Life is Strange

User ScoreFromKanga

Life is strange was a really disappointing game, I did want to love this game and I like dialogue heavy games but only if the characters and story are interesting or coherent but this game is none of those things. The story was a mess, it has one of the worst writing I've seen in a story-rich game, it keeps changing tone and there are so many moments in the game that don't make any sense, also this game has one of the worst endings I've ever seen in a game, it makes all your decisions pointless no matter what you choose and it made feel like the entire game was a waste of time, I didn't felt invested in the story but the ending still managed to annoy me. The characters were poorly written, it probably doesn't help that the dialogue was atrocious, I just don't find Max to be that interesting of a character but at least she wasn't unlikeable like Chloe, I know she went through a lot but the decisions she makes are incredibly stupid and I never sided with her because of it, there were some characters that could have been interesting like David or Warren but their dialogue were terrible and we don't focus a lot on them. To me the worst characters were Victoria, Nathan and the teacher for having the worst lines in the entire game. There isn't a lot to talk about for the gameplay because you can tell that the developers didn't focused to much on it, they just wanted to tell the story, so the gameplay is weak but I kind of already expected that. The graphics are actually quite good for a story-rich game even if most of the character designs were awful, I've had so many glitches while playing that I had to restart the game a lot, the voice acting was bad and I don't like the soundtrack but that's because it's just not my type of music. Even if I was pretty harsh on this game I do believe there were some good things in it, they do TRY to develop the characters and have some emotional moments and the ideas and themes were pretty great but the execution unfortunately was weak for me. I feel like if they took more time fleshing out the story and characters, it could have the potential of being a good game, a great game even, I guess that this just isn't for me.

User ScoreFromKanga

Payday 2 is a really fun game. I really don't know how to review this game, it's glitchy, a bit repetitive and the shooting mechanic is really mediocre but I would be lying if I didn't said that payday 2 was the most fun I had playing with friends. There is no story, however you are asked to do heist missions and they are really fun to do... with friends only, because if you are playing this game alone then there is no point in buying it, this is for friends to meet together and have some fun otherwise this game will get old really fast. The gameplay isn't really good, the shooting mechanic isn't satisfying like a good shooter, every guns feel the same, the customization isn't really good since you have to pay DLC for it, it falls flat and it gets annoying sometimes with the amount of policeman you have to kill... BUT my favorite part of the game are the stealth missions, these missions make this game fun, where you have to communicate with your friends, everyone has an important job to do and when you complete the mission, it is the most rewarding moment for us. I know that this game isn't really great, it has a tones of problems, the rating I give doesn't reflect the actual quality I think this game has, this rating just shows how much fun I had, I never had so much fun on an online game, I guess I can call this game a guilty pleasure.

Furi is one of the most satisfying games of 2016, it's challenging, has a beautiful style and it's just fun to play. The story is actually quite interesting, I never spoil the stories of the games in my reviews (unless it has a big negative in it) so I will not write anything more about the story. What makes the game really enjoyable is the gameplay, the entire game is fighting bosses and luckily these bosses are really fun to fight. They are challenging and they all have different attacks which obliges you to have really quick reflexes and they are really hard to kill. My only con with this game is the walking sections, basically after you beat a boss, you walk for 3 minutes automatically while a character explains to you the story, the world around you and talks about the next boss you will fight. I understand it's their way of telling the story but the game was so creative with its enemies that I wish they would have a more creative way of telling the story. But other than that it's a damn good game, fantastic gamelay and interesting story, this was one unforgettable experience of 2016 and I highly recommend you buying it.

I absolutely love this game, this is probably one of the strongest and most competent indie games I’ve played in a really long time. The story is really simple but effective, a girl wants to escape from a place where monsters eat children and runs away from weird foes, a lot of people say that this game has no story and I disagree, however I do find it to be really simple, the developers did a lot of visual storytelling and I love when games do that, a lot of people also complained that this game left a lot of unanswered questions but I’m fine with that, there is three dlc stories that will come out and they will maybe answer some of the questions. I should mention that this game has some seriously disturbing imagery, there are some grotesque people design, the way they act and the sound they make really made me feel uncomfortable. The gameplay is vastly superior to games like Inside or Limbo, it’s a mix between a 2D and 3D platformer, I really appreciate that this game has a more 3D style of gameplay, it does not make the stealth and escape levels too linear, the environments are at times breathtaking, the sound design is unnerving and the atmosphere is incredible, I got more into this game than in Inside, from a technical perspective, I found this game to be a complete success. My only problem with the game is that it is a bit overpriced, it took me 3-4 hours to finish the main story, but it doesn’t change the fact how much fun I had with this game, it’s a really good 2D-3D platformer game and it’s more effective than a lot of horror games I’ve ever played, if you like these types of games, don’t hesitate to buy it, it’s one of my favorite games of this year and I highly recommend it.

