Another Year, Another Downgraded Game. I like how everyone is praising Frostbite Graphics, but if you go to NHL 16, 17, or even 18, you'll notice that the Frostbite Graphics look like NHL 09 with more lighting, or NBA live 14. No new dekes, no return for True performance skating. More cringe commentary with Carlyn Now in the menus. EA is lazy so they remove equipment while some stay in the game. Like seriously, where is the Bauer Re Akt and Re Akt 100? All the best players are wearing those helmets in the menus and in real life. Superstar X FACTORS are Basically a way for EA to disguise how unrealistic the game is with unrealistic scenarios. You can't take a harder shot while moving in real life, so why is it this way in an NHL Game. I'm tired of how repetitive this game is. Same exact outdoor rinks in world of chel. Same progression. Same Cringe Be a pro and cringe commentary that I mute. NHL 14 was the last great NHL as it opened possibilities now that have been ignored. Where is the winter classic and stadium series? If this game is on PC, just imagine how creative the community will get with mods.

I am writing this from the shadow realm after I left the ball in the air to float where my body once was. I ask God for forgiveness after I committed this deadly sin against physics. I disappeared and now I am back on the field to run to the sidelines and do the same celebration since madden 15.

This Game False Advertised everything about it. EA removed many dekes and replaced them with original and useless new dekes. The game is far too unrealistic. The AI is terrible, Body Checking ****, and stick checks are overpowered. Skaters are skating like peewees, and goalies are swiss cheese. unless you have a stacked team like I do( I.E. 99 overalls) then your players will let you down. This was probably the best year for hit, since everyone had 90 overalls and higher by January. Overall, this series does not resemble hockey whatsoever. It's the EA Sports Monopoly that targets these young generations to get them to spend more on this game. Don't give in to EAs Demands. They're the worst company Twice for a reason.

There is no better open world game than GTA. This game is breathtaking on next gen. The only thing I'd wish is If they could take out the Opressir MK II in the open world. Too OP! Also, I would like some more real life looking cars. Many cars have wierd looking headlights and there is no color wheel like most titles. It's a good thing this game is on pc, but for ps4, we could have much more creativity.

Pathetic. Just Pathetic by EA. Graphics are still **** Everything looks plasticky and glossy. The ice looks like nhl 94. Most notably the crease. Players bodies look skinny. Graphics have gotten worse since nhl 16. EA is lazy enough to bring back be a pro untouched, and make world of Chels new eliminators mode worse bc you have to keep playing to stay in your tier. They Can't even add all the equipment players wear like the bauer re akt 95 and 150 helmet. All they did was change animations for goaltenders and shooting. Goal scoring is basically cross crease cheese or spamming one timers from the point. Skating is no longer physics based and there is no momentum in strides. Deking is still horrible. You can't do c cuts or 45 degrees or stride dekes like before. Old gen deking was the best. Playing online isn't fun at all. Glitchy and Hut is pay to win again. Facescans have gotten worse. Last year, every new player had their faces scanned had messed up helmets with their hair glitching and it tilting up on their heads. Now everyones head is tiny. Franchise mode is a fail, slow as hell, and is so unrealistic. We can't even upload custom rosters or game **** entire game is an arcadic mess with unrealistic goals, penalties, and AI. yet people call it a realistic game. Having a penalty every poke check and stick lift attempt isn't realistic. It's garbage. AI is horrible. Especially on the special teams. Everyone just runs the 1 3 1 trap because your own ai will just skate into them instead of swinging to get open for a breakout. The camera angles ****. Theres no custom camera options. This game was hardly innovated at all. I want EA to see why we despise them as a company. Their greed for just a simple game update is beyond despicable. I live and die for hockey, and what they have done is create a game for the beginners who don't know hockey and just cheese the game.
