Despite this game being absolutely terrifying, it's execution is slightly worse than some of its earlier creations. You play as a young girl who goes out to karaoke with friends, only to be hunted down by a teacher after hours. You must find a way to safely escape before being killed. The unique art style makes this game different from most other horror experiences, but the AI for the teacher is very clunky and it's decision making doesn't really make sense. It addition, some of the alternate endings of this game feel unsatisfying to finally achieve. Despite there being flaws in the general gameplay, the game itself is TERRIFYING and I'd 100% encourage horror fans to give it a try.

Dragon Ball Legends is an interesting experience. The game is relatively simple in its approach, with different units featuring different abilities and gimmicks being available to pull from banners. The graphics of this game are enjoyable and each character has very expressive moves and abilities. The gameplay itself is enjoyable, however does get repetitive after a while. The game is also especially hard to play online unless you spend money on it, leading down the path of micro-transactions and pay-to-win, though there are unique things for free-to-play gamers to enjoy, such as challenging side events to develop limited-time characters. While online is an enjoyable experience, the ladder is filled with robots and servers can crash at any moment, leading to a variety of issues.

What makes this game so beloved to me is how TERRIFYING it is, not via your traditional mascot horror method, but because it can happen to anyone. While working as a barista, you play as a young girl trying to serve customers, as you slowly realise that not everything is as it seems, and that someone is watching you. The unique graphic design and diverse jump scares has you on the edge of your seat at all times, with an amazing climax that makes an incredible ending for the game. This game succeeds in combining a horror game with a simulation of a work shift very well, leading to gameplay elements that are challenging in of themself, made harder with your nerves constantly on alert. Overall an amazing experience, would HIGHLY recommend to all fans of horror games.

Sonic Frontiers

While it doesn't deliver in the same way the previous instalments have, Sonic Frontiers is a game that I had a VERY fun time playing. This game feels like it was intended to bring character development to the main 4 characters (Sonic, Tails, Amy and Knuckles), giving them growth needed after what games like Sonic Forces had done to them. The graphics are very good, with cyber space's diverse lighting and visual effects looking astonishing, while also paying respect to older stages such as Green Hill and Sky Sanctuary, even if those areas are used quite a bit throughout the 5 islands. The gameplay is highly expressive, giving us control over Sonic the hedgehog in ways we've never seen before, such as with the Cyclone and Phantom Rush abilities. There's a large amount of boss fights in the game, each requiring the mastery of different mechanics to defeat, adding an additional level of challenge to the game. The main issue with the game is the first ending, where the potential for an amazing boss fight was turned into a minigame. This was fixed in the DLC for the game, but wouldn't be right to overlook. Said DLC allows for the player to play as Tails, Knuckles and Amy, each with their own skills and missions to complete. In terms of issues, the collectables can be tedious to collect, such as Vault Keys or Memory Tokens, as well as subtitles being unclear as to which character is talking during moments such as the Elder Koco cutscenes. The surrounding puzzles and memory token locations can be hard to spot due to the poor rendering quality, but can be overcome using the map feature. Overall, a super fun experience that I'd highly recommend and is highly worth the price

this is a rare case where a game is actually more enjoyable without updating it, as I'd argue the MANY issues the game had before patches made the experience much more enjoyable. This game has humour that couldn't get even a pity laugh out of me, poor graphics and clunky controls that can make a game harder to play than it already is. The story is inconsistent and illogical, with time travel themes which honestly only feel included for the Shadow boss fight. The characters act completely different to their original characters, with Knuckles the Echidna being absurdly dumb, Amy the Hedgehog's personality feeling extremely inconsistent, and Dr Eggman's inclusion honestly seems unneeded outside of Metal Sonic's inclusion. This is alongside many smaller issues such as cutscenes having characters dropping items, and then having them in their hands on the next scene, or random effects such as slow-motion that serve no dramatic purpose, Not only is it poor-quality, but it's also not an enjoyable experience. The introduction didn't deliver nearly as much as the development team intended, but the cliff-hanger used at the ending doesn't show us anything new or interesting. It's an absolute waste of time and I'd suggest gamers avoid playing it.

I've been trying to figure out how to rate this game, and I've finally come to the conclusion that there's no way it deserves a positive score. There are SO many issues, from supporting characters spawning in already dead, models being glitched, glitches to scale walls for many characters, or leaving ACTUAL OUT-TAKES in the game. The frame rate will randomly drop, the loading screens can take multiple minutes to load and the games overall optimisation was terrible. The games story and characters are what save it from becoming an absolute 0, with characters such as Silver the hedgehog and Shadow the Hedgehog being done really well, alongside an interesting series of events and thrilling boss fights. However, not only is the ending disappointing and actually quite disgusting, but the experience mostly feels like a complete waste of time. Spare yourself the experience of playing this game, it's simply not worth it.

