Dragon Age: The Veilguard9
Aug 30, 2025
I started disliking it and ended loving it.I've been a fan of Dragon Age series since the first got released. Played DA Origins multiple times, DA Awakening, DA 2, and DA Inquisition. I loved all but by the time I was playing Inquisition the whole battle system felt dated. With Veilguard that was the best thing.I was initially shocked by having a 3 characters party instead of 4 and not being able to switch also bothered me. But the more I continued playing the more I enjoyed the story, the new gameplay system and most of the characters backstories. The only reason it wasn't a 10 is because I feel it lacked meaningful choices throughout the story like the previous games did and not importing our previous choices from Dragon Keep.

Final Fantasy XVI9

Absolutely fantastic! A mix of Final Fantasy with Game of Thrones. This one probably had one of the best stories in the series. This game has it all: memorable characters, amazing villains, and probably one of the best protagonist. Not to mention the best Cid ever. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because of the whole change of color palette after the event with the sun, which made that beautiful world look not as beautiful. We've seen similar things in FF6 and FF15, but this time it didn't work well. Another thing that wasn't good were the items: just 2 piece of equipment and 3 accessories. I barely used any of them and the crafting items were almost all useless. Felt like an unfinished game in that part.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales9

After loving the Spider-Man game on PS4, I came to play this game with very high expectations and it delivered. This game is almost as good as the first one, but feels much shorter. In a way it felt more like an expansion to the first game rather than a full entry. Other than this no real complaints. Totally worth playing.

Marvel's Spider-Man10

I didn't know I loved Spider-man until I played this game. This is the best super hero video game I ever played, even better than Batman Arkham games. I enjoyed every minute I played until getting platinum + DLC trophies.

I just finished this game and had mixed feelings.
Pros: 1. The parkour system is unique and makes exploring a huge empty world more interesting.
2. The combat system is fun, with a wide variety of magic to try different combat styles. It feels under used after you get fire spells.
3. Story feels like a mix of Wizard of Oz with Alice in the Wonderland, which starts boring as heck, but the ending "twist" feels enjoyable. The cons:
1. The protagonist is stereotyped and is completely unlikeable until almost the last chapter.
2. Side quests (detours) are repetitive, boring and give no sense of reward. You do much of things that don't feel like you are helping anything get better.
3. The world is huge, beautiful, but boring as heck. It felt like a bad copy of Horizon Zero Dawn, where instead of wanting to explore every corner before facing the final boss, I actually wanted to rush finish the game before I lost interest and felt like I wasted my money. I'm now in the post-end game hating even more the challenges required to get Platinum trophy. It feels so pointless that I might just give up and move on to a better game instead. Edit: I eventually came back months later to get Platinum trophy, which I did. It made me remember why I disliked this game more and drop my score from 5 to 4.

A timeless masterpiece, can't describe the feeling it gave when playing it back in 1998.
