A revisionist fantasy that plays very much like a mythological comic book adventure come to life. Very well edited and also amazing cinematography. The location and the set pieces and also the fact that at the center of it is a woman's story is absolutely great. The show will take its time to flesh out its story and become a forebearer of women fantasy stories told on TV following the path laid down by Xena and Buffy.

Emergence: Season 1

ABC's Emergence is really on-brand for the network. Just like with Downward Dog, the network is really trying to anchor longevity for Allison Tollman but viewers just won't give her a break with review bombing Downward Dog and now this! Guys please just stop doing this! It's ugly and does real damage to not only the actor's career but also the network. If you have some honest things to say then say it but don't put reviews for the sake of bringing the score down! I mean just come on!!! Not every show can be a Game of Thrones, Lost, The Good Wife or Succession. But they can be Grey's Anatomy, Fringe among others if they are given a chance. So don't just write bad review for the sake of it. I have gone over some of the reviews and they are just saying 'bad vibes' 'i don't trust ABC'. I mean really!! What kind of message are they trying to send. It does not say anything about demerits of the show and how that fails to meet expectations. The reason I gave a 10 is because I want the show to succeed and do well for the talent involved and also because I find it promising that it will deliver on those promises. So here's my 'constructive review' of the first episode. So I'll do a premier review, a middle of the season review and then the finale. Episode 1 - The opening sequence of the show was thrilling and kept me guessing right from the start. Allison's character is designed in a way to help us stay one step ahead of her. For e.g. the fake parents scene was something I knew right from the beginning but the way it unfolds in front of the character was interesting and adds to the naivety of the character. It is this naivety that help us sympathize with her and understand the story from her perspective. Her taking care of Piper is very Hopper and Eleven from Stranger Things but this seems fresh because of the way Jo is. She wants to protect Piper from anyone who would do her harm and that adds dept and an emotional foundation for their story which could have pay offs seasons later. Another interesting aspect of the show is its lighting. The nights seems really dark and mysterious with a tinge of delicacy. The way the lighting is shown on the characters make them seem delicate especially Jo. The directing was pretty standard, it didn't seem to do anything interesting with the pilot but the writing was one which I really liked. It did not give away plot points very easily except the fake parents scene. The kidnapping scene where Jo and everyone else are trying to find the housebreakers was also good and added real tension. Now, I really like that ABC is trying to market it as a mystery-box show when it clearly has science-fiction elements with Piper's telepathy powers (i'm going with it). The very end seem to suggest to me that Piper knows herself because the face acting sure seem to suggested that and when she takes out the chip from her side neck and then covers that area with her hair implied that fact. I don't know what Piper's origins are but I really hope that it's not an experimental accident because that would be just so boring! We've seen that on Stranger Things already so I don't want to see it happen again. My overall score for this episode: 7.5/10

For 1 entire week, I was grooving to Madonna's Vogue! But, more importantly, I now know what it meant back in the day. The song still feels like it was made in our current time. and **** truly a very special show that I have grown to love. I love everything about it! It is so well **** just when you think that Ryan Murphy can't possibly do better! he goes and tops himself again!!! this time.

Even If you remove Meryl Streep, Big Little Lies S02 is truly enthralling! Everything from the characters to the directing seems so effortlessly done, that there really is nothing to complain about and it makes for compelling viewing on your TV! Something to watch all summer! But when Meryl Streep is on screen, she brings in these subtle qualities that really lift the show up a notch and makes the show a truly great watch! Forget big budget TV! This is something that you don't want to miss out on! I loved watching it and can't wait to get more out of it!!! Episode 1 - 9.5/10 Episode 2 - 9.4/10

A much better third season than Daredevil. I loved the closure of the character arcs especially Trish and Jessica. I really think that the show show had more stories to tell but with these three seasons, the show did them very well and really did go out on a high! Wish for a fourth season on Disney+

Why!! Just why!!! The show that defined our times became so bad in the past season and now this! it's just pathetic. There are absolutely no character beats in any of the characters except maybe Sansa and Arya but apart from that everyone and everything is just happening and the viewers couldn't give more of a **** The writers, I can't believe i'm saying this for freaking Game of thrones but..., the writers who I thought were the best on TV have completely lost the story, the little moments that made the show great, the writing that made the characters spark and the dialogues spit-out like wildfire!! Where is all of that!! I need it back!!!!! I am giving myself the benefit of the doubt that they can at least not make a bad series finale. I would absolutely hate for Game of Thrones to have one of the worst series finale in TV history. Please don't do that, bring back the Game of Thrones I fell in love with, the TV juggernaut that knew how to tell a story that caught us by surprise!!!

Yes, it definitely feels a bit like Lost but in my opinion, it does have its own story to tell. The way the show hints at how it will use character dynamics and their relations looks intriguing and I will continue to watch the mystery unfold as it goes along.

THE BEST SCI-FI SHOW OF THE DECADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE THE ATMOSPHERE, THE ACTING, THE SPECIAL EFFECTS!!! EVERYTHING IS TOP-NOTCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S MY FAVORITE AND THE THING IS THAT WHEN YOU LOOK AT WESTWORLD S02E01, THAT SHOW HAS BURIED ITSELF IN ITS OWN MYTHOLOGIES AND MATRIXES! THAT IT'S ALMOST INCOMPREHENSIBLE WHAT'S EVEN HAPPENING ON THAT SHOW ANYMORE??!!!!! However, what's kept the 100 afloat all these years is that it has gone WAY BEYOND its initial expectations. To put it simply, no other show as used its genre as well as the 100 and for that reason alone, I think it deserves a 2nd or 3rd spot on the best sci-fi shows of the decade!

I have not grown-up with the show but the show STILL managed to connect with me on a deeper level than any other current network sitcom!! That is the power of ROSEANNE!!! It turned me into a fan, a person who only tuned in for the first time last night and managed to make the characters so unique and likable that I instantly fell in love with them!! I would love for some EMMY & Golden Globe nominations after seeing how outstanding the WRITING!! is on this show!! It's just unbelievably GREAT!!!!!!! and the blokbuster ratings is proof of that (finally America is embracing shows that rightfully should be embraced [This Is Us and now Roseanne: Return]
