Pokemon Scarlet / Pokemon Violet Dual Pack Steelbook Edition4
Nov 21, 2022
This is basically to talk about the game that has two versions as a whole since you do encounter different Pokémon, and wear different uniforms; but they play the same. The open world and large items list are the positives. I would love to see those in the Kanto-, Jouto, Houen, and Shin'ou Pokémon games. The adventuring freedom like being able to challenge different gyms is fun as you are not blocked away from paths. The auto battling makes leveling up quick when you have better type matchups. You are able to buy type-boosting items and Mints with either money and League Points you have from beating trainers and getting Pokémon. You can also craft TMs. The physics are the negatives. Everything flickers, you tend to teleport to far spots when you send your Pokémon out to battle, and you can get stuck on some land when riding. The Abilities never work outside of battles. Synchro no longer changes any wild Pokémon's Nature. That is taking away the variety of getting Pokémon that I often find myself reseting the game to look for a different Pokémon with the Nature I want. It is frustrating when you got a Synchro Ralts with any neutral Nature from the first area. It used to work in the past games since Emerald and even in Generation 8. It is as if SV were made around Legends: Arceus where that action RPG does not have Abilities, and even that was annoying. The character customization seems nice, but the problem is that TPC has a problem with separating the options by sex where the boys have the same hairstyle option as the female's, and can wear lipstick where even if the idea is based on kabuki actors, it is still pointless and weird. The character designs are doll-like like in New Pokémon Snap, and are just kind of creepy when seeing the bumps on the cheeks and depth around the eyes. Pokémon is supposed to be like an anime. It is not like we are expecting Grand Theft Auto graphics or whatever. Cel anime graphics like in the Nexomon and Gal Gun games should have been used to allow potential for much added content, fixed glitches, and smoother gameplay. Nexomon, Gal Gun, and even the Xenoblade games played fine on the Nintendo Switch. People say that the Pokémon games should have went back to being 2D games. You can make video games like an anime, and they will sell if you can get the gameplay, physics, and graphics right. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX looks like the Generation 6 games for the 3DS in HD, and looks great and possibly play great too where even if the graphics are "bad", you do not see pop ins and outs nor get stuck in levels. I feel like I am better off with playing ports of old Pokémon games. Code Mystics and Inti Creates might make Pokémon games better without TPC rushing Game Freak, and be better than ILCA.

I can guess that Guitar Hero games on the PS2 **** because of the removed features, choppy graphics, and long loading times. Don't buy any PS2 ported Guitar Hero game, it's not worth it. Play only the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 games.

This game is even better than any Sonic games that utilize 3D platforming. This game plays exactly like classic 2D Sonic games. The levels are cool, the soundtrack is great, and love the characters. One thing new in this that there are sections where you can literally run upside down. One con I have this is that even when you continue after a game over, you go back to the checkpoint instead of at the start of the level. Overall, this is a great game that goes back when Sonic was based on speed and platforming.

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)2

Even from someone or somebody who hasn't played the game, falling through levels, interrupted controls, self minded cameras, and 20 second load times times 4 to a total of 1 minute and 20 seconds from other people trying to play this mess is just enough for us to decide if we want to play this. This is easily the worst Sonic game. If this was released in 2007, if would've fine. But, no. I guess it's not worth the effort on solving the game's problems. Princess Elise kissing Sonic will make you regret on watching that Disney movie Beauty and the Beast. The music and Silver the Hedgehog are the only best parts in the game. Silver is actually one of my favorite Sonic characters later on. The music is so great that Sega should reuse it for later games, just like they did on Sonic Generations. Sonic '06 went on and became non-canon to the series' continuity, but that's for the best.

Sonic Gems Collection8

This game is worth it to play Sonic CD, Sonic R, and some Tails games. Sonic the Hedgehog CD: One of the best Sonic games. Traveling to the future, present, then the past is a good way to get hundreds of rings for lives. The Special Zones is quite the challenge but not as hard as the ones in Sonic 2. Some bosses have you risk losing rings when attempting to jump into them. Amy is of the characters I like. The cutscenes are, in fact, full motion video. It doesn't use borders like other Sega CD games, cutscenes in Sonic CD in this version is full screen and use hand drawn animation. Sonic R: The steering is just as slippery as in Super Mario Kart. The D-pad works best only in straight courses. But, shoulder buttons are used in the game--that can help make your turning more sharp like in F-Zero. When getting the Chaos Emeralds, you have to come in first place. The analog is the worst thing to use in the game because Up is the accelerate button, you might accidentally tilt up when trying steer. Finding the S icons doesn't require you finish in first place but you have a time limit to finish the race. Playing as Super Sonic in Radiant Emerald is the best part in the game. If you can handle this game tasks and control, you have no trouble at all. Sonic the Fighters: Repetitive as this game gets, as least you get infinite continues, a movelist in the pause screen. Tails Skypatrol: Gamers had trouble trying to play this Japanese exclusive Game Gear game. That's the gamers problem, not the game. I played this game and I made it through with some ease and no problem. These gamers are so afraid of touching walls and ceilings because touching them will cost you a life. Using either the analog or D-pad is up to you. The best way of getting lives is to really start hitting your enemies and even projectiles with your ring. Use that as your advantage throughout the game. Keep hitting your bosses with the ring while your target is far because that'll slow them down while you're flying close to them. Give this game a chance. If you are good at this game, you can probably beat it in less than 20 minutes. It's best to play to this before Tails Adventure to use up your spare time. Sonic Gems is a good investment for worth noting games and some goods. 8/10

Graphics are nice, some songs that you'll probably recognized, and assign musicians in your band. Live Songs appears unknown to fans, but shed some light to you, Lust for Life is recorded at the Feile Festival in 1993, featured in the 1996 UK single, and The Spirit of Radio is an unreleased performance on June 17th, 1980 at the Apollo. This game will not disappoint.