"Okay, so what if we took the Angry Birds series.. but it was in SPACE?!" Honestly, I think the game is very enjoyable, with the new skins of characters being surprisingly well designed for a space-setting. The graphics and physics are overall worse than some of its previous versions but are still barrable nonetheless. It has the occasional ad which can be turned off via Wi-Fi, and micro-transaction, but the game is still beatable without them. Overall this is a fun little game to play in your off time, would recommend but I'd equally understand if you didn't enjoy it.

I'm entirely mixed on this game. For one, the framerate is abysmal, basically requiring anyone without a high-tech PC to turn every quality setting to its lowest. The loading times even to this day are way too long, taking possibly minutes at a time to load one area. The subtitles can cover half your screen, and this doesn't help when voice lines overlap. Some areas you enter can randomly be unloaded, or you could STILL get soft-locked in hiding spots, even after the many updates. On the other hand, the models and story of the game is quite nice, alongside there being many endings in a comic-book style. The map is large and rewards you for exploration to a degree, with the animatronics having interesting personalities that you can discover along the way. The DLC of this game makes it much more barrable, though still requires a hefty price to unlock. I'm not sure I'd recommend this game to someone, but it was a fun experience overall.

In comparison to the first Chapter of the game, this is a major improvement. Larger storage space for the wide range of items you'd want to store for later use, more characters included in the dark world, features such as recruitment and even alternate routes that acts like a genocide route from Undertale. Even the music has experienced greater improvement since the first game, with hits such as Queen's theme and "Now's you chance to be a [EX]". The graphics have also increased, with a larger variety of sprites for the main cast, the overall saturation being improved and I personally found the humour to be improved. The secrets of the game are now discoverable without a guide, taking away the flaws of the previous chapter. Aside from that, the game has some memory issues in terms of syncing your actions between Chapter 1 and 2 together. For example, sometimes you will not have the opportunity to get the shadow crystal from Jevil, as the game hasn't registered that you defeated him. Additionally, some sections of the game can be hard to navigate such as Queen's mansion. Though overall its an enormous improvement and it leaves me desperate for the next chapters to come.

Among every version of Minecraft, the PC version is the best. With a world limit of 30,000,000 x 30,000,000 blocks, there is an endless amount of enjoyment to be had. This version is the most consistent to get new updates, and lets you select the version of the game you want to play, a curtesy most versions don't have. You also get to choose which instalment you want on PC, between Bedrock and Java edition, each having different qualities and differences, alongside selectable servers and features. And Minecraft is already arguably the greatest game ever made, with amazing music, gameplay, hidden lore to look for, rewards exploration, and has an endless amount of things to do. Unfortunately it limits the capabilities of the game, with it being basically impossible to get every advancement in one Minecraft world due to the surrounding border. Otherwise the game is great, being an immersive experience that people of any age can enjoy, giving you complete freedom of how to play the game, The controls are also limited to the Xbox controllers, however the sensitivity option can be adjusted to suit the players preferences, alongside many other options. The music is beautiful and there is a near unlimited amount of things you can do.

Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu was an interesting experience. The graphics are amazing, with the lighting and graphic details making every area a pleasure to look at, with all the updated models of the Pokémon being much more saturated and animated. The HMs being replaced by Pikachu learning different technique's was a welcome inclusion, however didn't feel realistic. In terms of gameplay, the catching feature can be troublesome at times, sending the poke balls the complete opposite direction of their intended destination. The removal of settings changed such as the EXP. Share was also frustrating, making the game ridiculously easy to complete with a team 20 levels higher than your opponents. While the game gives us the same storyline as the original games, the use of Mega Evolution and storyline around Mewtwo was very welcome, in addition to the postgame letting us see the gym leaders full teams, as well as fight Red and Blue from the Gen 2 games. While it was a fun experience, it doesn't come without its issues, and so I'd recommend giving it a chance, but I'd also understand if it wasn't to your liking.

