I remember playing this 20 years ago and it was better than this version in every aspect except for the graphics are a little sharper now. I can't believe they make enough money to keep this monopoly going. I know tons of people who would love to play a football video game, but this is the only one, and its unplayable and not fun. I guess enough people are addicted to the pay for content gambling model they have going on. Gameplay consists of studying and memorizing which buttons and plays to use to trick the simple computer programs trying to stop you from a TD. If you get a TD, you then get the option to spend fifty dollars on the same player you have, but no he has a better rating, and so on. It really is the worst thing to ever happen to gaming. I miss football games.

Do you want to read a choose your own adventure book? This is the best way to do it. I really like in RPGs like Dragon Age or Fallout or Skyrim when you get to take a break from combat action and contemplate tough choices that affect the world. Torment is JUST THOSE PARTS, and its really well done. If you like those parts too and you enjoy reading, this is a great time so far, I'm taking a long time with it because I'm reading way more than I have to because its a cool story. There can be some fighting if thats the story you want, but its not really the draw, no big explosive cutscenes, but very fun and artistic and deep world to play around in and explore and take a vacation in. Edit: Nevermind, they ran out of money and rushed the ending of the game. Its the beginning of a really cool game though, shame, what a waste

Best four player game ever made I say, better than Smash Bros. They only made one bad sequel. Just remake this same game and make it playable online and lots of people will give you money. I know people who no longer play video games at all who would buy this. Fun for beginners and experts alike, I miss it so much. It not being online is the biggest travesty in gaming history

I actually liked the previous games. A little bit too emo for my tastes but still enjoyable and a really fun concept for exploring the story. In this one, the concept, your power, its not fun at all. And the emo zoomer sensibilities are cranked up to 11. The mystery is not compelling and I could not stand the main character, or any of the characters really. I gave up on it pretty early as it was unbearably sappy and boring. I played the previous titles all the way through and enjoyed, so to get me to quit so early on this installment is quite a feat. One of the worst video game experiences of all time for me, its like being trapped in a floral painted elevator with elevator music on loop until you succumb to death by boredom

Good open world fun adventure. I would like to see a sequel in the same world, They built a cool mythology here. Bigger budget and a little more weight to your choices would help. I feel like only a couple choices at the end REALLY mattered

Its got a fun table atmosphere if you want to practice your poker game. The free play is a little too wild since there are no real stakes. Just sit there and make some easy money when you get good cards finally. Then when you want some real practice try the tournaments. People actually care about winning a little more on those so after the first few loose players go down you can practice some good poker, lots of fun small table tournament practice can be had. Good atmosphere and music and cartoon players, easy to have on the side while you watch something. I think its rigged towards big showdown hands is my main problem with it

I'm old. I believe I have played every version of this game ever made at least a little. How does it keep getting worse yet still sell? I think it peaked in 2003, that was my favorite and most addicted I've been, and the building your own team mode for 2003 was better than this. How is that possible? I miss playing football video games, they made a Blitz game like a decade ago, that was probably the last fun football video game. I tried this out on game pass. Just no fun, too easy to trick the DBs with the same few pass plays, none of it feels fluid or exciting. Just learn the few trick pass plays and use the best team is everybodys online strategy. Building a team is no fun. They need to let other people make football games

So happy it was on gamepass or I might not have tried it. I didnt know these guys also made New Vegas. You can tell when you play it. If you like those types of games you will love this. I feel like I only saw maybe half of what the game has to offer and its still one of the best I've ever played. I played it as a libertarian freedom fighter who resented the tyrannical status quo and violently opposed any big government oppressors. I probably killed a lot of people I could have interacted with. There was an entire town in the beginning that I deemed to be communist so I killed their commie leader after stealing their power for hippie farmers. The whole town just hated me and I was kill on site for the rest of the game, but there was so much else to do I didn't care. Still made plenty of allies and had a funny and fun violent romp to be the freedom champion of future space. I hope the sequel gets more budget and enemy variety, those would be my only suggestions to add to this near perfect game

Its held my attention for 10 years now and I've spent five dollars on it just out of thanks to the makers. I should give them more but this isnt pay to win like many similar free to play games. I mean you can pay but you're goin to spend thousands to get what I have for free. You can't just buy what you want, you have to get lucky. It might take dozens of hours but once you get to top level you can be better equipped than people who have spent thousands, and some have. Love that luck aspect. Oh yeah the game is great, always a fun and different battle every time. Funny and colorful and hardcore and violent at the same time. Only flaw is they never expand it for some reason

I thought of this exact game as a little kid when I had a Nintendo and played Jaws all the time. It was exactly this idea and they stole it from me. They also did it perfectly. I feel robbed. Its like they ripped this game out of my dreams and made it real. Obviously it is perfect, it wasn't even developed, I willed it into reality. Its the perfect shark game where you get to be a shark. Shark Party!

i played this blind on gamepass as I like story games lately. This is a unique and cool concept for the genre, fun cartoony world and interesting characters and decent music. Unfortunately you realize very quickly it was written by somebody suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. It beats you in the brain with it with zero subtlety. To really enjoy this game and the choice aspect you have to view the world through a lens where Trump is a cartoony mustache twirling demonspawn. Every choice in the game boils down to three viewpoints of a basic stereotyped modern American leftist. Option 1: Vote for Hillary because she is not Trump. Option 2: Violently overthrow tyrannical dictator and slaver fascist Trump because he eats babies. Option 3: You are selfish and only care about yourself. Those are your only options as a human in this world and every major choice in the game is one of those three options basically. I kind of did a mix of 2 and 3 and ended up feeling like my choices didn't really matter at all for the finale. None of the themes and simplistic childish political metaphors felt like they were appropriate for this cartoony silly world, and they're definitely outdated if you're playing after 2018 or so. I still finished it because I thought the ending might be better or surprise me but I hated the quick and simple ending and should have expected it. All in all I should have never played it, wasted time. Still, there is a pretty solid game in here, and if you have TDS still you'll probably love it. I liked most of the cartoon characters and atmosphere and music and some of the dialogue. The unique and randomized layout of the game was really great too. I feel like somebody could take the basic framework of this game and make something way better. Either make the story more serious and get intelligent adults to write it, or make it more silly and over the top or just not solely about TDS. There's a way to do this same message and theme with a technique called subtlety that the developers are unfamiliar with

I went into this completely blind on gamepass as I like what some of these open ended story games are doing lately. This one was so innovative and unique and fun I have to give the whole experience a 10 even though it was only about 6 hours of entertainment. I feel like things like this have been tried with live actors before since the VHS days but it never works. This works. The acting is surprisingly decent and the story is fun to uncover as you try to rack your brain for clues to build on clues to find new clues and so on. The picture of what is going on keeps expanding and just when I thought I knew everything I'd deduce a new way to investigate and change the entire investigation. I hope they make a lot more games like this. I felt like a real spy detective
