An unbelievable and unrivaled achievement in animation history that was only made possible thanks to the genius of Walt Disney himself, it's the 'the Wizard of Oz' of animation.

The Tale of The Princess Kaguya10

This film left me speechless. The sheer beauty of unique hand done animation is something so eye catching and the phenomenal color palette which is one of the if not the greatest one I've seen in a film. I'm so happy that Takahata put so much time into this film which was absolutely worth it as this is an easy pick for one of the most beautifully animated films of all time.

Most underrated and insanely nostalgic Ghibli masterpiece, it was a real beauty watching all the memories of past perfectly conected with beautiful plot. Isao Takahata truly is master of realism and that what makes his films feel so unique despite them being animated.

This film might be very beautiful but it also is very emotionaly haunting. Steven Spielberg definitely took his directing to the next level in this film.I think it is a very easy choice for best film of the 90s not because of its acting, music, cinematography or directing, but for managing to hit many people in the feels for all the right reasons.

Spirited Away10

This film is quite simply a masterpiece, I don't remember last time I saw something so phenomenal and creative besides other Studio Ghibli films of course. The amount of creativity and uniqueness put in Spirited Away hasn't been seen before and I probably could name only few animated films that come close. It simply had everything : from quirky and lovable creatures to beautifully crafted emotional scenes Artstyle just blew my mind and the attention to detail was outstanding as always, there are so many things to look at while watching. Same thing can be said about music in this film as Joe Hisaishi took it to the next level that we don't often see in animation.
