Animal Crossing: New Horizons8
Dec 31, 2021
As someone who never played any Animal Crossing games, Animal Crossing New Horizons is a very fun and light hearted game. You get to see your island transform into a paradise. I wish you could do more with multiplayer though. The fact that you can only visit someone's island but not their version of Harvey's Island or any other place besides their island is disappointing. I wish I could go to random islands with online friends.

Company of Heroes 29
Dec 31, 2021
Company of Heroes 2 is a great follow-up to the original game, the microtransactions and the factions DLC is off-putting, but where this game shines for me the most is the story. This game shows the true story of how evil the Germans and Soviets were. Finally, a game that also showcases the true sickening horrors and crimes against humanity done by the communists. This game shows that during a war, no side has clean hands, but the Germans and Soviets absolutely had the dirtiest hands in all of human history. This game doesn't pretend the Soviets were a "noble" force of good, it shows that the sick communists were the "better" evil at the time, and to destroy evil sometimes an unholy alliance is needed. Great game, gritty truthful story, online play is a bit meh, Steam workshop is a savior.

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - The Final Season10
Dec 31, 2021
The final game that follows the story of Clementine. My expectations were constantly growing higher and higher each new game they published and for this game my expectations were set so high that I felt it was near unreasonable. But like with the first game, they managed to make a game that was so wonderful that even my high expectations were not set high enough. Knowing this was going to be the final game, there were some reasonable fears I had with this game. What will happen to the main character? By this time, I already knew from experience with the previous games that this game can be extremely harsh with how they handle characters, and my fear wasn't as much of "how" or "when" will something happen or even "if" something would happen, but rather would they respectfully handle any situation with the character. I can say yes, they respectfully ended the game series with a lot of different choices. The main character has been learning things and behaviors from everyone she encountered in the previous games and at moments it shocks you. You'll go: "Oh, yeah I remember teaching her that in Season 2, I wish I did something different" And that's the beauty of this game. You followed a girl from a young age and see her become a woman. A must play masterpiece.

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier8
Dec 31, 2021
While the first two games were top notch masterpieces, this one is a set back for some. While I enjoyed this game very much, the "unavoidable events" that happen here just hurt. You know that no matter what you do, some things will happen, which were fine in the first two games, after a lot of tragedy you'd like to have at least the possibility to "save" some things and people. It is however the harsh reality in the world this game is set in. I still enjoyed this a lot.

The Walking Dead: Season Two - A Telltale Games Series9
Dec 31, 2021
This game is a work of art that starts where the previous one ended. This time with more choices, actual different endings and more important decisions. What this game does best is make you hurt where it counts. Some things are unavoidable and that makes it so tragic. A fantastic game.

The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series9
Dec 31, 2021
This is the game that introduced me to Telltale Games. As a Walking Dead fan, I had high expectations, but this game managed to make my high expectations feel mediocre. The storytelling, the characters, the decisions all felt meaningful and alive. One of the few games that managed to make me think about the choices I made. a MUST PLAY.

Pokemon Sword7
Nov 19, 2020
Pokemon sword is a fully 3d full fledged Pokemon game.
The story isn't the greatest, but compared to the other Pokemon games it's fairly okay.
No voice acting makes many scenes feel empty, and the obvious copy/paste attacks they ripped straight from the 3DS version, makes me wonder why they decided to remove many pokemon that could be found in previous versions. Hackers have been plaguing online, and seemingly no change in sight. The game is fun, it could've been more, perhaps that the dlc makes for an interesting addition.

Splatoon 25
Nov 19, 2020
It's a funny game, but it gets repetitive very fast. Where as most fps/tps games have varying game modes to keep the game fresh, splatoon 2 doesn't. This game is aimed at a very specific audience, which I am seemingly not part of.

Divinity: Original Sin II - Definitive Edition10
Sep 28, 2019
Divinity original sin 2 is by far the best rpg game in a very long time. You die, you die. This game doesn't hold your hand, and the choices you make HAVE consequences. The creators understand what makes an RPG game good, and not only do they nail it, they do it better. Great RPG game for single or up to 3 other players. With a DnD game mode added on there as well, and a powerful game Editor tool, everything is possible.

This War of Mine9
Sep 28, 2019
This war of mine is a great game that tells the story of survivors of a civil war, from a realistic perspective. No high action movie style brainless shooting and killing. You take control over a few civilians in a house and you need to survive. Food, water, defenses, and medicine are the most important things. At night you go out and scavenge. Taking a person's life isn't just a simple click. Your actions have consequences. If your character dies, they're dead forever. Will you sneak and steal from bandits? Are you willing to kill an old woman for a can of tuna, and have your character become depressed or even suicidal? How far would you go to survive? And once the war is over, would you be able to live with yourself?

