Bloons TD 68
Jun 29, 2023
Bloons definitely hooks you for the beginning for unlocking everything and the gameplay, while repetitive, was fun and it was cool to learn new strategies while unlocking new monkeys, after a while the glimmer starts to die out and its only good in multiplayer, I don't really like the odysseys and the boss battles needed to much micro managing for my poor brain. also some towers just take forever to get all tier fives, this also includes the knowledge tree which is just begging for microtransactions. other than that I enjoy playing it from time to time.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony - Anniversary Edition9
Jun 26, 2023
I understand the flaws with this game and why its so controversial, but that doesn't stop it being my favourite in the franchise (I think...), all the trials felt fresh and inspired and I loved the location it was set in. All the characters felt like they had a reason to be there and I was constantly on my toes for new twists, people hate the Monokubs but I just thought they were passable. The main character is a unique case as I love their character but they felt more like a stand alone character rather than a player character [which kinda makes sense :)] The ending of this game shook me to my core and I believe the open endedness adds to the factor of blurred lines that V3 explains (eg. lying and finding yourself) It did a good job of sticking in my mind and making me think about it, I get why people werent satisfied but I can look past it. My only real complaint is which the ending where they explain how 'certain events' happened due to two characters relationships... I don't think its true and the ending doesn't reveal it either... overall great game

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition9
Jun 26, 2023
I feel like this game tried to one up the first because it did a very good job at doing so, the new characters are way more varied and their abilities come a lot more into play, while I think this game has highs it also has very low lows... Chapter 3. Other than that I loved the story and the direction they chose to go in, even if the exposition could be boring at times

Minecraft9
May 29, 2023
Minecraft by itself is a good game, it may be simple but it had enough variables to keep me coming back but I believe the multiplayer function is where minecraft shines, most good memories i have of minecraft involve playing with friends and us playing mini games. Creative is definitely my favourite way to play minecraft as its like lego with a fantasy edge and making maps is addicting. My only real issue with this game is that updates while big are sparse while mods enhance what fans really want to see (I understand the bug fixing side of mods but still).

Inscryption9
May 29, 2023
Easily one of my favourite games, the card building sections are addicting with a charming atmosphere, each act of the game was good in its own right however the first half is definitely the best. The secrets involving the cards wasn't deep but it was still engaging to find the truth, also Kaycee's Mod being a free DLC definitely has been where most my playtime has gone, only issue is that the luck can be unfair and the locations can become repetitive.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc - Anniversary Edition9
Apr 20, 2023
I did not expect to like this game as much as I did however I am so glad I played it. The story feels engaging with each obstacle becoming more shocking at each reveal, all characters were entertaining and a blast to interact with. the mysteries of each murder were as fun as they were emotional. While still loving this game I believe its the weakest in the trilogy however it will still hold a special place in my heart

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury8
Apr 20, 2023
3D world was a very fun experience which was fun in co-op to play with mates, while the world themes are basic, each level tries to keep the formula new and fresh which have lead to very memorable ideas. Nothing ground breaking but still enjoyable. Bowsers Fury was not what I was expecting, the fusion between Odyssey and World was entertaining to play, while fighting bowser was fun after a while it became irritating to need to stop what your doing to avoid him.

INSIDE7
Apr 20, 2023
INSIDE is a very symbolic game and I'm sure whatever story there was, was interesting but I just couldn't become invested, each section of the game felt like a hallway with no destination, while being fun to solve puzzles it left a lot to be desired.

There's not much I can really say about this game accept for how well of a job it does making this game a exercising experience, I had fun with what I played of the game and would do it again if I wasn't so lazy.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!9
Apr 20, 2023
This game does a lot right, I love the regular dating sim game play to start off with then it slowly delves into insanity with its characters. All character writing and foreshadowing was done really well and other than the dramatic exaggeration they're all realistic. The writers including the fact that this is a video game and using it to their advantage really enhances the experience into an unforgettable game.

