This is just a full on Kaiju movie and i love it. I only gave it a 10 because of one character who i wanted to really get what she deserved but otherwise, this is awesome and i can't wait for the sequel.

Honestly, i didn't enjoy this movie, maybe it's because I'm younger so i don't get the whole nostalgic **** But i do prefer the newer generation Godzilla. I used to be a fan of the old Toho Godzilla franchise of guys in suits but with the new one damn that's way better than this any day.

This movie is not as good as you would want it to be unless you knew the future plans for King of the monsters. How Godzilla is never really shown fully until towards the end of the movie, but the humans did leave something else to be desired.

The way this movie ends sets up a sequel and I'm itching for it but Keanu did say this might be his last one.

This movie is so amazing as it is but i hear rumours about the extended versions with some cut scenes which would have been amazing in the movie. But amazing wish it was 4 hours

Let's be honest here .... when you come to watch this you know what you are getting. A giant mecha movie of humans fighting giant monsters. I don't know what critics who come to this movie expecting a cinematic masterpiece equivalent to the godfather or Endgame in terms of storytelling. Switch off your brain and turn on the drift to simply enjoy this, but i do wish the sequel was better.

I hate that this was made on a cheaper budget than the first movie which was an actual success. This was only made to promote some toys and the cartoon series. Plus having a new director who isn't Guillermo del Toro to man the ship on a story he created is disappointing. I recommend you go and review the actual sequel that Guillermo del Toro actually wrote and had planned to kick start a whole cinematic universe. Which had also plans to link with Godzilla.
