But its solid gameplay foundations, borrowed from its contemporaries, prove that this game can stand on its own. Solid game, exactly as you would expect it to be. Bosses are the highlights of the game, everything inbetween doesn't stick out nearly as much. Game isn't too long, doesn't overstay it's welcome. Animations are great, which was the original marketing point for it.
Music hypes you up in a lot of the boss fights too. Game does have some optimisation issues, which feel very noticable at times.
Some hitboxes and telegraphs could be better. Overall very solid game.