Inside was good but not great, I really liked PLAYDEAD's previous work limbo but unfortunately I found this game dissapointing. The story was fine, I will admit that it's very clever, it does have some interesting themes and meaning and there is a big reveal did shock me... unfortunately the game's reveal came in the last 30 minutes, I know that the game was just a build up for this reveal but I didn't think that it was a great payoff. It did took me by surprise but this final level was boring, annoying and just dragged on and I wanted it to end, so I'm conflicted on the story, it's really smart but just didn't think that the payof was worth it. The gameplay was just like limbo but it has more fluid **** weaker puzzles, I found these puzzles to be boring and repetitive, I found that sad because I loved limbo's puzzles but they were really underwhelming in inside. I heard people say that this game found this game powerful in this story, I don't necessarily agree but I do see where they are coming from, it touches themes of individualism and I can defenitily see why someone would love this game, I just didn't thought that the puzzles and boring environnements made the actual payoff worth it, I guess that this game just isn't for me.

Psychonauts is a very charming game and it still holds up. The story was weird but charming and unique, it has a lot of dark humor and it works really well. The characters were likable, I thought that Raz had a really annoying voice but I do found his character to be enjoyable, the other characters were over the top but really fun and entertaining. The gameplay is fun, it's a platformer with great level design, there is a great sensation of progression when you unlock a new power and a new area, the worlds you travel in are all unique and look different from each other, my only problem is that the camera can get annoying. I didn't know what to expect with this game but I'm so glad I gave it a chance, it's unique, it's funny, it has great gameplay and a great story and I highly recommend it.

Half-Life 2

User ScoreFromKanga
Jul 16, 2017
Half-life 2 is overrated in my opinion but I have to point out that I have no nostalgic feelings towards this game so that's probably why I don't think that this game is as good as everyone says it is and I don't think the game has aged very well. The story was interesting but I never felt invested, Alyx was an interesting character but I wish I saw more of the other characters to make me care about the world around me, the villain was a bore and had a pretty weak motivation and the ending was really anti-climatic (I know I have to play episode 1 and 2). There are some highlights, the more scripted parts where the characters interact with one another was the most interesting part about the game but I wish I got more of that. The gameplay was fun but it did have flaws, the level design was smart and well done and weapons like the gravity gun are fun to **** most of the other weapons are generic and boring making the game sometimes repetitive and the driving sections are atrocious. I'm really conflicted, the game was really innovative for it's time, it has great voice acting (most of the time), the graphics aren't great now but this game came out in 2004 so it's impressive that they still look pretty good and some weapons are great and fun to use. But I played this game in 2017 and now there are just much better games in what hal-life 2 tries to accomplish, I do recommend it but I respect this game more than I like it.

Yooka-Laylee was okay, as a fan of Banjo-Kazooie and Conker's bad fur day, I must say I am dissapointed in this game, it's not as bad as other people said but it's still pretty weak. The story is ridiculous but charming, it feels like the good old days were the stories were simple but funny enough to keep you playing. The game's downfall is the gameplay, the camera is annoying and the controls are very slippery, banjo-kazooie and donkey kong 64 had the same problems, but the levels in yooka-laylee are weaker, it has a great first level but the other levels are forgettable, it's not fun to explore the hidden places like it was in the old games. This game is way too forgiving with the power-ups making the game really easy (exept that final boss), it's never challenging so it takes away all the fun of the other RareWare Games. I do want to point out, the reason why I can forgive the camera and controls on the nintendo 64 games is because the games came out in late 90's-begenning 2000, so it's understandable, but we're in 2017 now and I expect more out of games, I hope playtronic will learn from their mistakes and make a much stronger sequel, because there is still a lot of potential here.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