This game can become so easily addicting, whether it be playing alone, online or with a friend group. The graphics are absolutely phenomenal, and the controls are very smooth and allow for some very creative manoeuvres that can put you in the lead with enough practice. there is a wide ranged of customization and character selection, from The Legend of Zelda, to Splatoon to Animal Crossing. While the online servers can have some issues, they're relatively smooth and allow for gameplay that feels like there's someone playing with you offline. The item distribution feels a lot more balanced in comparison to previous instalments, giving people at a disadvantage the chance to come back from even the toughest of predicaments, while also giving players in the lead the possibility to defend themselves from attacks. Overall I love this this game and think it's second only to Mario Kart Wii, and highly think anyone with a Nintendo Switch should give it a try.

As a kid, I would play this game all the time, and it honestly still astounds me. There are SO many characters to choose from, including individual voice lines and quests to unlock them all, which are all entertaining and link to their characters fairly well. The main map is enormous and is so fun to fly around. The game massively rewards exploration, with secrets hidden around every corner if you look hard enough. While there are some bad jokes and the story can drag on a bit, it's a story that's supposed to take away from the violence of the show to deliver to a younger audience, so that makes sense. This doesn't stop some of the audio issues where voice lines and music can overlap or continue in areas it shouldn't, as well as certain levels lagging, especially on the final level where Galactus is on-screen. Despite these issues. Overall, it's a fun experience for any long time fan of marvel and I'd highly recommend it!

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Sonic Games, this is an amazing way to deliver to long time fans. The choice to give us classical and modern versions of Sonic was a spectacular decision, giving us ways to experience the classic games in its 2D style, and the more modern 3D style of the games. The stages are also beautifully recreated, with colours and details that make you feel great to be playing the game. The storyline is also enjoyable, with Eggman finding a deity that can manipulate time and space and using it undo all of Sonics victories, only for him and his past self to fight both modern and classic Eggman with the support of all the friends he's made along the way. It's touching, thrilling and puts a smile on my face everything i play it. Would highly recommend.

There is no excuse for this software being the way it is. If we've already purchased an already expensive game, why should we be expected to spend $15 extra to move them across each instalment? Especially considering that the game threatens to delete your Pokémon that are stored in other boxes once a subscription runs out, punishing you if you can't afford it. The only redeeming feature Pokémon Home has is the GTS feature, which was removed entirely from the mainline games for no apparent reason. Anything else it offers includes starter Pokémon that can be obtained easily by other means or a mythical Pokémon that REQUIRES you to spend money to obtain. Its like an entirely different form of pay-to-win. The music is also ridiculously annoying, requiring me to turn down the console every time I use it. Make this software free and find a way to stop data destruction.

As a huge fan of Undertale, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I picked up this game, and I'll happily say that I was surprised in a good way. This game shows us monster-kind in a happier setting with normal lives on the surface, but Kris and their classes bully Susie run into some trouble after discovering a gate into the dark world. This is where they face the challenge of sealing the dark fountains and saving the world from eternal darkness. And while it sounds serious on the surface, the reality is that the game is comedic and fun. Much like Undertale, each character is given a deep personality that isn't overshadowed by their comedic moments, with even more beautiful music produced by Toby Fox. There are secrets to discover all throughout the game that require problem-solving and adventuring skills, including a secret boss fight that is harder than even the king of the land. Despite its incredible execution, it does have its issues. The characters actions don't feel as though they serve any difference to the world around them, with the only thing they feel required for being a puzzles that requires multiple people. Every fight in the game could be completed by Kris alone, making Susie and Ralsei's involvement feel unnecessary. Additionally, there are some secrets that may not be possible for a player to find without using some sort of guide, such as moving between two random rooms fast enough to increase a value that'll eventually send you to another room (this secret doesn't tell you anything and isn't significant in the slightest). Despite these flaws, I still believe its an incredible game and I look forward to playing the rest of the chapters as they come out.

The game itself is fun, a murder mystery game with different roles, accessories and easter eggs relating to the Henry Stickmin series. The game itself is enjoyable, but slowly became more and more tedious overtime. The game became easy to cheat in, as well as using accounts in a way that are annoying and difficult to set up. Lobbies can also randomly crash at anytime, and there is no punishment for players leaving games simply because they didn't get the role they wanted. Despite this, the roles add a new layer of the game and heavily alter how difficult it is to catch the right person, while also making it difficult to trust anyone. The tasks have become less annoying and tedious and the game only keeps improving as time goes on. I'd recommend trying it out, though I'd understand if you wouldn't want to continue the experience.

