I loved The Last of Us. Joel was a heroic and compelling character. The weight of what he had to deal with and how he took on a surrogate child was a great story. I am not enjoying The Last of Us 2 at ALL!. It's slow. The characters are unlikable and the hero is a brutally, murderous, lesbian, psychopath. I don't feel heroic playing as her at ALL! This is a world that would be better off being hit by an Asteroid. Have to give it points for looking great though.

Feminism/ Wokeness is a major blemish on what would otherwise be an excellent game.

I'm one of your long time customers Bethesda and I need to tell you something because you seem to be tone deaf to what is going on. This game is not getting avoided because people "love ****"! It's getting avoided because of it's wokeness. Gamers, most of us being males, are tired of it.

Update: They did finally fix the graphics on XBOX ONE X and the game is now in the state that it should have been at launch. Changing my review from 5 to 10. Incredible game but optimized horribly for the XBOX ONE platform. The game should look much better than this and even the developers have come out and admitted it. I would give this game a 9 or higher if it wasn't for the fact it looks terrible on XBOX ONE for no good reason. The XBOX ONE has already proven it is more than capable of beautiful open world environments so this is completely inexcusable. Even more inexcusable is that they don't plan to fix the graphical problems till next year (early 2017).

Absolutely loving this game. There are bugs, but not on the level the gaming media and hateful gamers would have you believe. All games have some type of bugs and like those other games these bugs will eventually be fixed. However even with them the game is great! As a PC player it is obvious that this game is getting hate because it's an XBOX LIVE exclusive which is a shame.

It's a beautiful game and the designers should be proud. It has good single player game play and addicting multiplayer game play. However the main character, although rendered beautifully and backed up with solid acting is annoying from a narrative perspective. As a man I'm getting tired of the whole "girl power" initiative that has infected media. Can women be strong? Absolutely. But these depictions (despite being set in a Sci-Fi/ Fantasy universe) have reached a point of incredulity to the point of being cringe worthy.

Beautiful, expansive and excellent design and gameplay. Zelda: Breath of the Wild is incredible. All I want to do is play it all day. The Nintendo developers are masters of their craft. Don't listen to the negative reviews. They are just sad PlayStation fanatics as usual.