User ScoreFromKanga
Jul 9, 2017
Amnesia: the dark descent is a good game which surprised me, I've always had a problem with horror games where you just walk around until a jumpscare comes out of nowhere, it's more annoying than scary but thankfully amnesia doesn't really belong in that category for me. The story wasn't as complex and thought provoking as "Soma" and it wasn't as interesting and tragic as "Amnesia: a machine for pigs" but it still manages to keep me entertained until the **** the last quarter of the game dissapointed me, it got a bit too ridiculous and it took me out of the story and the endings were all anti-climatic and dissapointing... but other than that it was intriguing. The gameplay wasn't great but it has more interesting ideas unlike some other games (outlast), you have a lantern but you can't use it all the time because otherwise the torch will ran out, but you can't stay in the dark because it increase your insanity level which will make the screen blurry. BUT other than that, the gameplay wasn't great, the puzzles were annoying at times but it did save it from being just another walking simulator. What made this game made a great horror game was the atmosphere, the audio and the presentation are perfect, it's stressful and I do found this game scary at times. I rarely find a game scary but this game genuinely creeped me out and that really surprised me, they weren't any cheap scripted jumpscares most of the time, the ambiance and the themes of torture really unsettled me, it was a feeling a rarely felt in a game and I appreciate that. So even if I think it's a flawed and at times overrated, amnesia: the dark descent was an effective horror game, I wish the gameplay and the story gave me more of an impact but the atmosphere and the themes behind the story made this game scary and worth it.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

User ScoreFromKanga
Jul 9, 2017
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is a flawed but really fun game. I didn't know if I was going to like this game because it reminded me of a series of games I despise and that is Assassin's creed, the gameplay looked the same to me but Shadow of Mordor is superior to Assassin's creed in almost every way. The story was a bore, that's probably because I'm not a lord of the rings fan, I like these films but not to the point where I wanted to know the lore behind it, the main character was well acted but he was boring as well, he had a very rushed back-story in the first minutes of the game and it is tragic what happened to him but the game fails at making me care about him and his goal. And the other characters were also not interesting, the villains were boring as hell, since this game is a prequel I thought that would give an opportunity to give a motivation to the main villain, that would have made the story so much more interesting but it's just villains who want to take over the world... And this game has one of the worst endings I've seen in a long time, the final boss is a quick time event and the game just abruptly ends...? The game failed at making me care about the story and characters. But the gameplay did redeem the lackluster story, the stealth sections is like assassin's creed and the combat is like the batman arkham games and it's really fun, it never gets repetitive with the power ups and the environnemental attacks and the best element in this game is being able to control the orcs, you can help them become chief and have your own army of orcs. It gives you a reason to play more even when you finished the story. The presentation and sound design are really good, like I already mentioned, the acting is really solid but the graphics and atmosphere are even better, this does feel like you are playing a lord of the rings game. So my real problem with this game is the story, I thought it was terrible but it's one of those games where it's gameplay over story and since the gameplay was a success, I can forgive it. It is a really fun game and I do reccomend it.

Injustice 2 is incredibly fun. I really enjoyed the first injustice, I know it's flawed but I thought it was a really solid fighting game, so I was worried about injustice 2, since I thought it didn't need a sequel, but to my surprise, injustice 2 improves on every aspect from the first one. The story feels shorter than the first one but it's a lot better, the characters develop throughout the story, a lot of the antagonists are really sympathetic and it does explain some of the actions they did in the first game. And with great characters comes a great conflict, especially the last 30 minutes, the only problem I have with the story is that it's barely 5 hours, but other than that it was a blast. The gameplay and graphics both improved from the first game, even if I liked the first injustice, even I can admit that the graphics weren't good at all but in injustice 2, the facial animations feel realistic, the environmental animations are great and the characters design are literally incredible. The gameplay is basically like the first injustice but with little subtle improvements which makes great fun, it's all about the timing of your attacks and the speed of your reflexes, the 28 different characters make the matches feel different and the gear mode can give a different fighting style to your favourite character, there is so much to like here. Buy it now, this game surprised me in so many ways, it might be my favorite fighting game ever, even if it the story is short, there is so much content to this game that it is really worth the asking price, you won't be disappointed.

Hotline Miami is an old-school shooter-beat em up game made by Devolver Digital. This game is weird, it feels a lot like an acid trip but it's also innovative, fun and satisfying. The story is really confusing, it doesn't tell it in a correct order, the characters were uninteresting because you never have the time to know anyone. But one element that surprised me about hotline miami was the philosophy in it, it makes us question violence in video games which is ironic but also clever. The gameplay is fun, bloody and satisfying but can be frustrating because of bad AI, the enemies have really fast reflexes but ignore the bodies on the floor just next to them. You can beat this game doing stealth or just running and shooting, both tactics work and it's really fun, the weapons control very well and the aiming mechanic is effective so even with bad AI, the gameplay was a success. This game really surprised me with the philosophie and the bloody and satisfying gameplay, I really recommend it, it's not perfect and it is pretty short, but I do think it's worth it.