Road 968
Feb 11, 2023
This game instantly hooked me when I first started playing, for starters I just thought It was a game about crossing a boarder, but the story and characters were completely new to me and I was all for it, while the political aspect was good I thought it could've been handled better and no so cutthroat.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Happy Home Paradise8

This game was exactly what I was looking for compared to the base game, the interface is easy to understand and the choices for decorating never felt overbearing so overall I really enjoyed my time.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons7
Feb 11, 2023
After hearing the praises of this game, I caved in and bought it and well I thought it was alright, The art style is clean and the characters are fun but I personally didn't click as well as others but meeting with friends for holiday events was all I could've asked for.

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion7
Feb 11, 2023
The games good, the style and theming are where this game shines, with dark humour and interesting characters. However! The game is overpriced with such a short experience, it's even free on mobile so yeah... I also worry this game will become very dated for all its pop culture references.

WarioWare: Get It Together!7
Feb 11, 2023
This game was fun! It's my first Warioware game and It was addiction to go through the story mode, speaking of which, I felt like it was way too short and I feel like the "all characters gimmick" was at fault for that as they could only design mini games for all movement options, some of the characters in this game are pretty much useless in this game and felt like filler on top of the characters that 'do the same but face a different direction.' Did I enjoy it? yes, was it overpriced? yes and yes.

A Short Hike9
Feb 11, 2023
This game was so refreshing to play, the fact that I could just do whatever whenever was amazing, It really emersed me in the experience, the art style is cute and fits the gameplay very well. Using the wings you collect as a progression device was executed well as the more you got the more options for exploration could be achieved, its too good.

Sonic Colors: Ultimate3
Feb 11, 2023
I wanted to like this game, I really did, the Wii version is why I got into sonic in the first place, but this game was just not for me. In a weird way I think the graphics got worse, the lighting is cranked up to 1000 and the characters appear metallic. The levels are good when 3D but that's rarely the case with most levels being slow platforming sections (That also applies to the original game), the new wisp was also kind of useless and wasn't used very often and don't get me started on the load times, its atrocious how long it takes. And the final nail on the coffin is that the remixed songs sound worse.

Undertale9
Feb 11, 2023
While not being a perfect game Undertale holds a very special space in my heart, it made me appreciate a lot of things in gaming that I took for granted, the soundtrack, character writing, and environmental design to say a few. The RPG elements were handled well and the option of being able to choose genocide or pacifism was amazing along with the pixel art style.

Superliminal8
Feb 11, 2023
I really interesting game, going in I only expected the mind-bending puzzles however the mini story explaining everything was a nice addition, at some points the game leaned into aimless territory especially in the ending then again that was the shortest part of the game so I guess I can excuse it.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero - Ultimate Edition7

The colourful and vibrant characters/levels were very cool to experience, I found the gameplay lacking however with weird controls and at points annoying level designs. other than that I had fun with it.

Pokemon Shield7
Feb 10, 2023
I know, Its a travesty that I enjoy this game but Its true, I thought the new designs were kind of meh but the best designs are some of my favourites, the trainer designs were very unique and the gym battles were a good combination of Sun and Moon trials and the original battles. I didn't really care that they didn't have all the Pokémon and the story wasn't good, but I've got a lot of good memories playing this game, especially doing a nuzlocke.

Luigi's Mansion 38
Feb 10, 2023
This games charm shines through the level design and characters, I found catching ghosts to be while repetitive, enjoyable. My issues with this game are that the middle section drags on for way to long, the water level is one of the most unenjoyable parts of any game I've played, and that once you complete the game you cant go back into any of the levels.

Baba Is You7
Feb 10, 2023
I love the presentation of this game, the visuals and the way you solve puzzles, the only issue I have is either this game gets difficult very quickly or I'm just a dumbass... I think it's a bit of both.

Super Mario Odyssey9
Feb 10, 2023
This game is amazing. Every location feels fresh and exciting to explore, The story while not being Shakespeare doesn't push it's boundaries and is just what's needed to advance the story. This is the only game I've ever wanted to 100% just because the mechanics of Cappy and the movement controls were so fluid. The only downside to this game is that there's no DLC or good multiplayer.

Feb 10, 2023
It feels like this game is before our time, the levels while being pretty average has little to no innovation in original concepts. I thought the baby Yoshi's were kind of useless, I did find the addition of Toadette and Nabbit was cool though.
