How generous, you spend a huge amount of money to buy a triple-A Product Placement from the famous Hideo Kojima, unless you buy the "Director Cut" version. It's amazing how Kojima can get away with something EA wouldn't even dream of doing it. DO NOT **** BUY IT, IF YOU REALLY WANT TO PLAY IT, GO PIRATE IT.

The true masterpiece, this game symbolizes something good in my childhood, it heals me. I love the character design. I love art design. I love the level design. I love the sound design. It even offers the player2 mode. Even as an adult, I still go back to this game from time to time. I will admit, the graphic is a bit aged, but the vibrant color and beautiful design made up for it. I sincerely wish there will be a remaster or remake in the future.

To be honest, I CAN NOT wholeheartedly recommend this expensive AAA game for a few reasons: 1. Still terrible optimization (7/7/2021): Unstable and low FPS for RTX 2070 & i7-9700k (by the way, the graphic still looks like ). 2. Crappy and clumsy moment (i.g walking speed and picking the thing up) 3. Confusing control. Not just countless complicated control layouts but also ​I am surprised a game can be both over hand-holding and confusing at the same time. 4. Inconsistent control: For instance, pointing a gun at someone's face and talking to them is the same button, especially worse when it repeatedly flicking different actions for the same button within a second. It's an over-hyped game overall, I would suggest you first pirate the game/borrow this game from a friend just to see the gameplay or how it runs on your computer, then buy it at the discount price. I will come back and edit my review if I change my mind.

Red Read Online has all of the worst features of Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA Online, but none of the good features, even much worse than both Like RDR2, it still has the same anti-intuitive keybind and control. Like RDR2, it still uses “realism” as an excuse for terrible game design. For example, constantly cleaning your gun gets boring after a while. Like RDR2, even though the system requirements are very demanding (otherwise, low FPS), the details still look ugly and the same graphic glitch still exists, (for example, pixel hair) Like GTA online, but much worse, hide the new content behind the paywall, but this time, there are two types of game currency. Everything is overpriced, Twice the grind! Even though the RDR Online mission is not as elaborated as GTA Online heist mission, it still does not allow players to solo, which is just the lazy and simple game objectives of “go there, kill them, then come back”. The players number requirement is especially bad for the new player, because no one wants to play it and it takes at least 20-30 matchmaking other players. Easily trigger game-breaking glitch: walking into the stable with your horse, boom, you are stuck there forever unless you alt+f4. Some genius at Rockstar thinks removing the text chart is “realistic”, so you can only use emote (many are not free) and mic to communicate with strangers, and big surprise, no one talks. Unless you specifically look into some other place like discord, the community is as good as dead. There are a lot of griefer who constantly harassing new players, but because of the locked behind level requirement and expensive price, it’s not even a fair fight even if you have the skill. Like GTA Online, hackers are ruining everyone’s experience and Rockstar chooses to do nothing about it. Most importantly, although this is not a free-to-play game, the whole game is built around microtransactions. Unlike RDR2 and GTA online, you can’t rob people/stores/trains because they want you to rely on microtransaction Everything is overpriced and underpay, ridiculously, you will often need grinding for several days to weeks for a simple item, not to mention you will also need to pay for ammo, repair, and “taxes” You know what? **** this game, I am not spending more time on this review. In conclusion, this is clearly not a standalone game, this is just a cash-grab add-on to the story mode whose only purpose is microtransaction. Don’t buy this game, not even during the heavy discount, this is just a broken free-to-play game (and not a good one). PS: RDR Online is dead, the Rockstar completely give up on releasing new content and update. Edit: The more I play, the more I think Rockstar really makes this game as INSUFFERABLE as possible, they deliberately remove everything that makes RDR2 story mode great, which means NO robbing store/train/people (even if the money isn't good anyway, they got to milk every last drop of microtransaction), LESS diverse random encounter, NO point of interest, NO exploration, NO treasure hunt (the filter level-reward doesn't count, just lazy quest of "go there and pick it up" some laughably low money and gold bar), NO wild horse (discourage exploration and push microtransaction), NO secret weapon (again, grind or spend real money), NO eastern egg, in the end, the world feels lifeless, empty, with no souls, just a big coin slot machine whose only purpose is to push players to spend money.