House Flipper8
May 11, 2019
House flipper is a game where you flip houses. You start of with a little bit of money, and you earn money by doing chores. With the money earned, you can buy houses, which you fix up and decorate, and then sell (or keep as a new office). The game itself is unique, and has a fun gameplay loop. There is not much ****, and the game keeps feeling fresh. For those who are scared of roaches or spiders, do not worry! There is an option in game which allows you to change those pests into pieces of glass. Parents BEWARE. The game contains one house which has jumpscares and is ABSOLUTELY NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN IN ANY WAY! The game does not give you an option to turn it off, nor does it warn you. A lot of the assets this game uses are "free" or bought assets from the unity and the unreal engine stores. This makes it feel a bit cheap. The game overall is a solid 7.5/10. It's a lot of fun and a solid game.

Fallout: New Vegas9
May 11, 2019
Fallout New Vegas was created by Obsidian, many of the people working at Obsidian also worked on Fallout 1 & 2, and it shows. The game is a step forward in the franchise and builds on Fallout 3. Everything Fallout 3 did wrong, New Vegas did right. Every thing Fallout 3 did that was amazing, New Vegas did better. The choices you make matter, they impact you and the world around you. The game is very in-depth, and makes you question yourself a lot. With many different endings, the game is extremely replay able, and is by far, one of the best, if not the best Fallout game in the franchise. This would have gotten a perfect score, but I have to be realistic. The game when it launched was ridden with bugs. With only 1 and a half years of development, there simply wasn't enough time to get rid of the bugs. The graphics for it's time feels very dated and did not improve on Fallout 3. It's an absolutely excellent game, but I can not give it a 10.

Fallout 38
May 11, 2019
Fallout 3, what can I say that hasn't been said a billion times before? Fallout 3 is a good game in the Fallout franchise. It took the RPG elements from Fallout 1 & 2 and combined it with the action of a first person/third person shooter. This is a solid RPG-shooter. It has a pretty in-depth story, and the choices you can make, might haunt you. There will be moments where you regret certain decisions, and it builds character. You will be confronted with your choices, and it does really help you reflect on yourself. The world is vast and semi-open. Even for it's time the graphics are dated, and there are bugs that will make you scream. The DLC's will only expand on the world in a good way. This is Fallout, and it's a damn good game.

RuneScape 37
Nov 16, 2018
Runescape 3 isn't as bad as many people might make it seem, however it's absolutely not a great amazing overhaul. Runescape 3 is indeed an evolution in the game, one that was maybe even needed. It started to change too much, I couldn't even recognize the world anymore. All in all, not bad but not great.

Fallout 47
Nov 16, 2018
Fallout 4 is by no means a terrible or bad game. It's a decent Fallout game. You would expect that Fallout 4 builds on New Vegas and Fallout 3, but they don't. The amazing things like the deep story from NV, the choices, mechanics etc So many things they could have built on, but they decided not to. Fallout 4's story is okay, it's not the worst, it's not the best. The dialogue system is god awful and makes the game feel dumbed down. They got rid of the morality system, which is a very poor choice. This Fallout could have been so much better, but maybe they need to give Obsidian a second chance and learn from them, because if Obsidian can make an amazing game in 2 years time, what has Bethesda been doing?

State of Decay 27
Nov 16, 2018
State of Decay 2, it was one of those games that had high expectations. I remember when I played the first one, I was having so much fun with it. It's the first ever game, where I thought to myself: "You know what this needs? CO-OP!" When they said State of Decay 2 would have Co-op, I was over the moon! However, it does not deliver in the way many and I have hoped. The basis of State of Decay 2 hasn't change much compared to the first one, the new plague zombies are a nice touch, however it would've also been fine without them. This game like the previous one LACKS when it comes to character customization. I was really hoping me and my friends could create our own characters and name them. Heck even being able to name your own community would've been amazing, but no. No character customization, no custom community name, everything is randomly generated. Co-op lacks extremely, and is very buggy. The co-op drop-in and drop-out system in itself is fine, however the tethering system is horrible. Want to go with one friend and check out the North side of the map, whilst your other friends check out the South? Nope. Not possible. We need character customization, We need to be able to name our own community, we need to get of the tethering. All in all, State of Decay 2 builds on the previous game, but unfortunately not enough. It's a good game, but this could've been a GREAT game.

Fallout 762
Nov 14, 2018
As a die-hard Fallout fan, I can only say that this game is horrible. From an fallout perspective, this game is anything but fallout. Lore breaking changes that don't make sense, no dialogue system or quests what so ever (a first in the fallout franchise). Yes, it is a big open world, but it's empty. If you are a true fallout fan, this game Is absolutely not for you. If you are a fan of simple sandbox games, like Rust, Conan exiles, ARK, but you always wanted that with a fallout skin, then this is not a bad game. Not the best, not the worst. See this as a Fallout for kids. A simple fallout game, with low effort, that's not meant for the fans. Fallout new Vegas was made in a shorter time period than 76, and simply is way better. Maybe it's time that Bethesda looks at obsidian for their spin off titles again. Unfortunately Bethesda hasn't listened to the fans since fallout 4, and to think they'll change is just a pipe dream.
