The mechanics fail to hold on the long term, what with everything being about entering a numbered room and investigating every piece of furniture available time and time again....

Would've been a great game 15 years ago, in a time where its mechanics didn't feel aged and miserable to play through... at this point this franchise is all about the story and cinematics which makes most of the gameplay redundant. Great graphics tho.

Despite having everything against them, the devs managed not to f&%# this one up.... which goes to show that suits shall always win, be it in favor of the crowds or concealed behind the love-driven labrious work of the devs, that which, after a 30-ish hours run, has managed to place this game at the level of that which was done 7 years ago in Revachol, Le Caillou.