+ Beautiful art style and good view + Interesting map design - Little weapon variety with similar move-set - Unsatisfied ending - Some imbalanced boss fight in the late game where it would require you to use boring cheese tactic to win. -Artsy and boring souls-like storytelling copycat. The story makes no sense, makes me feel like looking at weird modern art at the museum. Edit: Edit: It sounds bizarre, but the more I play Elden Ring, the more I miss this game, in which the developer of Ashen did a few things even better than the Fromsoft; Intuitive control (for keyboard & mouse), good PC optimization, better jump mechanic, lively central hub, convenient quest log, and most importantly no permanent missable (except 1 item in the starting area). Too bad this game doesn't have a proper PvP system, otherwise I would be addicted to this game for at least 300+ hours.

It's a solid game but it has a few serious flaws that stop me from enjoying the game. First of all, I don't think the framerate drop is as bad as others say. My average FPS is 50-60 FPS, sometimes dropping to 30-40 FPS. Although, the FPS hiccup during the boss fight is seriously annoying. However, Elden ring's PC port is honestly terrible, what I can't stand is the user interface, especially as a mouse and keyboard player. For example: 1. Some functions can't rebind, ex: the map can only be opened by pressing G. 2. You can't use the mouse on the map, the mouse is useless (WHY?). 3. Can't change the camera with a mouse when talking, can only use a keyboard. (Weird) 4. The mounted combat, why the **** is the left mouse attacking the right side, and vice visa. Did they even test the game before release? Why I can't rebind the key? Where is the god damn patch? What frustrated me the most is that they improve the user interface on the Dark Souls III and Sekiro PC port, but then go backward to the Dark Souls II. Sadly, just like the Dark souls II PC port and its many issues, it will most likely never get fixed. Sadly, you just need to get used to it. Update: One major issue, please bring back the old Dark Souls covenant system, the world is empty and lifeless without invasion. You can't really be a good guy if there is no bad guy, the Blue Cipher Ring (the new Darkmoon) is broken because no one really bothers to invade anymore. Update 2: + The developer fixes some serious PvP glitches and skip-dialogue glitches in the new patch. Good. +/- Now we have NPC marker, but it's still **** (you have to talk to NPC first, and it disappears after they move). Therefore, most of this game's content is impossible to complete without closely following with the wiki because sometimes NPC would randomly and permanently die for no reason just because you explore other places. -The side quest design is so ****ty that you would wonder if it's bugged because NPC would just randomly disappear and die, and it's worse especially because it's an "open-world" game. - I realize a lot of the content is just copied and pasted, sometimes even thoughtlessly put two random bosses together, resulting in crappy gameplay. -Also, the game is very unbalanced, some gimmick bosses have an unreasonably big hitbox, extremely fast moves, very long combo (literally keep I-frame rolling until run out of stamina), 360 degrees 100% auto-aim. I wonder if the designer really tests plays this game themselves. Did they seriously throw away the Dark Souls online server for this half-baked crap?

Huge disappointment: Expensive for a re-skin of the old games. Full of game-breaking glitches. Lazy design. **** censorship Don't forget the Take-Two bully and threaten these passionate modders with lawsuits for this unplayable trash

As a big fan of absolver, I LOVE this game! +Simple yet beautiful art style. +Good move-set. +challenge gameplay. +Interesting map layout. +Good optimization. +Improve control mechanic from absolver, I no longer need to awkwardly rely on mouse movement to parry - Too short PS: Complaining no multiplayer? No, it has one and it's called "Absolver", go check it out! - Update: take some points off because of the glitch and crash. If you use anything other than default keybinding, you can't use a special attack (focus), a very serious bug. Also, the game sometimes crashed, despite a good framerate.

