Eh, I liked it all right, but it kinda didn't know what it wanted to be. Also, Thor's girlfriend died just when she was becoming an interesting character. Why?

My sleep paralysis demons look better than those turtle designs. Michelangelo's face makes me want to set my breakfast free. The script and acting are both cringe, but that's not a problem because the editing makes it easy to not see any of it. The drinking game for this movie is every time Megan Fox's butt is in the camera. The only reason I'm giving this 0 out of 10 is that I can't go any lower.

This is an incredibly good addition to the TMNT franchise. Leonardo has an incredible character development (from a selfish **** to a responsible team leader) and this Raphael is a surprisingly fresh take on the character (who does NOT constantly angst about wanting to be the leader, but instead criticizes Leonardo out of concern and love for his family). Mikey and Donnie get plenty of moments to shine. The fight scenes are extremely well choreographed and grand-scale; the character animation is gorgeous (especially the subtext of facial expressions) and all the little, you-blink-and-miss-it eastereggs give this movie so much heart. The humor can be over the top, but the serious moments never suffer under it. I wish this movie had merchandise for it, (I'd buy it instandly) but the show (sadly) barely even has toys. I really really hope I can get more adventures with and merch of those characters!
