Learned from this game more about engineering, economy, sales, marketing, customer services, and behavior mechanics than during all my years in school.

Ubisoft once was lauded as an innovator, then as a replicator, and today as a desecrator. This is not just a bad game because it has all the poor animations and awful voice acting, it is not just a recycled game because it reuses mechanics from 10+ games, this is a disrespectful game that desecrates the traditions and cultures.

No idea how this has a 7.5 rating, the game is just broken, and even savegame can't properly record NPCs location, lol. The game is an outdated half-baked mess. I give it 3 stars because the devs had to develop during wartime.

Avowed3

This game should be 25$ at best. Why? It has recycled tons of stuff from The Outer Worlds but without its music, deep story, charm, humor, and uniqueness. The story of Avowed is a boring half-baked continuity of the story is loosely connected to Pillars of Eternity, the followers are flat, the music is flat, and the gameplay is repetitive: kill the bear, loot the bear, find a chiming chest, kill the bear, find the lockpick, backtrack to another chest, kill the bear. I'm giving the game 3 points for: not abandoning a world of Eora, improving Outer Worlds gfx engine, and finishing the game. P.S.: why in the love of god you didn't cover existing gods and add some BS additional gods to an already complicated world, the gameplay is tic-tac-toe but the background story is more complex than Tolstoy's war and peace.

I give 2 points for the effort related to the Multiplayer, but I can't give more due to all the lies in marketing materials and trailers. So let's start with the positives:
• Multiplayer servers are somewhat stable.
• The new penalty system isn't perfect but works.
• The car selection and car cost are nice.
• Lots of settings for a casual person to comfortably learn simcade racing on a gamepad (you can literally make AI run the track for you)
• Game physics is a massive improvement especially related to curbs.
• Weather and global light systems make the game more immersive. Now the problems, lots of them, infinity and beyond:
• There is NO SPLIT SCREEN.
• There are no Nordschleife and no Monaco tracks.
• The graphics look nothing like in a trailer, the game has tons of issues with Ray Tracing.
• Replays are broken.
• You can't modify the tire compound until you spend about 1 hour racing each car, I'm not kidding, you just can't do it since the tire compound unlocks separately for each car at lvl 11.
• Car models are recycled from previous games.
• Game code carries bugs from FM7 (speed hack from FM still works)
• The game crashes every now and then.
• The game has a progression bug where if you quit or the game crashes you have to redo the last race.
• The HUD occasionally vanishes.
• The reflections and shadows glitch and flicker on quality RT mode.
• The rims of the cars are totally broken, where rims get replaced by a placeholder since they clearly had no time to animate all the rims.
• Car visuals in the shop tooltips don't look like the actual car.
• Problem with color and gamma, after changing the game needs to be hard restarted.
• There are no endurance racing tracks, only short/medium-length tracks.
• Very limited LOD.
• Very ugly skybox.
• Very short and boring single-player career, can be completed in 10 hours. TL:DR – The game is clearly unfinished. It was falsely advertised to be built from the ground up as it has tons of recycled components including car models and even bugs from FM7. It is clearly not worth its money in this state. It's not as exciting as the trailer shows. It's very glitchy. FH5 looks way better. But if you have a game pass Ultimate and you crave online simcade racing, then it's worth installing it for free. Turn10 you have lied to your customers and taken our money, bad bad bad move.

This is the deepest sandbox exploration game since Fallout 2. It is a legit space exploration that helps you to understand which star system is located where and which planets surround it. A lot of great fun exploring, shooting on the ground, and shooting in space. It has an amazing starship builder tool to build your unique spaceship. Pros:
• The game is huge, I'm typically finishing games within 100 hours, but I'm 120 hours in and still barely explored the game.
• Great side quests that feel like main quests.
• Great selection of weapons.
• Impactful skills that help me to focus on exploration rather than shooting everything.
• Powerful custom spaceship builder.
• Amazing sound and music, I mean it's so good I keep music in the background for my work.
• Interesting sci-fi story with space explorers, space pirates, political struggle, aliens, and artifacts. Cons:
• Graphics look dated on the console, like 4 years dated.
• Characters don't have depth to them.
• A lot of recycled content in different locations.
• Too many loading screens and loading is slow even on fast SSD.
• The main story is boring, more boring than many side quests.
• NPCs are flat.

