to follow (like ever in horror genre), so most fokus on gameplay and athmopshere. Dialogs are pretty cool, even in audio of my native language it´s a 10/10. Good work to all sync speakers.

With all respect for the developers, I thought I was getting a shooter in good graphics at a bargain price. What I got was a retro style Shooter with a polished Half Life optics, to which a few modern effects were added. In the videos and pictures, the game definitely looked more interesting. And the gameplay? ... as i mentioned, classic Shooter style. I returned it to Steam and will buy it again von 0.99 Cent sometime.

2025: 10/10 for the campaign mode as SP. DI2 is in deed a straight zombie slay and shoot game. But I would even more say it´s max "effective". It´s got all you wan´t from a zombie game with a straight campaign mode and some interesting sides missions. Fast action, gory zombie athmosphere in a clean sunny Hollywood moviestars-setting with a partial open world and night or day feature incl fats travel options. Only weather effects are missing. But as the saying goes, "it never rains in ca......" Cool NPC and dialogs and a bunch of hack and slay or shooting weapons with several characters to choose. All with different skills levels for a different way of playthrough. And who guessed, you can even sneak partially. And no really big boss fights. Nothing to complain about the graphics and the all in all performance. HDR ready. Only Nvidia DLSS was missing here. I´m pretty sure i won´t start a second playthrough, but I´m sure I buy me the story DLC soon.

This is a must have for all players loving hide and sneak in a game. Even if the charakter controlling part on pc takes some getting used to for a fp and tp stealth player like me. This did cause a few moments of frustration, but I still really enjoyed playing it. Story is kind of Welles´ 1984 **** with a confused story telling and leaves the player to often back confused about what to think about it all. It additionally can cause problems if you don't understand english very well and the subtitles whiz by like a fast train. Guess for most players it takes more then one walkthrough to get the whole story. How ever this remaster version coming in all 5 episodes is cult, even in 2025. Thumps up for it.

Unfortunately, I have to say that this game is far from being a perfectly developed shooter. Too long development time with too few real positive results. Some game mechanics where intergrated but never get fully sophisticated. So to much time I was standing with a big "how to" question mark above the head. Many negatives so. But from my point of view as a big singleplayer shooter fan, even 2025, the special atmosphere and gameplay - albeit very classic - or precisely BECAUSE it's very classic, makes up for it. Simply said, i loved playing this game, whether on the first playthrough right after release or the second, after development was completed as the Devs told. It's a bit a shame that it took so long for a halfway complete game to emerge. Anyway 8/10 for a very nice and special fp shooter experience.

Simple but very nice looking FC5 spin off with known FC gameplay but in a slimmed down version. Focused on sneaking in a slim open world scenario though the vietnamese jungle, infiltrating and conquering bases and trying to finish 100% challenges. It´s real simple gameplay, but nevertheless very funny. For max immersion just try to keep in mind, you are an american GI sneaking in the vietnamese jungle and charlie is all arround you. So watch out, they are shooting sharp once you triggered them. Negatives: Unfortunaltly a bit short

I have to say, I love movies that don't explain themselves through the story, for example Cube1 1997. I do the same with computer games. It's not a horror first-person shooter with puzzle mechanisms, but the other way around. Great atmosphere, great graphics, and much disturbing. Unfortunately a bit short playing time. Nevertheless absolutely recommendable.

Fun, also in 2024. This game offers some good vibes for the good old terminator theme of the first movie. Its a quit simple game with simple gameplay and game-mechanism, a conventional old school shooter. Graphics are ok, but not spectacular, performance is good.

It´s 2024 and i liked to play this game. Even if the textures are no longer as fresh, there is nothing wrong with the way the characters move. I like games in the Ubisoft Open Worlds style. However, the content of this game is a bit more limited here. A straight open world shooter, as it was usual at the time, with no overloaded frills. A few little flaws and bugs don't spoil the game experience at all for me.

