I'm dropping my review to a zero because of how unplayable this game has become. Career mode makes your punches for now reason. Especially when they clearly hit. My fists sometimes go through the CPU's head. So career mode combined with offline are complete trash, what the hell is there to play in this game?

Pros: -Good graphics -decent offline play -good music Cons: -Everything else For a game that was in development for several years, then early access for almost 2 years, there's no excuse for this lackluster of a release. The issues of online play have plague the early access release since day one. Game breaking bugs, exploited and broken mechanics, no anti-cheat, and much, much more. People spamming the same punch mechanics, either power punches or hooks, and receive no negative effects. People who rely on cheap tactics to win, when defeated, will use the "ALT+F4" command to cancel the match because the devs won't pay for dedicated servers. They're using peer2peer connections. Cheating is still rampant. Whatever "anti-cheat" the devs are using doesn't work. In fact, it's more designed to make sure people aren't using pirated copies of the game rather than using 3rd party mods. Everyone defending this game are taking massive hits of copium. "They're a new developer." "It's still early release.(Even though it was on early access for 2 years)" "At least we have a boxing game. It's been XX amount of years." Honestly, don't buy the game. Wait to see if the devs put work in to fix it or wait for another dev to put out a boxing game.

Why do they make these garbage games? Some idiots somewhere are paying full price for this trash. The only good things in this game is the 3D models and textures. That's it. Save your money and buy it when it's on sale for $2. Did you know that if people stop buying the game, at least at full price, they might try and make the game better? So don't waste $60, $50, or even $10 on this garbage.

The only positives in this game are the soundtracks, the voice over work and the graphics. That's about it. The gameplay and mechanics are terrible. They feel like you're a grade schooler playing real NBA players. If I wanted to feel like a real life basketball player, I would go play basketball in real life. I play these games because of the single player career modes. If that's what interests you, I would highly recommend not playing this game. My stats are damn near maxed out and I still only make 10% of my shots. I built a character designed to make distant shots and that still isn't enough. The MyCareer experience has put me off from playing online or any other mode the "game" has to offer. Also, don't listen to critic reviews. They all sound like they haven't played the game.
