The only Persona game where you play as adults, and the story is more mature to match, though the crazy **** from Innocent Sin definitely remains. Some of the best characters in persona(Baofu my boyyyy) And a much improved battle system from IS. Probably would rate a point or two lower if I was not playing with on an emulator with save states and speedup and with a guide.

Surprisingly enjoyable for its age! the whole groundwork for the series is here, talking to people at school, then rpg battles after. grid based positioning is a fun little addition that seems to have been shed in the transition to 3d. Though admittedly the random encounter rate is a little high and I probably would have rated this game a point or two lower if i didnt play with a walkthrough

Incredible expansion on the first game in every single way. A massive open world with actually fun stuff to do and an unbelievable amount of minigames. The story constantly suprises you with crazy fan service and great character moments you would never expect. The changes to the story from the original do leave some aspects of it weaker but they certainly do work towards making awesome **** happen