Could be better than the first game. The game is what you expect from other Sonic games from the Genesis. This game introduces Cream the Rabbit, who is one of my favorite Sonic characters. You rescue your friends as Sonic in one of the zones. This game can be hard in 4 directions. It bugs me on how the Special Rings counter doesn't even tell you what S Ring did you get. You'll probably get either the 3rd or 4th ring without even knowing that you missed the others ones. Assume that that there are 4 rings before the checkpoint, check every place find them. But, there is no coming back once you passed the rails, cannons, or large gaps where you'll be able to fly back. Try to remember where you can find those in an Act in each Zone that is easy for you. The Special Zones can put you at risk. make sure you get any ring, streak of rings or the 5 rings, you find to maximize your multiplier to get the Chaos Emeralds. When trying to run from the robot that is close to you, do a jump so you'll bounce ahead off the robot to accelerate. The most annoying part of the game is that when you pause an quit, you are not taken back to the level select, it takes you back to the main menu. You'll lose those extra lives. When trying to find the Special Rings, realizing you missed a few, it'll take about 6 seconds to go through the menu, select your character and get back to the main game. Sonic is the hardest because he doesn't have any flight moves. The bosses are quite the challenge unless have extra lives. Cream is your best character for this. She can throw her Chao, Cheese, into the bosses without getting hurt. This is why Cream is character that you will love as a character and a fighter. You can spend hours trying to find the Special Rings to get the Emeralds, and fighting Eggman. Tails, Knuckles, and Cream is who you can rely on in this game.

This is one of the games you would like no matter what other people say. The levels are nice, it makes you feel like looking at them rather than playing. The music is great too. My problem is that the game should've had more worlds. What I hate the most is that some copy abilities get canceled like the Stone, using it on bosses will revert you. Overall, 8.8-9.

It's a good game for the time. Such a gold rush. Collecting 1 million coins is just insane. New power-ups would've helped but maybe not much. The 3D effects are shallow until you get to the Dry Bowser level. It makes me wish that we're just as rich as Mario and Luigi. I highly recommend getting this game if you haven't played the first one.

Even if it seems cool to drive through many things, but this doesn't even include crash effects. This is, as I should say, a truckload of glitches. You drive though bridges, even from above, hills should've slowed you down, driving in reverse in a speed of 2005 mph is too mind crazing, and no level boundaries. This game is so bad that you can get dumb after playing it for 30 minutes.

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock7
Dec 2, 2013
To be fair, there are some good songs in the game, Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar on Me, Aerosmith's Crying, Edgar Winter Group's Free Ride. Not a Rush fan myself but they shouldn't use more than one song by them. One artist at a time. The next time they make another Guitar Hero, they should put songs that were featured in the Rock Band games like The Clash's Should I Stay or Should I Go, Deep Purple's Highway Star, Primus' Jerry Was a Race Car Driver, Judas Priest's Painkiller an others. At least the game uses downloadable content.

Guitar Hero: Van Halen0

Well that ends my enjoyment for David Roth songs. It's like he doesn't care about his fans think he's better by not singing any Sammy Hagar songs. His way of doing that made Activision only Used 78-84 songs. This is the worst Guitar Hero game yet. So way to go David. If Guitar Hero ever comes back there should be a remake of that game where there songs from the all singers including Sammy Hagar and Gary Cherone. David Roth has no dreams about fans, he'll never be on top of the world, and right now, he is the messed up member of the band if maybe not Eddie Van Halen.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith8
Sep 26, 2013
The game is good. I like Aerosmith, I got to give them credit for the extras in the game compared to GH3. There are new guitars even the returned ones like the Thunderbird, and the Gibson EDS-1275, new finishes especially for the guitars that appeared in GH3 like blue for the Kramer Focus, New Century for the Flying V although it did appear in GH2, white and yellow for the Synapse, transparent blue and amber for the Epiphone Les Paul, characters' styles info. Aerosmith's guitars and basses are cool like the Ampeg Dan Armstrong, Les Paul Glittering Gold, Sadowsky Pink Sparkle, and the Gretsch G6128T Duo Jet Doubleneck. The game is easier than GH3. These are its pros. But there are some cons in this game. It's just that it should've had other songs like I Don't Want to Miss a Thing, Janie's Got a Gun, Amazing, and even Last Child and Same Old Song and Dance. The GH Xbox 360 Dual Pack makes me think the game is worth it.

Slightly better than the PS2 version; better detail although you mostly see white bursts and designs of the guitars and basses still have polygon parts rather than being straight. All or most of the songs covered by WaveGroup are great, Surrender, Carry On, You Really Got Me, Hush, Last Child, Freebird and others. If we don't have the "red ring of death" Xbox 360s, we will enjoy it more.