Overall a solid game, BUT! - Terrible boss design (except very few) where it's just full of annoying add-on gangbang. - Toggle-to-run only, come on! in a souls-like shooter boss fight? It's unacceptable. - Some lazy enemy design, such as a stupid ass triangle shooting fire and calling it a boss fight. - Incomplete ending (unless you brought DLC) - Okay-ish dry storyline. - Lastly, just personal opinion, I don't like its lore because I think it's out of place to mix post-apocalyptic + magic + modern + futuristic all together.

During my 2500+ hours, I can never find a lobby where that has more than 15 people without at least 1 hacker who will try to ruin everyone's experience (god mode, set people on fire, **** people's asses with animation, instant death explosion, kick player, and crush people's PC, etc). It's sad that a bunch of 12 years who download cheat will have more power than the game developer; to those childish cheaters, this game is a literal god-simulator that will ruin others' experience to boost their ego. Now is 2021, in the past 8 years, Rockstar never did a damn thing about it...

Full of texture glitch, random crash, and FPS drops in the snow area. (I use RTX 2070 and i7-9700k, playing at 1440p) While I play many so-called "Souls-like" video games, many try to at least offer something unique to distance themselves from being called unoriginal or uncreative. Unfortunately, not this game and not in a good way, from the weird dialogue, nonsensical lore, slow combat, to literally copying the parry & ripostes mechanic, this game tries so hard to be a dark souls game and it just feels weird. For instance, I can't pause the game to read something, but it literally makes no sense, at least in dark souls, you can't pause the game because co-op (summon) and PvP (invasion and duel) exist and can happen any second. This game just wants to say "Hey, we are challenging, just like Dark souls!" Edit: Alright, I bump up a score a little bit, because the third-person ranged weapon "Ballistazooka" is super fun

At the start of the game when I saw MC's monologue about gay pride and a rainbow gay flag in a college dorm, I can't help but thought to myself "Oh my **** god, is this another millennial-pandering woke propaganda?" Well, surprisingly no, after I sink into the story for a half hour. I start to really love this game. It's a good mixture of bittersweet/wholesome/depress/suicidal/hipster/deep/cute GL love story, with the warm art style and chills lofi music, it's PERFECT! To be honest, I am a cold and bitter person, but this game light up my heart a little bit and gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Most importantly, it's free, so you should totally give it a chance!

Strangely, I haven't played this game in a while, but I think about this game every day. To be honest, this game has the most sophisticated combat system I ever play in any video game, customizing your own fighting style and move sets. (Although hard to control with mouse/keyboard) Also, this has the best fashion in any video game, not just your typical hamlet+top+glove+pant (I am looking at you, dark souls), and the mask feels really fresh, better than me putting countless hours and looking up Youtube videos on character customization. Beautiful art, just searching up gameplay on Youtube and see for yourself. This game has so much potential. Yet, it has some major downside too. The single-player is way too short and the bosses are keeping recycling (3 times each). Multiplayer/Online is great but there are way too few players (less than 100 players). This game is really difficult to play with the mouse and keyboard, especially the parrying system. (I hope they will allow more optimization, and let me switching lock-on target with mouse movement, like dark souls) Final words, please improve better optimization for mouse/keyboard. It's a major turn-off for me, I don't think I will specifically change my playstyle just because I love this one game. And just a lazy tip, you could program some NPC to pretend to be real players (kind of like dark souls 2, with personality and emote) when the player count is too low and matchmaking takes too long.

Oh, +3 rings? How **** creative, they should be included in the based new game++ in the first place. Ironically, it's even much easier to get +3 rings than +2 rings. It's just lazy and greedy to slap them into the DLC that buy separately. You could at least introduce us to some new ring, but nope, you unoriginal bastard. However, one big plus is that playing as a Boss is super fun (for both sides) if you wait long enough to luckily pair with someone that is.

Fun game, but don't play it without a fan-made anti-cheat mod (Go google it). Within the first hour of the game, I got a cheat item forcefully throw into my inventory (Can't remove it) and almost got me banned. I have to delete everything and restart a new game.

A lazy developer's game that wouldn't even work unless you install a fan-made mod.
