Ported over from the PC, Half-Life on PS2 did not run as smooth and it took some getting used to not having a mouse and keyboard at the time, but everything else was still there and it is still a great game.
Half-Life is simply historic and legendary in every way possible. Never judge a book by it's cover is fitting here as Dr. Gordon Freeman does not look the part of the hero but it was great playing as him.
I was surprised at how much I liked Contrast. Loved the atmosphere. A puzzle/platform game with a very unique twist in the sense of using shadows A-la Peter Pan.
Dishonored was a very well done game with an intriguing story. It's the type of game you can go in guns blazing and use all your abilities as you level up, or you can just be sneaky in the shadows and attack from above.
Overall, i enjoyed FFXV. I like how the monsters levels were different at night than during the day. It also helps to watch the movie that came out which is a prequel to the game. The soundtrack is also great.
FFXII went a different route in 2 main areas. The battle system, which for the first time you could control the character at all times. and the fact that the story centered around a "side" character in Ashe. You control Vaan who is by far, in my opinion, the worst of the "Leads" in the FF games. He fell flat and was just very vanilla. Had we been able to control Balthier, or even Basch, it would have been much better. Overall though, it was a good FF in my opinion.
FFX introduced voice acting for the first time in the series and it was great, yes, including that cheesy laugh by Tidus and Yuna, which btw, if you notice it was done on purpose due to the convo they were having. Anyway, FFX is amazing with all the characters being awesome. The leveling up system is still one of the best in the series and being able to switch characters on the fly for the first time will forever be epic.
Although Zidane is not my fav. protagonist, (he is still better than Vaan), this is a great game brought back in amazing HD with a good story that saw the series return to it's original roots.
Based on original 1997 release, this game was a head of it's time and helped Playstation 1 sales in the process. It may not be the best in the series but to me it is one of my fav. games ever and now you can play it on Xbox One GamePass in glorious HD.
Well done game that was brought back to the Final Fantasy roots of it all. For me personally, Zidane is not one of my fav. protagonist but the rest of the game was great. Besides, he is better that Vaan lol.
I love Batman, I love side scrollers. I did not compare this at all to the Arkham main line games but for some reason, this just did not work for me as much as I wanted to. I could not finish it but it still has nice graphics and easy controllers to handle.
I know I beat the game but remember very little about it which is never good. I remember the first level but thats about it because it's a straight beat em up game. I love beat em up games but this one did not stand out to me apparently.
If you are looking for a super hard game then welcome to Bloodrayne: Betrayel. I side-scroller that seems normal but it is not. If you are looking for easy achievements then stay away from this game. By far, Mission Level 18 can kiss my @$$ for ever. 13 **** also lol.
I truly enjoyed Metro Last Light as much as Metro 2033. The gameplay, story and environment and atmosphere are all great. I did not play online so I don't even remember if there is multiplayer or not but I am not an online gamer so this rating is based solely on the single player campaign.

I truly enjoyed SO: TTEOT. A JRPG that surprised on how good it was. It was the first Star Ocean I have ever played back when it was released on the PS2.
MGSV: Ground Zeroes is a quick fun demo-like game. If you know that going into it you may like it. Those who paid full price at released, well, LOL... this is why you wait until the price drops.
Life changing experience. When you did not know wtf was going on against Psycho Mantis and then found out to change the memory card to slot 2? MAN! funny, clever and great.
I tried and just could not finish it. Leveling system takes some getting used to. I would still recommend it because you may be better at it but once I leveled up enough and was towards the end I got beat so bad that I would have to grind more and it just was not work it for me.
If you are a fan of JRPG's in general like I am then you will love this game to. Good story, great mechanics, exploration is good also. Very under the radar. Since Microsoft owns the rights they need to at least bring it to GamePass but having it enhanced would be even better.
I love how people try to compare this game to the technology and knowledge law enforcement has today. Morons. Anyways, this game is great. I love how you have to figure out if the suspect you are investigating is telling the truth or not. If you piss him/her off then they wont say **** Graphically amazing, simple controls. How cops had to be back in the 1950's.
A bunch of babies compare it so much to AC and Arkham and it's sad. Yes there are similarities but no it is not either of those games. Someone please pass these fools some Pepper for being Salty af, pass them some cheese and crackers for the Whine they are having, call them a Whambulance. Bunch of jabronis.
At the time, if you were looking to play something close to the original God Of War series then this tried. It was nowhere near GoW but it still was a good game.
Playing GTA5 is like playing 3 different games in one. I liked each of the 3 main protagonist as they were all different in their own way. Adding the first person view was a good small addition.
I was fine with this game. A shooter that is good to play when done playing a long, draining JRPG/RPG. No idea of the online issues at the time since I do not play multiplayer.