After 100%ing this horror game disguised as a visual novel, I can comfortably say that it's a great and unique experience compared to every other horror game currently on the market. While you need to play on PC to really feel immersed, the story is split between two different narratives. The first is the player, or MC, joining a literature club and choosing a girl you want to "fall in love" with, while slowly realising that something unusual is happening. The second is Monika, who realises that she is the only person that knows she lives inside a game, and that MC is the only person that understands her and is real, leading to the events of the game. The artwork of the backgrounds and the characters are good, with issues with the setting of the game being addressed in series with humorous intent. The additional content mostly explains the lore of the game, both in-universe and the creation that led to Monika and the other characters. These also come with new beautiful soundtracks and artwork, adding a reward to taking a deeper look at the game. Overall, a great experience that is full of surprises and an enjoyable experience all around, would recommend.

I have over 180 hours in this game, and I honestly believe it's a very fun title. The overall graphics are decent, making some areas look incredible, while some can seem a little lacklustre. The inclusion of areas such as the wild area, isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra make this game feel immersive, alongside the gimmick of Dynamax or Gigantamax giving it a unique touch, feeling like an intense kaiju battle at time. The Pokémon are well designed, giving new regional variants to existing Pokémon that give them more inclusion in the competitive scene. The story follows Chairman Rose trying to warn the strongest trainers of the Galar region about an incoming disaster, with no one looking to help him, and so he decides that he'll bring the apocalypse due to happen in hundreds of years to today, forcing the region to fend it off. This game doesn't come without its problems however, with an inability to disable certain features that were optional in previous instalments such as the EXP Share, as well as the late-game becoming quite repetitive after the storyline that gives you access to the box art legend of the game. The DLC saves this by giving us so many new quests to complete and Pokémon to catch, but the price tag to achieve those adventures isn't very inviting. Regardless, I'd recommend this game to you, as I found it to be an overall fun experience.

For one, luck is a massive part of the game, with it being possible for you to be killed simply because another player/CPU spawned on top of you/your line. It's also flooded with adverts, essentially requiring you to turn off your Wi-Fi or mobile data to play it undisturbed. This is, without question, one of my favourite games of all time. This small 2D RPG was never intended to receive the enormous popularity it did, but looking back at it, it's clear why that happened. With a small budget to make a game, Toby Fox wanted to try his first ever project, and so created one of the most amazing stories ever portrayed in gaming history. Every character feels like they have deeper secrets or have problems that you can help them overcome, while also being the complete opposite of boring. There's a large variety of areas throughout the game that encourage you to try different things that no other RPG would. This game is also unique for its ability to completely change its tone depending on player decisions, altering its music and sound effects entirely. Speaking of which, Undertale may very well have the greatest soundtrack of any game ever created, with everyone from non-Undertale fans to first-day followers easily being able to nod their heads to the phenomenal tracks that Toby Fox has created. Overall, an absolute masterpiece that every gamer should try at least once.

The battling mechanics are alright but are essentially required if you want to be able to keep half of the Pokémon you catch. It pains me to give this game such a mediocre rating considering how excited I was for it. The game feels rushed, with a large majority of the game feeling like a slideshow made in Microsoft Paint, while also retelling the exact story of the jujutsu Kaisen anime while missing all the iconic moments. The game also doesn't account for characters moves during battles linking up to the current lore. For example, you can land 4 consecutive black flashes as Yuji Itadori before eating a single Cursed finger, or use a domain expansion on Sukuna during his and Gojo's first fight. Despite this, the graphics and sound effects of the fighting sections are actually quite good, with a beautiful selection of maps to choose from that heavily alter the gameplay. Each character has a move set that expresses them as a character with moves from the source material, with the DLC giving you access to very fun to play characters in the form of Teen Gojo and Toji Fushiguro. And while the combat feature makes up for it, the story and offline sections of the game are worthless in pursuing, being a boring retelling of a story that I could spend a fraction of the games price on to understand.

