Holy hell this game blew my expectations out of the water. It has more story than the movies and it’s just as rich too! The combat is eh at first but after getting the grav boot upgrade and ice pistols as well as getting used to their perks of your crew makes the combat a blast. Flying around and juking enemies gives me a rush, along with the retro 80s music it makes me feel hyped! 10/10 game of the year

It’s actually an 8.5 out of 10 and the reason why I love it so much is pretty obvious. Great characters, both villains and protagonists (including dani) Awesome weapons and combat. My favorite supremo is the gladiator. (It gives you a huge health boost and makes you swing your machete like a maniac). Speaking of melee, I’m a little disappointed there aren’t any actual melee weapons, however the brutal machete animations make up for it, they’re better than battlefield animations and depend on you surroundings. The pets are cool and armed gameplay variety. Some of the weapons feel unbalanced unlike far cry 5 but they’re all useable still. The game feels a little boring the first 1-2 hours. My last complaint is the visual glitches, the game gets really blurry, hopefully this gets patched. Play this game!

This is an awesome game. Probably still my favorite out of the 4 games. I liked the new characters they added and I still will come back to replay this to this very day. It’s been 10 years and this game still looks great. One issue though is the lighting, if this game had good shadows and lighting I would still love the graphics. Also one complaint would be the bugs. I experienced a glitch several times in my second play through where Shepard would stop Turning and could only move in a straight line. But it could be resolved by being hit by an enemy though. Overall 9/10

Good idea for a game but it got tedious and tiring facing broken dlc characters and getting told to eat **** and die for no reason. The toxic community ruins this game.

Great game. Still has flaws though, I recommend if you’re playing from 2020 minutes onward you should get a mic and learn the raids if you want hundreds of hours of replay ability

The game has become even worse in my opinion. It feels even more like a tedious looter shooter/ sweat game because dlcs and “season passes” are what keeps the game going. Destiny 1 was flawed but destiny 2 is fundamentally a bad game

Just before I get in deep into my review I thought I’d say it’s ridiculous that people got mad about the epic games exclusivity. It has no effect on the price of the game or the quality of it. It doesn’t effect the person buying the game at all either. All pc players have to do is install the epic games launcher, buy it at the same price, and install it. Now getting to the actual game I think it’s a solid 9 out of 10. Had a whole lot of fun with the game. From start to end it never gets boring. And for how short the game is, (you can compete it in one weekend). It manages to fit tons of content in without feeling forceful. I do wish it was a little longer though. The characters are realistic and make the game feel a lot less gloomy and pointless. All though there are parts of the game that make you feel hopeless. Someone keeps you going. Both your character Artyom, and you going. The ending is strong and impactful with some great twists. I like how the game rewards you for being a good person In general. I also love the combat and it feels great both outside and in the Metro. You’ll feel tension fighting both humans and mutants. When running out of ammo you can simply stab your enemy in the **** crafting system is a lot more fun than having the vendors from previous games. Overall I love this game and it still holds up more than a year later. The replay ability is not bad either. You may find your first play through slow and methodical and your second crazy and action pact. Regardless it’s fun either way you play it. In conclusion it’s clearly worthy of being called a metro game. It stays true to its previous titles while having a very different plot. Many improvements and not many new problems