Night in the woods is a 2D story-driven platformer made by Infinite Fall and Finji. I've seen a lot of good reviews for this game which got me interested, so I decided to play it and I loved it. Night in the woods has one of the strongest and most mature stories I've seen in quite a long time, it has a lot of different themes that I can really relate to and it does have a good mystery. The characters are lovable and relatable, the main character is a very flawed person but you do feel sorry for her and you don't want to see her in pain, the other characters are funny, sarcastic and they also have a lot of moments where you do feel for them and near the end I was almost in tears. The gameplay has surprisingly a lot of variety, it's mostly walking around and talk to different people but the game has a lot of mini-games, which makes the game a little more unique. But the gameplay is probably the weakest part of the game, but that's okay because the story did carry the entire experience and it's refreshing sometimes. I do believe it's worth paying 20 bucks to play this game, it took me 8 hours and it does have some replay value so I do recommend it, it's for now my favourite story of 2017.

Soma is a walking simulator horror game made by the creators of amnesia. Soma was a really weird experience to me because like I said, it's a walking simulator and I hate games like that (everyone's gone to rapture and outlast) so when I heard about this game, I wasn't exactly exited to play it... And to my surprise, I freaking loved it, this is officially my favourite story in any video game, it's one of the smartest stories I have ever seen in any kind of media, this is the first game that kept me from sleeping at night, not because of "jumpscares", but because this story made me feel emotions I never felt before. It kept me with a unease feeling for days and I would recommand it just for the story. Now with that said, it's still a walking simulator and I know people hate calling games like that but I'm sorry, other than shooting a robot for 2 seconds and remove plugs, you just walk and run for 10 hours. BUT this is the first time I didn't mind this because it does actually make sense that this is a walking simulator because I really can't imagine having gameplay that would match perfectly with this game ESPECIALLY with this kind of story, so wasn't that big of a problem, it just means that this game doesn't have any replay value. But if you are looking for a story so good that it will give you chills in more than one occasion then I would highly recommend this game, if you can forgive the boring gameplay.

Portal 2 is a puzzle fps game made by valve. Never played the first portal, so I didn't know what to expect and man was it good The story was fascinating, I was kinda confused at first since I didn't know anything about the lore of the first game but once I got into it, it's incredible, it had a twist I really didn't expect at the end of the first half of the game which got me really invested in what was happening. The characters were also fascinating, the two robots GLADOS and Wheatley were funny, had very good dialogue and were entertaining to watch. The gameplay is simple yet complex, it gives you a "portal gun" were you can teleport in different areas in the room you are in, it starts of easy but they give you quite a variety of puzzles making them challenging and fun. I have to point out that portal 2 has one of the strongest endings I've ever seen in a game it's intense, funny and has a great payoff. I absolutely recommend this game, it's not very long but it's worth every penny... Great story, hilarious characters, great voice acting, fantastic soundtrack and one of the best endings I've seen in a video game, this is a game that is destined to be a classic.

Uncharted: the Nathan drake collection is an action game made by naughty dogs. This collection has the first three uncharted games in one neat package, as a fan of action games and story driven games, the uncharted games are some of my favorites, the stories, the combat, the platforming and the characters makes these games some of the best. The stories are quite good, nothing spectacular but serviceable with well-written characters. The first uncharted had the weaker story, it felt the most generic with REALLY boring villains but the main characters were so likable that it kept me playing but the story in this game isn't really good. The second uncharted game had a much better story, it doesn't tell the story in order making it intriguing, the characters were more interesting and this game had a much better villain. And finally, the third uncharted game had a good story but it wasn't better than the second one, the characters didn't really develop and the villains would have been interesting if it wasn't for an antclimatic final boss and conclusion, it was better than the first game but it did left me a bit dissapointed. The three games have the exact same gameplay but it does improve a little bit, the shooting mechanic is incredible in the second and third game (the first one had problems) and the cinematic moments make you feel like you are playing a movie and a very exiting one at that. I really recommend this collection, having three great games in one package is really satisfying and the games thermselfs are entertaining and fun, buy it now. uncharted 1: 6-7/10 uncharted 2: 10/10 uncharted 3: 8/10

