Played this throughout early access on Steam, and it's been a pleasure to see this game progress. Often described as 'the dark souls of racers' due to its intense difficulty, Grip is a modern re-telling of the Rollcage series. It's fast, relentlessly difficult, and a refreshing return to the arcade future racers of old. It's difficulty will make it a difficult sell for the casual crowd, but if you enjoy arcade racing, it's well worth checking out. It's also important to mention that this is a game in 2018 with a predominantly Drum & Bass soundtrack, and that's huge!

An interesting fighting game with a unique take on finishing matches. Is that enough to make it compelling? Not particularly. Do the ladies make up for it? I'm going to say yes. Story mode is fun, online works OK as far as I can tell, but so far it's the survival mode which has kept pulling me back in. If you're a **** for gorgeous anime ladies, or an avid fighting game fan, it's worth a look. If those things aren't your cup of tea, this isn't going to do anything to change that.

Feels fantastic on the Switch. Playing multiplayer out and about when tethered to a 4G phone is a pretty gnarly experience. If you're already an experienced Rocket Leaguer it's a no-brainer. Fantastic version of an already incredible game.

Simply astounding. Every aspect of the game feels mature, well-tuned and fun. This is peak-Nintendo and every gamer everywhere owes it to themselves to play this game. A true classic for the modern age.

A majorly under-appreciated title on PC, and possibly the finest triple-A PC game ever to come out of Japan. It is without doubt the best version of this game in terms of its visual fidelity, and the option to play with a mouse and keyboard adds an insane amount of precision to how you control the game. Perhaps a little grindy in places, but the overall central loop of infiltration, in the all new open world setting, is more refined and enjoyable here than it's ever been before. If you've ever prefered the gameplay in a metal gear game over the endless storytelling, then you'll find a lot to enjoy in The Phantom Pain.

Simply one of the greatest multiplayer games of our time. It sits comfortably with the likes of Counter-Strike, Quake and WoW in terms of milestones in multiplayer gaming. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll have off days and you'll have spectacular nights. If you haven't already, for god's sake start playing Rocket League.

A big letdown. The promise of a burnout crash / indoor golf hybrid was too good to ignore, yet the final product felt like it had been let out way too early. The mechanics are iffy at best, with graphical bugs galore. I could look past the initial lack of keyboard support as I don't mind playing with a pad, but everything was so poor otherwise that seemed the least of the game's problems. Overall you just don't feel in control of what you're trying to achieve in Dangerous Golf and therefore the novelty wears thin very quickly.