The first Mainline Pokemon game to bring 3D to the series, and I'll happily hold my ground when I say its my favourite game in the entire series. Firstly, the visuals are astonishing for being the first 3D game, with beautiful lighting from the fields and dark forests, to the beaches and seas across the land. The Pokemon models and moves are really expressive with vibrant colours that really bring them to life. Pair this alongside the astonishing soundtrack, with motivational, sad, exiting and dramatic music at every turn. The story is quite normal for a Pokemon game but doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the experience, with you and your new friend group exploring to achieve their dreams, whether it be Tierno wanting to become a famous dancer, to Trevor wanting to compete the Pokedex. There are various events in the story that bring you closer, from exploring the pokemon mansion, to going to a haunted house or simply having friendly battles every now and again. Pair that with the main villain Lysandre always thinking about going through with his plan of launching the ultimate weapon because of humankind ruining the beauty of the world, which leads to a moral dilemma. There are also different histories to explore, whether it be the great Pokemon war 1000 years ago, to AZ and his Floette, or the connection between Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde. In terms of gameplay the early access to the EXP. Share can allow you to choose the difficulty of your playthrough, with turning it off being challenging and keeping it on making it easier for more casual players to progress. There are also features like super training that make certain tasks such as EV training much easier. The game is generally happy to give you the experience you want, giving you features that allow you to fast-travel through the game, but not making them mandatory. The gimmick of this generation is Mega Evolution, and is honestly incredible, giving Pokemon that were previously unusable a chance in the spotlight, as well as just being really cool in general. While many argue the post-game is poor, I found it interesting. There are many different things you can try, whether it be the side-story with Looker and Anna, the Friend Safari or the battle château that give you different things to do. Overall, I've never had so much fun playing a Pokemon game and highly recommend it if you haven't played it already.

I've played this game for over 100 hours, and I will admit that I was disappointed with how it turned out in comparison to Legends: Arceus before it. The graphics leave much to be desired, with large amounts of area looking extremely lacklustre in comparison to many other open world games such as Breath of the Wild and Marvels Miles Morales. The frame-rate doesn't help this fact, being completely unoptimized leaving to large amounts of lag that can take away whole hours of gameplay, or even randomly crash for no apparent reason. The models of the Pokemon are arguably worse in comparison to Sword and Shield, especially with the moves looking rushed and unfinished. Pair this alongside the many unpatched glitches that allow you to move through the floor and climb up surfaces you shouldn't be able to, and you're already not on the best track. Aside from the generally disappointing visuals and graphics, the game does have some very interesting new designs, alongside an interesting story to back it up. While I can understand why people would have an issue with the characters, I personally enjoy them and find them to be great and entertaining personalities alongside a long and fun adventure. The new gimmick of terastallization is a very interesting innovation that can make battles both offline and online a challenge, requiring foresight and prediction unlike any title before it. There are also many methods to be able to quickly level up your Pokemon in the late-game, saving players from hours of grinding. Overall, I feel like the game had a great concept and storyline, but its awful graphics and rushed development made what could've made a masterpiece completely mediocre.

As of writing, I have over 1,700 hours playing this game, and I cannot stress how enjoyable of an experience it is. It's a both a party and fighting game title, where you deal damage to opponents to build up their damage, before launching them off-stage to gain points, and I've found it to be a very enjoyable experience! Firstly, its graphics far surpass any of its predecessors, looking extremely detailed and polished, alongside classic and new sounds alike being edited perfectly for the newest instalment of the franchise. This is also one of the largest gaming crossovers of all time, with each character having an expressive move set that represents their original game despite the large roster. This also come with the possibility to play with up to 8 players at once, on stages that you can customise in the stage builder. The game has many different things you can do, whether it be unlocking all of the characters, playing through 'Classic mode' and attempting to reach the top score of 9.9, the story mode which involves fighting your way through the corrupt fighters to take down the final bosses, Galeem and Dharkon. There are over a thousand unique spirits and custom battles to be had, with deep strategy and puzzle-solving mixed in-between. The online feature allows you to fight opponents all around the world to gain GSP (Global Smash Points) to make your way to Elite Smash, giving player an ever higher goal to reach and being a difficult but also thrilling adventure. There are also different DLC packages that allow you to unlock new fighters such as Joker from Persona 5, Hero from Dragon Quest, and Kazuya from Tekken. These packages are not only worth he price, but also give you new stages, music tracks, spirits and a larger cast of characters to play with. Despite its praise, the characters can feel quite unbalanced despite their move sets being expressive of their games. I found in my time playing that there are certain characters that are simply better than others in ways that can make the game unenjoyable. Ganondorf from The legend of Zelda series for example, has strong attacks but is sluggish and hard to get back onto platforms with, while characters such as Sonic the hedgehog and Steve from Minecraft are dominant for having nearly every option that Ganondorf doesn't have. This comes alongside an online experience that has its own faults, such as servers randomly shutting down, randomly being kicked out of spectating matches or there being no punishment for players who rage-quit in the middle of games. Despite its downsides, I'd still rate this the best smash brothers game in the series and highly recommend it to you! It's absolutely worth the price and you is relatively simple and easy to get a hang of.
