The Lost World: Jurassic Park10

I was born at the perfect time for this franchise to rock my world. Growing up, kids had dinosaur toys and played dinosaur games. My taste in cars is still influenced by this movie. I hear about critics digging into this film all the time and laugh. This film enthralled so many young hearts to the love of dinosaurs and cemented the first film into lasting memory.

I liked it. It was a movie with a message that race doesn't matter that came off more like that race doesn't matter in the face of evil. Well, they messed that up, but since it's in the film and leads to some hilarious scenes, I am okay with it. In my eyes, they fixed their own own mistake on presenting their political message with humour. Now onto the actual film: some actors had more time to shine which was a shame because the cast all did great. Because it's an action movie, maybe that doesn't even matter. Why develop characters when they are fodder? That's a very Wild West view. Imagery pulled me in and the tactics were pretty authentic to my knowledge to the expense of maybe getting draggy because of the attention to detail. I LOVED THAT! This movie wasn't a politically neutral film, but it was a blast of an adventure with a great battle scene. I'd recommend this film.

TRON: Legacy8

This movie was visually stunning. The actors brought me in and the creativity was off the charts cool. And of course the music was great. This film was a treat. My big issues were that the extended scenes don't merge into the film, which pulled me out of the film. The plot also doesn't allow me to watch this movie too often because whilst the acting and visual effects and the action were stunning, the story around the conclusion of the film gave up the ghost.

Eddie Murphy played a pretty hilarious part and his motley crew was just as funny. Personally, I believe there was little bad acting in it. The humour however while pertaining to realistic scenarios that most people have had to deal with, was a bit raunchy to watch in front of family. I would still recommend this film as a funny sci-fi adventure film that kind of plays like a game of D&D.

Chris Farley is a treat to watch and so is this movie. I once watched this as an extra credit assignment in a business class. I can't even remember the class, just watching and writing the book report :) This film is a good memory and the message about the Rust Belt still rings true.

I really fell for this film. The location was stunning (and so is Julianne Hough) and her journey was inspiring. This was an adorable little romantic flick that seemed realistic.

I loved the Firefly series and this film was a gorgeous visual spectacle. How is Western/Sci-fi not more popular? The ships, The 'Verse', the music, and the characters all pulled me in.

This is my favourite Western movie. These actors were amazing and many went on to star in some of my other favourites.

I keep an eye out for Kenneth Branagh and this movie was a real treat with all the high caliber actors. I never get disinterested when watching this film.

I liked it. Learning Civil War history for me is just as freaky as watching this wild ride of a film and the acting was fantastic. This was my first Kenneth Branagh and Kevin Kline film.
