Albeit DMC4 being an unfinished game, I will always like it the most. I played it a lot back on PS3. In fact, this is the DMC game I've played the most in the series. After so many years of the playing the series and coming back to DMC4, it's still the fun and great game I remembered. Of course I can see the flaws in the unfinished portions of it, especially with Dante's missions going through Nero's levels backwards. However, the charm of the characters, the world and the many new elements introduced in this title (devil bringer, sword revving, on the fly weapon swapping, etc), really made me fall in love with this game back in the day. Now I will be honest too, there are definitely annoying moments/ fights in this game like the dice game (which is easily done if you know how it works), or even the first fight against Agnus. But looking past the flaws of the game and seeing how much potential this game had and the many great enemies/ bosses (like Berial, Credo), this game could've easily been the best DMC game if it were properly developed and finished. The special edition modes are interesting, especially Dark Knight Mode. While some of the sections had annoying enemies, seeing 60 enemies at once on the screen was a blast to go through. It was also fun trying all the characters in this edition, especially Vergil! An amazing entry for the series, I'm glad they kept Nero around for DMC5. Next up DMC5, I am sure I am going to enjoy it again ^_^.

9.8 / 10 Game is phenomenal. A game every gamer must experience. It brings good elements from different video games into one. And most importantly it's a fresh breath of air to see Turn Based RPG in modern times. This game not only has fun and engaging combat, the story, the world, the characters all are crafted and done so well. They really put their heart and passion into making this game. I love it, and will always remember it. It deserves game of the year. Others should see the beauty of turn based (as it was before) and bring it back in AAA games (I'm looking at you SE). But yeah, a few things I wish they had to improve the experience such as Picto Loadouts, better completion navigation (for checking things completed, and stuff on the map), retry battle option instead of loading last save and walking back to the fight. Just minor things but this game definitely deserves a 10/10.

Played this on the PS3 when it came out. I remember enjoying the game a lot and platinuming it. I came back to it recently after a long time but this time the DE version. The combat and environments are well done. I absolutely enjoyed playing this again in 60 fps. I've played all of the DMC games. While they did deviate from the other games in terms of characters, story and ideas, it was a welcome approach for a REBOOT. The reason I gave this a 9 is the bad writing in the story and the dialogues. Some of it is so cheesy and bad. And also taking away Vergil's fedora (will never be forgotten). Another thing to note is the soundtrack on this game is so damn SSSensational! Love it. But yeah, overall amazing game.

The combat in this game is very satisfying and fun. It reminds me a lot of Nioh's gameplay but different at the same time. The story I wasn't really interested in it, but it does have an interesting world and characters. My rating for this game is mostly if not purely on the combat enjoyment I had. It felt very satisfying pulling off parries and utilizing the various abilities each weapon has (I used Dual Blades). Overall a really good action RPG.

A good star wars game. Definitely has it's problems. Needed a little more testing, especially some of the weird animation (T-poses, jittering). Combat and story got much better after halfway through the game. Those 2 stances you get later are so much more fun to use than the beginning ones. I didn't mind the open world on this game. I think they could do a good job on the 3rd game if they balance it out. Overall good and enjoyable game. May the force be with you!

This is how you do a remake! This is one the best JRPGs I've ever played. After playing First Departure, I appreciate the smooth transition to this game. Not only the mechanics but the character connection to the first game (even though it's minimal). This game is gorgeous. I really like the unique art style of this game. Mixing 2D character sprites with 3D environments looks beautiful. The characters, the world, the story, the adventure and the bonds you make during this fantastic journey is worth experiencing. The game gives you lots of way to play and progress. Also worth noting how well they modernized this game with fast travel, quick menu buttons, battle retry (optional, instead of always having to load previous save file), easy to understand UI and upgrade system. Everything is explained well and very user friendly. A gem that should not be missed. I hope they remake the third game.

First time playing the series. Lots of mechanics I didn't understand at first, especially with the minimum amount of tutorials given to you. It definitely is a good JRPG, but I wish it was a little more modernized like how they did Second Story. The story was interesting, the characters were likeable too. The specialties and combat were pretty unique, took a bit to get used to but became more fun once I got the hang of it. Overall great JRPG I'm glad I played and one every JRPG fan should play! Looking forward to going through Second Story too!

Very fun and unique hack & slash with a mix of Tony Hawk. Loved the chaos in this game and the characters. The game definitely felt easier than most hack & slash I've played but nonetheless it was a fun experience. Controls were intuitive and great too! Definitely worth a try if you love those two genres. Meow

7.5 Both games were fun.i love old platformers like this. They're special to that era of ps1/ps2 games. I never played the original. The remaster is done well and the graphics overall are colorful and nice. The game isn't really difficult but some parts can be. I liked the story on the first one more but the second one added more gameplay and features. I also liked the variety of mission types such as the surfing/ escaping sequences. Overall a fun classic worth trying out if you are into old School platformers. I'm glad I got it.

Fun game I came across on the store during a sale. I didn't know anything about this game. The combat and world are very unique. At first I wasn't sure about the card system in the game but it grew on me and was pretty fun. The setting and design is well done too. Reminds me a lot of Burton's stuff. The characters were likeable for me. Didn't see any problems in the game but definitely some controls could be smoother and better. Overall a great game. Definitely worth grabbing and playing. Another hidden gem I'm happy to have come across.