Oh this is going to be a really fun review... Five nights at Freddy's is a "survival horror" game made by Scott Cawthon. I was curious what was the game about since it has such a huge fanbase and it has so many theories, it got me intrigued, I'm sorry but I thought that this game was terrible. So the story was actually interesting at first and I was curious to continue, but as the game continued, I discovered that the story was really underdevelloped, it looses its charm really quickly and becomes just really stupid, people say the sequels have a more develloped story but in my opinion they just become more and more stupid, so yeah the story wasn't good in my opinion. And the "**** the gameplay works like this, you check security cameras to make sure that the furies... I mean monsters don't kill you, when they get too close you have to press a button to shut a door which will stop the monster from catching you. You know, I complained about games being walking simulators (outlast, dear Esther ect...) but this is the worst way of doing a game, walking simulators are competent next to this, at least you actually do something. Here the gameplay is just pushing buttons to not die, literally, you don't walk, there's no exploring and it takes away all kind of tension. There is no excuse for this, I can respect it for trying something different but this was a horrible choice for making a game, it's not fun, there is no variety, it's just a bland point n click with no depth. People say it's scary but like I said, there's no tension so when a jumpscare happened, I didn't feel anything or cared at all. A lot of people said this game was good because of the theories, but that only proves to me that people enjoy the theories more than the game itself, which is never a good sign. I really can't recommend this game, it's too linear to have any kind of replay value, it's too boring because the gameplay has nothing interesting and no depth, the story was interesting at first but became a stupid story and made little to no sense. I'm sorry but this game in my eyes is just horrible, you can enjoy this game because everyone is allowed to have a different opinion but I really despised this game and if more horror games try to do the same thing as this game, I want no part in it.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX

User ScoreFromKanga
May 6, 2017
Kingdom Hearts is a RPG made by Square Enix. I like the kingdom hearts series, they are flawed but fun games, it's kind of weird that a 7/10 is an average rating according to metacritic because to me, a 7/10 is a really good score, it just means that the game has its flaws. The story is unnecessarily complicated to be honest, don't get me wrong the concept is fantastic and must be like a dream come true to kids but the actual story of these games is honestly hard to follow. The first game is not too complicated and the themes about friendship are really touching, but the chains of memories is when the story takes a very complicated turn and the little 358/2 days doesn't help me to much... But both games have interesting stories regardless of how complicated they are, they have good characters (especially chain of memories) and they kept me interested. The gameplay of the first kingdom hearts is fun, teaming up with different Disney characters makes this game a blast to play through, you fight with a "keyblade" which is a very powerful weapon, at first I was afraid that the gameplay would become repetitive but you do have variety by using magic. The bosses are so much fun, you basically fight your favorite disney villains and they are quite challenging and they have different ways of attacking which can make them unpredictable. So I really enjoyed the gameplay of the first game, it doesn't have a lot of depth but it's perfectly fine for what it is and it's really fun. The chain of memories game however doesn't have a really good gameplay, from what I heard, it was originally a gameboy game and it really shows because the gameplay is completely different from the first game. basically you attack according to the cards you have, it can get really confusing and honestly, it's slower and just not as fun, it makes the bosses annoying which makes me sad because I really like their personalities and I wanted a good battle against them. It's sad because at first I was surprised and interested at this new style of gameplay but it just didn't do a good job of keeping it fresh... And the third game wasn't a game but a compilation of the cutscenes of the game, which makes me wonder why didn't they make a complete game for 358/2 days? Were they out of time? I don't know so I can only judge it as a story and not a game, and the story was really good, likable characters and an emotional pay off near the end, although I didn't understand the last 5 minutes, like at all, but the story was good, I just wish I could play the game anf not just watch the cutscenes. I have to point out that the soundtracks of these games are superb, they fit well with the combat and cutscenes and they did a really good job at keeping it consistent throughout. If I had to give an individual score to the two games, it would be: Kingdom Hearts : 8/10 Kingdom Hearts chain of memories: 6-7/10 So I recommend this game, it's on next gen consoles now and I think it's worth it.

The most frustrating game I've ever had to review, Star Wars Battlefront is a FPS war game. Now, I'm not a big fan of FPS but I do like Star Wars and the trailers looked pretty good and then I saw the reviews and decided to not buy it, but a member of my family bought this game so I decided to play it... The best word to describe this game is underwhelming. So there is no story, they are little campaign missions but they are like 10 minutes each and they aren't really interesting. So you are left with the gameplay, which was also disappointing... The maps were too big so it's hard to find your friends, the weapons feel the same and when you have a character like Luke or Darth Vader, the gameplay becomes slow and sluggish. And the online is boring too, this fanbase is annoying and since the gameplay ****, the online isn't enjoyable to me.. It's sad that there isn't much to talk about because there isn't a lot to this game, the little amont of content is laughable, the gameplay is like call of duty so if you enjoy call of duty, maybe you will enjoy this. For me, this game looks incredible and sounds just like star wars but the game itself isn't good.