I cant deny, i pretty liked to play it, even as one of the old faction gamers well knowing the good old Wolfenstein 3D and RtCW. But all in all it´s not worth a full game price . To less content for that. Nevertheless i give this game 8/10, cause i had a lot a fun with it, beeing in game arround 80h. Graphics looks cool and the game runs a oiled -thanks to the Vulkan API- with a RTX 3070 in 1440p maxed out +DLSS.

Measured by the entire content of the game you're missing a bit here to really get close to the contents of an AAA game. Graphically and atmospherically, related to the authentic environment and events of Thernobyl and the reactor disaster, the game gets a full 10/10 from me. Both together really creates maximum immersion. However, there are some shortcomings and annoying things in the game here and there that stop me from given a fully positiv review. Nevertheless, the game was a lot of fun and I'm glad I bought it. But I don't see any re-play value here.

Ubisoft did some to make this game stand out from the monotony of the previous games. I like it. I mean, there's a lot to do in the world if you like, including cool co-op sessions. The setting is pretty with a nice graphics. Just like FC3, tropical flair generates enough athmosphere for immersive gameplay. The game offers a lot of stuff to earn and motivates to equip items with a lot of useful perks/effect, reminds me a bit on Bethesda games like Fallout or Skyrim. Not so fine: AI is relatively stupid, but in a higher difficulty mode aggressive enough to provide some challenge in combat. The story? Well i´ts a regular Farcry scene. You are the good an theres a bad ass who wants to rule everything with some shady methods. Pretty realistic in relation to the south american setting. No perfect new inovated FarCry game, but enough motivation to play it till the end and on after you finished the story kampagne.

SGW Contracts 1 is still a good stealth sniper game in 2023. Not too difficult but not too easy either. A good balance of difficulty to be challenged but also to have some relaxed fun and even for non-genre players well playable. The Skillsystem isn´t very challenging and weapon/Item selection is manageable but large enough for some variety in the approach to the contracts. The graphics are really pretty and the performance is good, even in 2023. The only drawback of the CryEngine is the lack of anti-aliasing on objects that are more than 10 meters away. The optional challenges and collectibles, or optional bounty hunts per mission bring additional excitement and motivation to play a contract more then one time. I will definitly buy Contacts 2 at times. This game is currently worth a maximum of 15-20 EUR in 2023.

This special concept makes the game very interesting and somehow I can't stop playing. Monotonous? Yes. Gameplay is a bit monotonous but never boring. It's a kind of "delivering simulator" with some parts of action. These action parts make the game really exiting and challenging and it pushes you to level up for useful items and skills. Graphic is great and up2date. Setting is realistc and very atmospheric, but a little bit empty. So developers integratetd a multiplayer part to interact with other players but without seeing them in the world. However it works. Can also be played in singleplayer without these aspects but activated online mode at any time. However, I'm sure not to play through this game twice. This game is definitely a developer's masterpiece. Finally someone who dares to break new ground in tripple A category, even if it's not 100 percent perfect.

As always, you have to get into the game and get over the mental hurdle of it beeing an ordinary Far Cry without much innovation. In the end, it's the better Far Cry 5, with more beautiful and colorful graphics, great HDR effects, and less story- and mission overloaded. So it's only half a Far Cry in terms of mapsize and design, missions, weapons and story depth, but I personally enjoy it more than the main game FC5, just because it is NOT so cluttered. Btw: Game works fluffy on a GTX 1080 and 1440p with FPS arround 70-80.

After a rather disappointing familiarization, I really enjoyed Breakpoint in Single Player. 350 hours of playtime. Graphically a masterpiece by Ubisoft. The huge map promises some variety in terms of terrain and the day and night rhythm really creates atmosphere. The game should be played in unguided mode on hard, then it feels very immersive and is big challenge and forces you to use the many different classes and their diffrent advantages. Biggest criticism: Ubisoft had to release quite a few patches before the game really became a serious competitor to its predecessors. If you want to play it, be sure to buy the Year One Edition.
