This film failed to capture the charm and humor of the original show. Herman is now a modernized comedian, who seems to philander about town by using his newfound fame. This is supposed to be the story of how they got together, yet I don't believe it. Lily acts like a dimwitted floozy, not the smart and charismatic woman I had come to know. This may be titled "The Munsters", but it most certainly is not. Spend your evening watching the original show in black and white. I guarantee you will have a nice laugh.