The last guardian is a 3D platformer made by the people behind shadow of the colossus and Ico. I was exited for this game for a really long time so when I finally got it and played, were my expectations **** and no. So the story is incredible, it might be my favorite game story of 2016, it's touching and has a few twist and turns to keep you interested. The visuals and sound are also incredible, it felt like playing an animated film most of the time. The main characters the little boy and Trico are extremely likable and have great chemistry, people complained about Trico not responding to you when you ask him to do something...well that's kind of the point of the game, it starts of with Trico not obeying you but as the game continues, he starts to trust you and listens to you. The puzzles were actually creative, they were well done and fun, and the gameplay was also pretty good, sometimes the little boy was stiff to control but I got quickly used to it so I considered it acceptable... What wasn't acceptable was the freaking camera, that's what stopping this game getting a higher score because this camera was just awful, it kept getting stuck in objects and walls, it just made the entire experience less enjoyable and sometimes painful to play. It's sad that this one little detail made this game less enjoyable to play, I'm sure it will get patched at some point, but for now it really pissed me off, the rest is amazing, it's charming likeable and touching, I would wait a price drop because it's pretty short but if you find this game for like 40 or 30 dollars, definitely pick it up, it is worth it but you should expect that your greatest enemy will be the camera.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

What a great game, I've played all the uncharted games and I really liked all of them but this one just takes everything I love about the first three games to make one of the best action games I've ever played. The story is more mature telling the story of Nathan who is obliged to hunt for a treasure with his (maybe) shady brother. What I like about the story is that it's not a simple good vs evil story, you actually understand why the villains want the treasure and you don't hate them as much as the other villains in the first three games. The gameplay for this game is a great improvement, there is stealth in it, you can slide on slippery platforms and you have the grappling hook, they have added more stuff for you to enjoy this games and it works really well. It's fluid and satisfying just like you want an uncharted game to be. Naughty Dog has done it again and it's a perfect end to a great series.

It's good, like really good... but a bit overrated.. The story and characters are amazing, the graphics are superb, the ending was actually not dissapointing to me, the combat is also great, it's brutal and intense. The main characters are really likeable and the first 15 minutes was some of the best 15 minutes in gaming. BUT, the puzzles are repetitive and dull, the shooting is not really engaging, some walking sections are annoying and people keep saying how original it is but I've seen "children of men" so it wasn't exactly original to me. I'm just nickpicking I know that, but when people keep saying it's the best game of all time, I end up with high expectations that weren't completely met. But still, it's a mature story with great characters, great story and good gameplay, so I'd suggest you buy it.

One of the most atmospheric games ever. Limbo is a 2D platformer and a puzzle game. The story is almost nonexistent, I know there is a lore behind it but there is like a minute worth of a story (at the end). What makes this game so good is the platforming, puzzles and the atmosphere, it's really unique and I highly recommend it. The review is short because I believe it's a game you need to experience to know why it's a really great. Just go buy it, it's barely 10 bucks, you won't regret it.

One of my favourite 3D platformers, I grew up with donkey kong so being able to play a game like this was truly magical. The story is like a normal donkey kong game, the villain is back so you are going to beat bosses until you meet the final boss, it's simple but funny enough. A lot of people said it's a collectathon and it wasn't enjoyable, as someone who likes exploring, I didn't mind, I actually really enjoyed it and I love the variety of characters, you have 5 different characters with great personnalities, that's the game's greatest strenght it's personnality. It's full of comedic moments which makes this game a blast to play throught. I love this game and I highly recommend it

Okay, this is the worst game of 2015 I've played (I don't play a lot of games). So I haven't played a lot of racing games in my life and I never played a need for speed so I didn't know what to expect and wow was it bad. The single player was boring and I really don't get why they are live action, I HATE using the word I'm going to use but this story made me cringe, bad characters, bad acting and TERRIBLE DIALOGUE. The racing wasn't enjoyable because the AI made me want to throw the game away and the level design was terrible and dull. And by the way, why do I need internet connection to play this game, so basically, if my internet goes off, I'm screwed. The two things I like is the customization and the graphics but that's not enough to make this game enjoyable, sorry but I really don't recommend it and I do hope the other need for speed games are better than this.

