Hot on the heels of the British and Australian governments implementing strict new rules regarding social media for children, I wanted to share why I think Toy Story 5 might be the most important movie you can take your young children to right **** film tackles the toxic nature of social media head-on by showing its impact on the main character, Bonnie. It raises a profound question for all of us: what are we truly losing when we replace imaginative play with hyper-connectivity? Rather than just being critical, it thoughtfully explores the difficult challenge of balancing childhood and tech.I realized just how incredibly important this film was when, completely unprompted, my 9-year-old began asking these exact same questions on the ride home from the **** Story 5 is so much more than a fun family movie. It acts as a brilliant device to open up necessary conversations about the role of devices in childhood development. I highly recommend making time to see it with your kids.

White Noise. Overly intellectualized postmodern romp in middle America. Cheadle and Driver are absolutely outstanding. But the postmodern classic book simply doesn’t translate to the screen. I feel bad for Driver, he probably should have gotten a best actor nom, but you can’t see past the movie itself.Rampant consumerism, media saturation, novelty academic intellectualism, underground conspiracies, the disintegration and reintegration of the family, human-made disasters, and the potentially regenerative nature of violence is just too much for 2 hours and 16 minutes.
