One of those games that makes you log into Metacritic immediately after playing it just to tell everyone how mind blown you were by it. Just wow! Hats off to the entire development team. Must play for anyone who has a second player who can play video games decently to some degree and not hold the other person back.

Art/design: 10/10 Programming: 3/10 Warning: the amount of game-breaking bugs is so large that I suspect 1/4 of the players will not be able to complete it due to running into one of these bugs somewhere along the 15-hour journey.

GOTG contender for sure. The middle section of the game may drag a wee bit, but otherwise, no other game in existence gives you the feelings, emotions, and sense of wonder this did. If you think about it, it's the first game in many many years to never incite a feeling of Deja-Vu at all. You've seriously never played anything like this.

Unexpectedly entertaining for $10. I can't think of a reason anyone would hesitate to go for it, if they like FMV experiences at all. At slightly over 2 hours for me, I found the acting very good, the cinematography excellent, and the story unique and unfamiliar. I definitely need to replay it at least once more to get more out of the story, as a single playthrough seems like it's not telling you everything. It also leaves the entire course of events open to interpretation as it can be seen from two wildly different perspectives. Just don't go in expecting gamey "gameplay," but I'm not sure why anyone really would from something that was clearly filmed with live actors...

You know a review is fake if it complains about wasting $60 because the game only costs $30... Otherwise, this is one of the most unique, emotionally fresh, graphically pleasing, unnerving experiences of all time. I did not even know about this game until a coupe days ago, and I bought it already. That was the fastest discovery-to-purchase time for any game in my library.

Holy crap. Holy crap. They've done it again. Once again like The Unfinished Swan, you feel and experience emotions you've never felt before. Something warm and cold and mysterious and comfortable all at the same time. I just finished the game and had to run to the computer to write this review, since I normally do not write any. Giant Sparrow display their amazing creativity in the gameplay mechanics found in each story of the family members. It's much like Gone Home, but with more variety and actual involvement to keep you interested.

These reviews are all exaggerated and/or fake. The gameplay is decent: the platforming is fun, while the gunplay is atrocious and overused. Also the AI ****. The visuals are phenomenal, though the art style is mediocre most of the time. The story is absolute trash. I'm sorry but anyone who says it's even slightly decent is lying to themselves. This game is nowhere near comparable to Uncharted, obviously. It's more in-line with the quality of other above-average games like Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs, or Mirror's Edge. The other reviews only mention it because they are most likely Square Enix employees trying to market their game with false user reviews.

I swear I'm not giving it a 10 just to counter the trolling 0s. It's a ND game, so it's unfair to score these on the same scale we use for non-ND games, as they would all be 10s in comparison. But, yes, as expected, UC4 is our first contender for Game of the Generation. Fine maybe Bloodborne too.

Incredible. Even though you'll spend 25% of the game swearing at the developers, nothing gives you this intense atmosphere and actual magical feeling in your gut as you progress. It's unbelievable that all the animation and art was done with Unity, and it looks like millions of dollars of work was put into something that is sold for only $20. The soundtrack is also so good that it was one of the few I went out and purchased without thinking. The only thing I wish was that the ending wasn't so unexectedly sudden and the last sequence was not very fun or rewarding either, just slightly annoying and bland.

Deja Vu is the feeling you get when you touch Destiny. This obviously is not Bungie's game. It has zero passion or soul in it. Rather than feeling like its own game or entitiy, it feels like an amalgam of other games you know very well, which ruins the immersion. The entire vision of this game seems like something publishers came up with using statistics and market research to maximize profit, dlc opportunity, and player grinding time - an amalgam of mass-appealing game elements stuck together. Too much deja vu for me, having played Halo, Borderlands, and Mass Effect extensively. I strongly suggest you do not support a future industry of generic FPS games.

The world Media Molecule has created is one of the most original and imaginative of all time. The way paper is creatively used for many things is beautiful. And their cast of quirky characters, along with the neat and heartwarming story are charming beyond belief. The graphics, controls, framerate are all so smooth and perfect. Everything actually looks and feels like paper. The physics are critical in this feel, and they're spot on as well: every piece of paper you walk on moves believably. Just play Tearway asap

This game is underrated and sadly overlooked. It is also the most original game of this generation, other than ThatGameCompany's works. The visuals are outstanding, and so unique never before seen style and amazing animation. The theatre theme and overlay make it feel like you're playing something different, almost like it's not a game. Voice acting is superb, with Picarina being one of the most original and likable characters ever, once you get past the shock that she sounds like a sassy valley girl. Gameplay is also brilliant and wildly unexpected. Scizzors as a game mechanic? Crazy right? But it works so well and is so satisfying! BUY THIS GAME NOW WITHOUT HESITATION. Then thank me later.

I give this game ~9.5 I heard great things about this game before, but I never would have thought it would be THIS fantastic! The story is so.. compex, brilliant, thoughtful, disturbing, creepy, and touching all at the same time. The "endings" structure of the game makes it one of the most complex games since Myst. The characters are unique and likeable. And nothing is predictable or goes as planned. This game's story may be the biggest mind-f**ks in the history of gaming!!!!! Gonna buy its sequest day 1.