Batman: Arkham Knight

Batman arkham knight is action beat them up game made by Rocksteady. I really enjoyed the first two batman games (haven't played origins) but I wasn't really exited for this game as soon I saw the batmobile, I thought they were going to focus to much on it and it was going to take a lot of the charm away. And to my surprise...I was totally right, while it wasn't the worst game of 2015, it just didn't met my expectations.... Okay so the story is actually interesting with scarecrow taking over Gotham and a "new" character called the arkham knight wants revenge on batman for something he did to him. Now, this is the most psychological story of Batman out of the two games I've played and I will give it points for that, my problem with this story is that even if the scarecrow story was decent, the arkham knight story was bad, like really bad, I won't spoil it but there is a reason why I said a "new" character, when you know who he is I was really disappointed by saying "really, this again?" and the conclusion with this character was really underwhelming. And it's sad because the scarecrow story was really good with a incredible ending and "final boss", I just wish we had more stuff like this in the game. The melee combat was perfected and the graphics are really good.... HOWEVER there is one big problem with this game, it's the batmobile, well I take it back the driving was actually satisfying, what I don't like it's in combat mode, it's slow, boring and sluggish. Now a lot of people asked for the batmobile, I didn't want the batmobile because I knew I would end up with something like this, it wouldn't bother me if it was optional or at the very least not using it that much... BUT YOU HAVE TO USE THIS STUPID THING FOR 70 PERCENT OF THE GAME !! In the end, it didn't met my expectations, the graphics were fantastic, the melee combat was satisfying, the scarecrow story was interesting and the game does redeem itself a bit at the end of it. But the arkham knight (who is in the title of the game) was bad and the choice of the batmobile being in the majority of the game was a really bad one; If you are the biggest fan of batman, you will enjoy this, but for me, I didn't have fun playing it....

Outlast

Outlast is a survival horror game and it's also a walking simulator. I'm a big fan of horror games so when everybody was saying how much this game was great, I was really interested, so I bought it and... I'm sorry but I really didn't enjoy it, the graphics are amazing and the first 30 minutes were actually scary but the rest of the game was boring, repetitive and I just couldn't enjoy it. Okay so the story, I thought it was a generic mess, and I really tried to get into it, I red every single piece of paper but this story was boring and it relies a lot on the shock value and it really outstays it's welcome. The gameplay is just not interesting, it's so repetitive and bland, I did however liked the idea of the camera, being capable of having night vision was probably the best idea in the entire game. And like I said it's a walking simuaLtor, you just run and walk, I can enjoy walking simulators (soma, the vanishing of Ethan Carter) but I really have to enjoy the story and I didn't, so it was a chore to me. People tell me this game is great because it's "scary" and I will admit, the first 30 minutes were scary but that's because I didn't know what to expect (because I knew nothing about this game), but as the game continued and I knew what it was about, all the fear disappeared. Okay first of all, yes there are jumpscares but at no point I was scared of continuing the game because apart from loud noises, there is nothing scary about this game. And gore is also not scary to me, it's not because there is blood and organs everywhere that I won't be able to sleep at night, it's just a cheap way to shock players and I found that to be lazy. So in the end, this game was really a disappointment, I didn't like the story and the characters, the gameplay was boring and repetitive and I just didn't find it to be scary... But I do respect it for inspiring games like alien isolation and re 7 and I also respect it for trying something different, but when I judge it as a game, it just didn't leave the impact I was hoping for... Sorry, but this game is just not made for me.

One of the tightest, beautiful and most fun platformer I have ever played. Rayman legends is my second favourite platformer, it's does everything perfectly for a 2d platformer. The story is almost nonexistent but it doesn't matter here, this game just tries to be fun and focuses on the gameplay and level design. The gameplay is very simple: you jump and you hit the enemies, but what makes this game so fun is the level design, every single level is a masterpiece, the bosses are awesome also. A great example to show what make these levels so good are the musical levels, in these levels, you can see all the smart enemie placement and platform placement to make a fun rhythm game. Buy it now, you won't be disappointed, it's a great 2D platformer and also a great co op game to play with friends.