Starting today I die a lot doing basically the same I was doing past 4 weeks and I can't figure out what actually went wrong. I guess this game is not for me anymore. Thank god I didn't chose to play hardcore.

I give this game 1 point because I paid for it through my game pass and didn't pay the full price. My recommendation to anyone looking into these reviews is to save time and buy games like Borderlands or Doom or even Duke Nukem 3D, which still look decent, have great AI, fun hooking gameplay, and a rewarding experience. P.S.: I don't blame Microsoft for this because you can't make an AAA game in 1 year, that's just not humanely possible with all of the complexities of modern game development, so I wasn't even expecting anything good out of RedFall, to begin with.

I bought ultimate edition on xbox series x to get maximum for money during 50% discount but still feel ripped off: Lots of model overlapping – people going through the ground, eyes/mouths desync, corpses falling through ground etc. Problems with motion tracking – teleportation, getting stuck in climbing, getting **** with mount Sound problems – things sound off everywhere with different dynamic range, different pitch, dialogues/ambient/music all sound different with some things sounding super low quality or like from under water. Model recycling – game has like 50 character models and main characters often reused for NPC models Lots of recycled missions/areas from Origins/Odyssey I'm almost at the end of the story and just forcing myself to complete the game because i've endured so much suffering getting to the point where I'm so giving up is not an option. Lots of glitches: glitched quests, glitched drunken, glitched regen, glitched graphics. Quality of Life Deterioration: torches are useless at dark places and at night still can't see anything, climbing types of walls may look the same but some can't be climbed, eagle sight useless, talents basically useless as the whole game can be completed without investing anything into any talents, Itemization useless as the whole game best weapons are at start and in the end, tedious rinse repeat tasks of breaking in houses with blocked doors and climbing between 2-3 towers for a chest with 1 paper inside. This game should have been an expansion pack for Odyssey as it doesn't bring any quality of life improvements rather brings quality of life deterioration. I had much much much more smooth experience in Origins and Odyssey than in Valhalla.

Overall: Game Design: 7 out of 10 (Good old F1 polished as much as it could have been) Graphics: 7 out of 10 (Best F1 graphics so far, but nothing special) Sound & Music: 8 out of 10 (Car sound is amazing, music between tracks could have had more variability) Single-player: Skill vs Luck: 8 out 10 (Singleplayer difficulty scales pretty well) Replay value: 8 out of 10 (Plenty of things to do in Campaign, championships, etc.) Value for money: 9 out 10 (Overall for Single-player the game gets a solid 9 out of 10 for everyone, even for casual people) Multi-player: Skill vs Luck: 10 out 10 (Fantastic experience online and hot seat, you can even play split screen with your casual friends with very flexible difficulty settings) Value for money: 10 out of 10 (The best multiplayer racing experience in 2019/2020 for anyone from fans to casuals) Replay value: 10 out of 10 (The best multiplayer racing experience of 2019/2020) P.S.: I bet Raghunathan can finally advance into F1 Grand Prix with this game.

Game Design: 8 out of 10 (platformer which comfortably integrates new features for the 35-year-old genre) Graphics: 8 out of 10 (fantastic backgrounds with stylish effects do not overload your screen but add a pleasant connection with the game) Sound & Music: 10 out of 10 (so good, that you will memorize both soundtrack and sound effects long after you stop playing) Skill vs Luck: 10 out 10 (perfect balance to please everyone from kids to hardcore speedrunners) Value for money: 10 out 10 (a massive improvement over already perfect 1st part, rich story, expanded characters, fantastic soundtrack) Replay value: 2 out of 10 (like any other open-world game after you complete 100% of the game there is little incentive to come back and replay it as it doesn't have game+ or similar mechanic) Solid 8 out of 10 overall score, a fantastic game for its money.

Game Genre: Simulator of Valve's greed. 2018 wasn't nice to gamers. I loved Valve's business direction for years. Played their amazing games since I was a 11 y.o. kid. HL1, HL2, TF1, TF2, CS 1.5/1.6, CS:GO, Dota2. I've always admired cosmetic ways of monetization in Valve's games, but this new direction is so wrong on many levels. The game itself is okay, but the way it revolves around MTX is wrong on many levels.