Okay, currently this game is rivalling Uncharted 2 and MGS4 for the best game of this gen. This game is not afraid to KICK YOU IN THE BALLS, over and over and over again. You'll know what I mean once you play it. The paralyzing opening sequence is one of the best of all time. This game is also the first game ever to be genuinely SCARY. It's the only time in any game (or movie because horror movies **** these days and are predictable) that I've actually felt fear. The dark areas with clickers will make your heart pound constantly. And the jaw-dropping artistic visuals, expert voice acting, and insanely detailed animations are the best on consoles ever. The multiplayer, too, gives the same experience as the story, due to its brilliant design. It feels extremely tense, and sometimes scary too, with so many video-worthy moments per match. Think of a survival-themed SOCOM. Yeah it's almost that tactical. If you're reading this review, it means you're not playing the game. So get back to playing it! IN NAUGHTY GOD WE TRUST Also, who are these poor jealous pathetic xbox teenagers coming here to rage and give this game a zero for a save bug that could be fixed by restarting the system and no progress was lost. (and the bug itself was fixed within hours of the game's release)

Okay, first off, either every reviewer has gone insane and has not played a game since 2008 or Square Enix (the publisher) made sure to pay a very very grand sum of cash straight to most of them to give this game unreasonably high scores just to artificially push sales, because gamers these days only care about scores. Now onto the game: it is decent. Very flawed, yet abnormally good at some few parts. The art direction is great most of the time sometimes it's very brown and grey and ugly. Other times the green trees and fog is delightful. The graphical quality is average not good not bad. The animations are a mixed bag, though, with Lara's animations (while exploring) being very smooth and fluid, while during combat and "cinematic" set pieces they look blocky and bad. The combat is quite boring, and there is a lot of it, detracting from the whole emotional "a survivor is born!" storyline. Yeah, more like a raging killer one woman army sodier is born in the first 15 minutes. This makes the entire story falter, not that the already annoying and stereotypical cast of characters and predictable enemies and plot twist at the end doesn't. I mean really, ANOTHER Drake's Fortune plot twist? Overall the game is just very strangely built. It feels like the story and gameplay department didn't work together and then combined their parts at the very end. It's like making a hamburger with a hot dog bun on one half. The combat is tedious with subpar shooting mechanics, the platforming is satisfying, the puzzles are good, the story tries but fails, and I'm not even getting started with the horrendous multiplayer they shoved into the franchise. This is not the game we expected: no openness, no survival whatsoever, and no mature dark theme.

Let me say this game is terribly underrated. The mechanics are great, voice acting is superb, the story is well done, and the characters and humor are some of the most likeable, ever. The visuals are also gorgeous: while the art style and colors are unbeatable, I was expecting maybe slightly more detailed and advanced visuals from a ps3 Sly (ie fur physics, etc). So, everyone, go buy this game. IT'S ONLY FORTY EFFING DOLLARS FOR PS3 AND VITA COMBINED! Do you need any excuse not to buy this? One of the only ps2 style games left in this gen and onward. Please support games like this.

One of the greatest downloadable games of all time, imo. The graphics and art style are impossibly amazing. The gameplay is so simple but so clever, puzzling, creative and dynamic. The gameplay constantly changes drastically from chapter to chapter (maybe too quickly: just as you get used to a mechanic it changes). The music is some of the best out there, as well. Wonderful! The only gripe is that the game ends kinds when you dont expect it; and the white-canvas levels are scarce. Buy it now. Thank me later.

I have no clue what people are talking about this is the best f2p game of all time no questions asked. Play it on a decent pc then come back complaining. There are no lag or bugs or whatnot people are complaining about.

This game is much better than I expected. The fighting is deep, the controls are perfect, and the supers system works really well and is a nice change of pace from every other fighter. The only annoyance is why the hell is Bioshock Infinite and MG Rising and the new DMC in here when they aren't even released. If any of them end up ****, they will be forever stuck tarnishing this game.

I have zero clue where the negatives for this game come from. Yes, the SP is a tutorial, but that's the point of it: short an effficient. The multiplayer is some of the best of all time. The game mechanics are innovative, the art style is amazing, and the soundtrack is the best I've heard in recent years. Games like Starhawk and Twisted Metal get flak for lackluster campaigns when they're obviously MP-driven games. But Battlefield and CoD get a free pass for having crap campaigns? I guess, these days, good tough games with strategy required are scored low while adhd stuff is gloriously praised. Remember guys, if CoD is highly rated, then ratings have become useless. Buy the game now.

Can somebody please get these intellect-lacking users giving 0s and 1s off this site?! Anyways, this is now officially the greatest downloadable title of ALL TIME. No game will touch you on the high subliminal, emotional, and intellectual level that Journey does. When you get the game, you'll realize how high the production values are, and you'll see why 15 dollars may even be too low.
