alternative title. College Football 27': SHUT UP AND GIVE ME MONEY!
It's so depressing the levels of greed destroying gaming.

Easily the 3rd best NFL game of 2005. Well done by EA! Can't wait to see what made up new buzzword they will come up with as a "New Feature" for 2026!

Another wonderful example of how to do an Early Access game correctly. Game evolved with a great communication with the community into a true masterpiece in the factory building genre.

This game is an unapologetic love letter to FromSoft games. Borrowing elements heavily from Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Dark Souls. It mixes them all together expertly in to make a unique game on its own. Excellent graphics and I never once experienced any stuttering or frame drops, which is quite impressive.
Admittedly it took me a while to get into the combat (perhaps as I was bringing my own Soulsborne experience into it), but after a few hours I really got into it and enjoyed it immensely. Played on Gamepass W/ Radeon 6950XT

It's sad that Sony and Naughty Dog would allow a flagship title such as this release in such an unfinished state. Much like WC3 Remastered, what should have been an easy home run, was simply an outsourced cashgrab.

From the studio which promoted sexual assault on their own employees comes a brand new subtraction from a 6 year old game where you get less, but get to pay more!!! So grab your credit card and head to the Cosby suite for this predatory grindfest in the ultimate online cubicle crawl!

Maybe this predatory malware will finally bring some more government regulation in to make this type of scheme illegal. That way there could be some good to come from this.

10/10 Doesn't do this title justice, and I don't mean that out of pure hyperbole. This game sets a new high standard for how to create an open world title. Even if you are not a fan of the souls-like combat, just the act of roaming around the world and discovering things is worth the price of admission.

This is a poor cash grab farmed out to a mobile developer. Add to that, Rockstar removed the superior original versions from the store in an attempt to push people into buying this crap.

First off: I hate that Metacritic counts a 7 as "Mixed". I'd give this a 7/10. The atmosphere, setting, and artwork is very well done, but the combat is a bit clunky. For an indie title I am very impressed, and if you go into this knowing that there wasn't a massive budget behind it you will enjoy your time with it. Don't expect From Soft levels of polish because it isn't here. Also there are some interesting ideas and design decisions that don't really work out too well in practice.

CTRL-C, CTRL-V, That'll be $60 for the base game. Oh hey, review has to be 75 characters long... So now I've officially put in more effort than EA.

A low effort cashgrab. The idea of re-releasing an iconic game after this many years sounded great. Unfortunately the accounting team decided that paying artists and programmers to update it actually takes money, while selling it brings in money. So lets just skip the whole effort part where we actually do work and make it good and just resell it to ****. Brilliant!!!

The zone designs are great. Everything else is a downgrade from previous expansions. Some of the game design decisions are mind boggling.

As a long time fan of the series (Played every one including the original). I fell into the trap of thinking that the complaints weren't justified. Well they are. The game is so close to being a real great title, but has too many gamebreaking flaws. Always on DRM. I feel dirty for paying for this since I have balked at other titles for this very reason. At first I thought the small city sizes was just a style preference, but I then realized it was a cover for the horrible pathfinding, which unfortunatly hinders not just traffic, but power, water, etc. I think this game still has a chance at redemption, but unless they clean this mess up, pass on it and save your money.

Gave it a 4 because it provided a decent amount of playtime for the buck. But I only racked up that playtime due to playing with some friends. Even with that this game doesn't really offer much. Very linear gameplay.