This is one of the most brutal games I have ever played, and I freaking adored it. Doom is one of the most satisfying campaigns I have ever experienced, the story is actually good with some comedic moments where there is an interesting lore, but doom doesn't care, he just want to kill demons which makes some funny moments. The gameplay is pure perfection for what it is, the weapons are all usefull, the bosses are some of the best I experienced last year and the executions are bloody perfect. I have only two problems with this game, the multiplayer **** and sometimes the level can feel the same but other than that, this is a must have.

The best 3D platformer ever made, The story is went from simple to comically complicated in the end, this is the funniest game I have ever played, it's self aware and crude. The gameplay is just like banjo kazoi but with some improvements, for one example the swimming is a little annoying but I got used to it and it's far better than banjo's swimming. So with great gameplay, funny story and a likeable protagonist, conker became my favorite platformer and I highly recommand it.

This is the best horror game I have ever played... Now I didn't grew up with resident evil, I've played only resident evil 6 (it **** in my opinion) and resident evil HD remaster, resident evil 7 is very similar to the first game and I don't know why people who consider themselves resident evil fans are hating on this game. To me, RE 7 is just a modern version of the first one and it's an FPS and I loved it. The story was surprisingly really good and has a few twist and turns which makes the game more interesting and the characters (even if the protagonist wasn't great) are really interesting and have distinctive personalities. The gameplay... This is what I call a true survival-horror game, because there are some games where you just walk and run which makes the game uninteresting (outlast), here you actually defend yourself, you create weapons and objects making the game enjoyable and the bosses are perfect. As a person who isn't a fan of the RE franchise, this game blew me away and as someone who has a hard time finding a good horror game, this left me more than satisfied. It's not a PERFECT game (bland protagonist) but with me, **** has so many pros and I'm having a great experience, I can forgive some cons because in the end no game is perfect but I do believe this game deserves a 10/10 and I do hope seeing more games like this.

This might be my favourite game of all time, the graphics, the gameplay, the lore and the setting makes this game one of the greatest.. I'm not a big fan of dark souls, I liked the 3rd one but the other ones don't have the pure magic Bloodborne has, they are a lot of times where the game is unfair and annoying and the gameplay is slow Bloodborne is more aggressive, more fluid and just more satisfying The lore is fascinating and kept me interested The graphics and the setting are pitch perfect, it's one of the best level design I've ever seen in a game The gameplay has a lot of variety and like I said, it's aggressive, bloody, hard and you may be angry at some bosses, but when you defeat him, the feeling is so incredible. Buy it now, I've played this game more than 70 hours and I will keep playing.

I like it a lot, but I do understand why so many people dislike it. Yes the fan base is terrible and again yes it's completely stupid that this game had so little content at release (for 60 bucks). But I'm okay with that, because the game itself is really fun, every match feels different from the other, the fact that you have a lot of different characters to choose from gives a lot of variety. So the gameplay is really good, it's dynamic, fast, fluid and really enjoyable. And this game has a lot of personality, so there is a lot to like. In conclusion, I love this game, I know that the amont of content is poor and some fans are really annoying, but if you can forgive that, then you'll experience one of the best muliplayer games of 2016.

So I'm not a big sonic fan, I enjoyed some of the old games but they are a lot of them that are just awful...This is one of them and it's surely the worst one I played. The story is terrible, it's long and boring and there is a lot of times where it doesn't make any sense. The characters are equally as terrible, I never liked sonic as a character but here he's just so freaking annoying and The other characters are honestly just bland. How is the gameplay? Well it's terrible, everything in this game is a glitchy, broken, nonsensical mess ! Just by playing the first level, you can see that this game is unfinished. This is one of my favourite DS games of all time Great story, it's intriguing and it kept me on edge, it's something you have to experience yourself. The characters is the reason why I love this game so much, each character has a distinctive and likable personality, I ended up caring for them near the end. Really innovative gameplay, since you are a ghost, you have to reach different objects to control them, the concept alone is awesome and the execution is just as incredible. The graphics won't blow you away but for a DS game, it's pretty good. The only problem with the game is that it's not for everyone, if you don't like games with a lot of text then you will hate this game. In conclusion, if you have a DS (or a 3DS) BUY IT NOW!!!

It's a good game where you want to know what is going to happen and the twist is really good. Beyond two souls: 5/10 +Great Graphics, good acting and some of these different endings are sweet -Average characters (exceptJodi), Average story The biggest problem with this game is almost every choice (apart from the endings) is meaningless. And it's just not as engaging as Heavy Rain If you haven't played any of these two games, I do recommend it, it's worth it just for Heavy Rain.
