A decent effort though misses the point in a few areas. They touted 25000 lines of radio they had access to but the ones they have are repetitive, some times not right for the scenario and at other times dont play. Great idea to include them but they need to fix this. Fix and also add some more variety to them. There's also too much copy responses from the driver, doesnt really happen in real life and seems to be added for the sake of it. Graphics and presentation are top notch, proper camera angles around the track that give a TV style broadcast feel. Good choice of onboard and trackside cameras too. However, commentary is also a let down. Very robotic and wrong. Someone locks up and the commentator goes mad and the team are showing as going crazy, not realistic! For me what the real let down is the strategy in the game. Seems that undercut/overcut as well as different compounds dont have any simulation. I am not one of these sad people who give such low reviews to the game because they decided to dig into the game files and read stuff of reddit. My review is purely as an F1 fan and someone who wants a fun game. The other disappointment is doing things to manage the ERS, this should be managed by the driver as team boss its not really something I expected to see as a gameplay feature. I dont think I will be buying this next year unless they sort out these things because then you go down the route of buying an unfinished game each year hoping they fix it. That being said its better than that rubbish from Codemasters and if you had to spend your money on a game I would spent it on this rather that poor excuse that is F1 22.

True to the anime the game offers some great visuals and story mode. The story mode and graphic style is faithful to the show as is the soundtrack! What is really surprising (in a good way) is the inclusion of official soundtrack from the anime and the Mugen Train movie. An inspired decision for sure though I wish you could select tracks for use in the Vs mode. Where this game perhaps lets people down is...lack of content. Post completion of story mode there isnt really much to do and the Vs mode is only fun for so long. There was an opportunity for a survival mode or something where you could either battle all the demons or be a demon and battle all the slayers but they didnt add this for whatever reason. This game is heavily based on the ninja storm series but has cut out some of the customization. Whether its being able to change cut-in finishes or remove them completely or being able to swap out your special techniques they just didnt bother to add this to the game. I have no interest in online so have nothing to comment on that. There is DLC on the way from the Entertainment District Arc including Tenzen and the demons. What isn't clear is if they will add additional story mode content. Longer term there isnt a really clear roadmap for the game. If you like Kimetsu no Yaiba then I would say this is a solid buy.

Do Not Buy! This is another copy and paste of the game they have been releasing for the last 3-5 years. They spend a lot of effort giving the game to youtubers to drum up hype and get kids to buy it. Do not let your children play or purchase this. It's filled with microtransactions for cosmetic items with the aim to get them to spend. The real kicker is the audacity of the creative director moaning last year on twitter that the 2021 game didn't win an award at a gameshow. That entitled mentality for expecting praise after pumping out the same old rubbish sums up this release from EA/Codemasters well. The audio team cry about wanting only "constructive criticism" AKA nothing negative to be said on the official forums when challenged on why the game sounds like it was made by a deaf man. Year after year they're told what people want and fail to deliver authentic or real sounds that amateur people can do a better job of in the likes of Assetto Corsa. Getting straight to the point… - Audio is wrong. Over 10 years of making the game and they do not get the onboard engine sounds to match the tv broadcast audio. (all sorts of made up excuses for this) - Incorrect tracks. They fixed a few and used it as a selling feature but it is the bare minimum to have tracks that are reflective of real life. (Spa still 10 years old) - Over saturated cartoony graphics. Looks like its made for previous gen and not current or "next gen". - Same rubbish "engineer" lines. They changed the voiceover but got it to repeat the same lines. - No official HUD from TV in an official game is laughable. - Timing system broken (ever since F1 2010). F1 games from other developers from 16 years ago allowed you to compare lap times to fastest in session or pole yet in this game you can only ever see your sector times against your own lap time. This really is **** the barrel. Zero passion for the developer and that was before EA got involved. This year they decided to add "Super cars" and buying clothes and furniture also known as "F1 Life" to the game which is crazy considering all of the above that isnt fixed. They also specifically designed the game to exploit children and those who are mentally vulnerable by selling cosmetic items like clothes, hats, glasses and couches (you read that right, home furniture in an F1 game). I can only hope F1 and FOM see this for what it is and get rid of this rubbish developer and team. Mather/Jeal and all the others should be confined to the scrap heap of history as failures. Pathetic game and a well deserved: 0/10
